The afternoon had fallen, Summer watched as the golden sunlight slowly dissapear behind the looming figure of the school, dragging its bright rays across the track

Students were packing up to leave, a few runners stayed to push in some more work

Summer leaned against the chairs of the bleachers as her eyes ran over the students sprinting on the track

There was peace in sitting alone, the cold air touched her skin and moved by, stroking the few strands of hair that lingered by her jaw. The feeling of the cold wind on her skin calmed her muscles

She had been out there for a while, awaiting the sun to fall and a reason to leave

The constant loop of school and a broken home was enough to stress anyone out

So she stayed for a while in hopes of making the day end faster when she arrived home

Or perhaps she would escape to somewhere else that she found calm, seeing that she could get away with it now from her Father's deal

But someone caught her eye once again, slinging their bag behind their back as they walked across the lawns of the field

Summer tilted her head to the side as her eyes roamed over the girl

Melanie walked at a fast pace, there was an expression written on her feel that Summer couldn't see from afar

But with her furrowed brows, she knew something was up with the girl

Around the corner, stood a familiar blonde hair boy. His brows were clenched together as his eyes pierced into Melanie's

Perhaps she had finally broke it off with him, Summer snickered to herself as she watched the boy's face turn red

The boy then flicked the girl off and crossed his arms across his chest like a feisty little uwu slut with a pout

"Dumbass" she muttered under his breath

It truly was amazing how she was with him in the first place. It's like placing cosmetic jewelry next to diamonds

He then stopped his feet and folded his fist, allowing the pasty skin to pop his veins more as he walked away, heading back into the school

Summer shook her head at the boy before drifting her eyes back towards the brunette walking across the lawn

Only to see that the girl was watching her from afar

A small smirk made its way on Summer's lips as she tilted her head to the side again

Melanie simply rolled her eyes as she started to continue her journey to the parking lot

Summer chuckled and propped herself up, there was no way she was going to let her get away that easily

It was her job to torment her either way

"Wait!" Summer screamed, her feet moved against the boards as she hopped from chair to chair, leading down the bleachers

Melanie's eyes widened before her feet took over, ready to dash towards the parking lot

The big hungry gay giant continued to chase after the little lamb, fee fye foo fum

Making the confused little gay run

But Summer was a runner and a track star, she wasn't going to run away when it gets hard

Her legs moved quicker than the brunette's as she started to chase her down the track

Melanie dashed around the corner and reached the parking lot

The area was empty with just two cars remaining, Melanie's little nubs ran as fast as they could towards her jeep

Only to be tackled by the raven hair girl's arms around her body

The two almost stumbled to the ground before Summer released her hands from the girl's shoulder

"Hello there" The raven hair girl grinned

Melanie simply rolled her eyes as turned towards her car, her fingers dipping into her pockets

"Nice car" Summer grinned

"Is there a reason why you're running after me?" Melanie questioned

"Usually it was the other way round, which makes this so much more fascinating" Summer smirked

"What does that even mean?" Melanie asked

The girl unlocked her side of the door and started to slip in

Summer smirked and dashed towards the other side, making her way quickly before the girl could notice

By the time Melanie had slipped into her side, Summer had slammed the passenger door shut and turned to face her

Summer's smile was wide, reaching the corners of her ear as she rested her chin on the top of her hands

"Dear god" Melanie rolled her eyes

"Tryna get lucky? $20 will cover it but you gotta bring me back" Summer smirked

"Huh?"

"You're so innocent and precious, it's adorable" She chuckled

"Summer, what are you doing in my car" Melanie glared

"I need a ride home" She smiled

"Your car is literally right over there" Melanie gritted, using her finger to point at the car at the end of the parking lot

"My baby needs a rest, her engine failed" Summer pouted

"Is your engine actually broken?" Melanie asked

"....."

"Get out"

"But yours is more comfortable" Summer pouted

"I'm not taking you home-"

"ARE YOU ASHAMED OF ME" The raven hair girl screamed

A few students walking around the exit had turned their faces in the two girl's direction

"Summer-"

"IS IT BECAME I'M NOT A MAN"

"Oh my god" Melanie groaned, allowing her face to fall flat in the palms of her hand

"I KNOW MY STRAP DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME BUT IT'S ALL I HAVE-"

Melanie's foot had slammed on the gas so hard that the backfires grazed against the concrete and left a dark mark along with a heap of dust flying

The students were already staring but she knew Summer was simply going to embarrass her even more

"That's my girl" Summer smirked

"Shut up" Melanie muttered

"Oh you love being calling my girl" The raven hair girl said again

Melanie simply rolled her eyes as her hands gripped the steering wheel, turning out on the main road

"This is the life" Summer smiled

The girl then fixed herself in the chair, leaning back into the seat and applying her palm to the back of her head

Her legs then kicked up on the dashboard of the car as she leaned back in her seat to get comfortable

"SUMMER GET YOUR FEET OFF MY CAR"

"Our car sweetheart, what's mine is yours Ms Harlow" Summer grinned

"GET YOUR FEET-"

"You sound so hot when your scream"

"SUMMER"

"God yes, again" Summer smirked

"I swear you infuriate me" Melanie hissed

"I can do alot of things to you with the right positions and angles"

"Huh?"

"God you're so cute" Summer chuckled

The girl then placed her feet off the board, knowing Melanie was about to explode at any given second

Besides, she wanted to be on the girl's good side if she wanted to find out a few information

Her eyes then drifted towards the girl driving, Melanie's face was tightened as she glared forward at the road, perhaps from the built up anger there was towards the raven hair girl noseying her way through situations

But even in her moments, she managed to stay beautiful

She had glossy skin, a light shade of brown, many would never recognize the girl as mixed. Her rapture brown eyes melted Summer each time she caught a glimpse. Melanie raised her slender eyebrows as her eyes scanned over the road. Summer smiled to herself as she took in every feature of the girl

Her eyelashes were velvety, she had sea-nymph ears that burned red everytime she blushed, it was something Summer noticed. Melanie turned red everytime she was around her, She had a dainty nose so small and perfect with her brown freckled skin

She had pouting lips, Summer loved to be captured by the girl's shiny halo white teeth. There was just something about Melanie's smile that brought her world together

As if her troubles became insignificant and she could allow herself to be taken by the warmth of Melanie Robbins

Her eyes then fell over Melanie's, syrup-sweet lips and lingered. It was one of the most beautiful things she loved about the girl, her lips

Tasting them made her heart jump out of her body and run a marathon, while her became lost in everything the brunette had to offer. She had a soothing voice, calm and gently at times when she wasn't pretending to be upset at her

Either way she loved every page, every chapter and every verse of Melanie Robbins
