CHAPTER FORTY-TWO: THE TATTOO

Five was driving down the road "Turn" you said when you saw an RV in the forest and Five turned left before driving farther into the forest.

Five stopped the bike as you both saw Pogo's bike and Five stopped the engine before he got off.

"My lady" he moved his hand towards you and you smiled before you grabbed his hand and he help you off the bike.

"You know that you look really hot riding on that bike" you said "Thanks" he said with a smile.

"I think you should buy a bike. It will look good on you" you said "Well, I like bikes more than cars" he said "Maybe we should both buy a bike each" you said "Yeah, I like that" he said "Imagined us two driving down the roads on our bikes" you said "Like a real power couple" he said with a smile "Yeah" you said also smiling as you both look at each other while imagined that picture in your minds.

You two then walked closer to the RV to see a woman sitting on her bench, reading a while smoking "Can I help you two?" she asked "Need a word with Pogo" Five said "Ain't no Pogo here, pumpkin" the woman said "Then you must be a really big fan of him, sense you have him riding on a bike with you, sprayed on the RV" you pointed on RV.

"Okay" Five huffed before the two of you stepped closer and the woman stood up "So I suggest you two get your ass of my property before I call a truant officer" she said "We're so scared" you said sarcastically.

You and Five remained silent as you stared at the woman.

"It's okay, Tammy. Let the kids in" Pogo said from inside the RV.

Five gave the woman a small smirk and raised his eyebrows before you and him walked towards the RV.

You and Five entered the RV to see Pogo sitting by a table and the two of you walked over before taking a seat in front of him while Tammy closed the door before she sat on the other side of the RV, continuing to read her book.

As soon as you and Five sat down you and him heard a pistol cocking but you both remain calm.

"You're either dumb or desperate" Pogo said and Five moved his hand into his inner pocket "Which is it?" Pogo asked.

"You tell me" Five took out the piece of skin with the tattoo before he put it on the table.

Pogo put down his glass before he picked up the tattoo "That looks like my work, but I never did that tattoo" he said "Not yet, you haven't. I cut it off my 100-year-old self" Five said "Ah, so desperate it is" Pogo said "You would be too if you knew the entire universe were at stake" Five said and and Pogo inhale sharply "So it's happened" he said before the sound of a pistol de-cocks was heard.

Pogo opened a small box next to him before he took out a journal "Ah, here it is" he said as he opened it on a page, before he lay it on the table to show it so you and Five could see "Look familiar?" he asked as Five grabbed the journal before he lay the skin down next to the journal to compare the tattoo with the sigil and symbols on in the journal while you learn closer.

"It match" you said as both you and Five saw that the tattoo matched with the symbols on the page.

"Reggie was obsessed with these symbols. It's a sigil. A symbol thought to have magical powers" Pogo said causing you and Five to glance at each other, remembering that there was a few times where Reginald would call your powers magical and he ones called you a person with powerful magical powers. 

"Reginald believe in magic?" Five asked as you and him looked back at Pogo "Dad believed in science, facts. I didn't respect much about the old man, but I respected that. Hoo-ha was not his thing. It's gotta have a rational meaning" Five said as he was looking at the symbols "I don't know, but he referred to it as Project Oblivion" Pogo said and Five looked at him as he remember that his old self said the same.

"Maybe he isn't aware of his own project...only knows what he needs and what it can cause, but not where to find it. That could be a reason for that name" you said and Five looked at you "It was just a idea" you said "And it was an incredibly smart one at that. Nice thinking, Love" Five said before he turned to Pogo.

"This project. We need to know more" Five said and Pogo poured Five a drink before he started telling you and Five more about it.

"It was a kamikaze mission. He was preparing the Sparrow children with the expectation they might never return" he said as Five took a sip of a glass "That's why I gave the children those pills, to keep them safe from him" Pogo said "Well, our druggie brother just got him sober. Go figure" Five said "Then Project Oblivion is starting again, and you are all in danger" Pogo said as he pointed at the two of you.

Five let out a sigh as he took a sip of his glass before he put it down "Then I should probably get that ink. Complete the loop" he said before he got up and began removing his blazer.

"Are you sure?" Pogo asked "Oh, I don't think destiny cares whether I am or not" Five said "Bitch is cruel, ain't she?" Tammy said as she got up before she grabbed Pogo's things while Five sat down on the couch.

"Where are you gonna get it?" you asked "The chest" Five answered.

"Well then, let's get started" Pogo said as Five took off his tie.

While holding Five's shirt, blazer and tie, you watch as Pogo started making the tattoo as you were sitting next to Five.

Viktor had succeeded taking back his powers from Harlan.

Allison was standing outside the building when Harlan walked outside "How's Viktor?" she asked "Sleeping. He is exhausted. Thank you for before, letting us finish what we needed to do" Harlan said "He's my brother. I'd do anything for him" Allison said "What happens to me now?" Harlan asked "You go home. We clean up your mess" Allison said "With the Sparrows" Harlan said and Allison nodded "Yeah" she said.

"It's okay. I know why you don't like me" Harlan said and Allison turned around to look at him "I don't like the hold you have on him" she said "It's because of what I did. To all of you" Harlan said "And what is that exactly?" Allison asked "I...I...thought Viktor told you. About the mothers" Harlan said "It was you. You're the reason they're all dead" she said "It was an accident. I didn't meant to hurt them" he said "You're the reason Claire's dead" Allison said angry "My powers spilled over. Got in my head" he said "And the reason the whole world is ending!" she said more aggressive "I...I couldn't stop myself" he said "Viktor knew" she said "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't want..." he said, shaking with the sound of sadness and pain in his voice "Sorry is what you say when you spill a glass of milk, not obliterate somebody's child!" she said before she took a deep breath and looked down on the ground "What are you gonna do?" he asked and she looked at him.

When Pogo was done, Five took his shirt, blazer and tie back on.

"Ready to go?" Five asked as he looked at you "In a minute" you said before you looked at Pogo "I would also like to have a tattoo" you said "A tattoo?" Five asked and you looked at him "Why?" he asked "'Cause I would like to have one. Do you have a problem with that?" you asked and he shook his head "No" he said.

"Alright, take a seat Mrs." Pogo said and you nodded before you walked over and sat down on the couch.

"Where are you gonna get it?" Five asked as he sat down get to you.

"My left wrist" you said before you quickly wrote down something down on a piece of paper and handing it to Pogo "I would like have this tattooed on my left wrist" you said and Pogo unfolded the paper before he nodded.

"Okay, let's begin" he said and you rolled up your sleeve on your left wrist before you looked at Five "Look away" you said "Why?" he asked "'Cause if you see it before I show it to you, it wouldn't be a surprise" you said "Fine" he said before he got up and walked over to sit by the table so his back was facing you.

He poured some alcohol up in his glass before he took a sip as he looked at the symbols in the journal.

Allison stopped her car in front of the Academy where Fei and Ben was standing.

Allison walked over to the trunk of the car before opened it and Ben and Fei walked over to see what was in the trunk "You got what you wanted. This is done" Allison said as they looked into the trunk to see Harlan's dead body.

Ben looked at Reginald with a nod and Reginald smiled before he walked back into the Academy.

Allison walked over to the front door to see Luther wearing the Sparrow suit. She scoffed before she walked into the Academy.

When you have gotten your tattoo you and Five walked out of the trailer.

"So what did you get?" he asked and you rolled up your left sleeve before you turned your wrist around and Five's eyes widened when he saw the tattoo.

You have gotten the nr. 5 tattooed on your left wrist. "Do you like it?" you asked and he looked at you "I love it" he said "This mean that no matter what happens, I'm yours" you said "And you're mine" he said as he put his hands on your cheeks.

"Remember that no matter what happens, I will follow you anywhere for the rest of my life cause you are my path and my future, my everything" he said as you had your foreheads rested against each other "And you are mine" you said and he smiled before you both close your eyes as he pressed his forehead more against yours.

Five stopped the bike by a parking spot near the hotel before you and him got off "Come, let's find that symbol" he said before he started walking towards the hotel but stopped when he noticed that you weren't following him and he turned around to see you still standing by the bike.

"Darling, you okay?" he asked and you looked at him "Maybe it would have being best that I stayed back in Dallas" you said "What?" Five took a step closer to you.

"What are you talking about?" he asked "I know that part of this kugelblitz is my fault" you said as he approached you "What makes you think that?" he asked "I'm one of the main reason it is here. Because of you tookn me with you meant that I never got to live that life I was supposed to, and apparently that changed a lot in the timeline and now with you and your siblings never being born, together that created the Kugelblitz" you said before looking down.

"And now that this Project Oblivion is starting which mean that we are all in danger" you let out a small sob "What if....What if we don't save the world this time and we will get separated, or that I lose you or I di--" "No. Hey, hey" he said, cutting you off and took your hands.

"I will never let that happen. No matter what, I will make sure that nothing is going to separated us, I promise, and nothing is going to happen to you as long as I'm here" he said and you looked at him before smiling.

"Beside no matter what happens, I'm going to protect you, I promise" he said "You know that I can protect and take care of myself" you said "I have never doubt that for even a second, you are the bravest and strongest person I know" he said and you smiled.

Five then rested his forehead on top of yours "But hey, at least if we don't stop this whole thing and we don't save the world this time, I'm glad that I get to spend the rest of the time I have left with the one that is most important to me" he said and you could feel your eyes started to burn as well as your throat. Your emotions are too overwhelming, your confusion, your happiness, your love, your sympathy, your fear, the terror...but all you can do is look into Five's eyes and all that fear went away.

"I'm not going to let anything happen to you. You are staying with me all the time, I promise, you got it?" he asked and you nodded.

But then he looked down "I'm scared too, more than you know. I'm scared of not being able to protect you. You're my everything and if I lose you, I wouldn't be able to handle it. It will be too much to bear" he said as he was holding your hands.

"My older self say that he was not able to save you and I'm scared that it will happen to me too. I'm scared of losing you" he said "No, no, no" you said as you put your hands on his cheeks before you lifted his head so he was looking at you "I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. We are going to get through this, and we are going to get through it together" you said "I'm going to change our fate. We are going to save the world and we are going to live a long, beautiful, peaceful and happy life together" he said and you smiled "I would love that" you said.

"I really want this all to end. I feel selfish saying it because you've been at this more than I have" you said "I want it to end too. But every moment I have with you and my siblings is one I'll take for now" he grabbed your hand "And you aren't me, so I promise you are a lot stronger than I am. And I'm not scared because there's nothing to be scared about" he said, even so he was scared out of his mind that this wouldn't work, and he would lose you. 

"Don't worry Love, we are gonna fix this" he said "What if we don't managed to stop this" you said "Then I will find you, in whatever afterlife there is, Y/n/n. I will searched through every little universe and timeline for you. Maybe the world is trying to fuck us over or test us or just hate us, but it has never been enough for us to be apart. If this is door close, then I am glad to announced that I had lived the most amazing life out with you. I already had my lifetime and if I don't get another then I am okay with that as long as you're going out with me" he said "What if it's too late? What about our future? I wanted that. I want a life with you" you said "And I want that too. And maybe we still can if we fix it. I don't give a fuck of what that old geezer had to say. If there's a chance, we take it" he said.

He then leaned closer to you, but as they were about to kiss, the sound of thunder was heard before it started raining cause the you and Five to pull away before the two of you up in the sky.

"I think we better get inside" Five said "No, just give it a second, it will clear up" you said.

But the rain didn't stop and while all the people on the street started running inside so they could get shelter from the rain, Five and you were standing still causing you both to get soaked by the rain.

Five then looked at you "Have you ever dance in the rain?" he asked and you looked at him "No. Why?" you asked and he stretched his arm towards you "May I have this dance?" he asked and you smiled "Yes, you may" you said before you grabbed his arm and the two of you started dancing in the rain.

You opened up my eyes

Even though your clothes got soaked due to the rain, you didn't care and the two of you kept dancing as if you were the only two people in the world.

Five lifted you a little bit up before he spin around slowly while you were both smiling.

As you were dancing it felt like everything around the two of you were in slow motion.

Five then put you down and you both stopped dancing before you looked into each other's eyes.

"You will always and forever be in my heart, no matter what comes between us. I care about you with all my heart and soul. You have been the one to show me what real love looks like and what it feels like to be loved. We have made so many memories that I will keep forever. I'm happy to call you my home and I will forever care for you" he said "The same goes for me" you said and he smiled.

You opened up my eyes

You both leaned closer, pressing your lips against each other while the rain was raining down at you.

Five put his hands on your waist while you put her hands on his cheeks as you kept kissing in the rain.
