"Good morning my beautiful gold digging slut. Have you been a good whore for daddy?"

"If anyone else heard you, they would be very confused on the type of friendship we have" Axel snickered

"Friendship? Oh no hunny this is a pimp contract, I don't associate myself with work"

"How dare you. After all we've been through" Axel playfully gasped

"Don't get your panties in somebody else's laundry basket dear. It's nothing personal, just business" Summer smirked at the boy

"Well someone is in a good mood" Zelda chuckled, approaching the two friends

"I just was about to ask the same thing" Axel grinned

"Something like that" Summer chuckled

The three friends had been sitting on the bleachers for lunch, the day had went by without them seeing each other, being tugged and pulled away by classes

Summer leaned back on the seat as her eyes roamed over the track and football field of the school

In the bright visage of the mossy green, there was a track, a solid track, that was welcoming to the softest of soles

The field, in generous hedgerow trim, was the belle of the season, for she danced in the light and lent of her beauty to every passing soul

Blue sky, perfect protecting dome, that played with the sunlight on these fine days, promises to be the canvass to our laughter. With head in the silky grass that time both stopped and stretched to the infinite, the green and the blue showing each other's beauty in their contrast, it was beautiful but Summer still preferred the rain

Ironic for her name

"So, how have you two been?" Axel asked

"Work, school then work again. It's a cycle and I'm tired" Zelda rolled her eyes

"Still smashing the school's nurse?" Summer smirked

"I am no-"

"Huh!? Which chapter did I miss!?" Axel gasped

"Don't worry, she's a medical student, barley two years older" Zelda chuckled

"Girl don't scare me like that" Axel laughed

"Well what about you Ms Pimp. Any luck on your little situation with daddy's little angel?"

"I..  Don't know to be honest" Summer chuckled

"What do you mean?"

"There's been.. Incidences-"

Summer was cut off by the gastling sound of the two gasping loudly

"Nooooo"

"Do not tell me"

"NOOOO" Axel laughed

"No! We didn't hook up or anything"

"Really?" Zelda asked

"Yeah it's just.. Different you know?"

"Why?"

"Because she doesn't understand herself or anything outside of religion. Her whole life is based on this one diction and I'm trying to get her to open up. To see things in another light and maybe make her realize that she doesn't need to be controlled by certain things"

"Damn, sounds like she's going through some stuff"

"She is. Which is something I find so interesting about you. It's like she's been kept under a cover for so long and now she's starting to get a bit brave enough to peek out.. Hopefully with a good amount of time, she'll be able to be herself" Summer said

The raven hair girl then furrowed her brows at the sudden silence between the two friends. Her eyes then glanced back and forth between the two, only to see that they had a huge pout on their lips and twinkling starts in their big eyes

"AWWWWWWW" the two squealed

"Dios mío" Summer rolled her eyes

"Our little Summy is falling in loveeee" Zelda squealed

"I'm not falling in love!"

"She's crushing so hard"

Summer simply rolled her eyes at the two before turning her head to face the track, a few students were all lined out, setting up for their practice

Football players strapped on their booths tightly while sitting on the benches around while a few track runners collapsed on the ground from exhaustion

Her eyes caught the attention of someone who would always stand out in a crowd

The sun bounced on her brown hair woven with strands of gold and auburn lights is her year-round autumnal beauty. It was her hearth, the place her eyes rest and felt such radiant glow, for the memories of such many hued strands, seeing the familiar hair was her happy place

Melanie's slender eyebrows rose slightly as those eyes, a light brown, the kind that remind you of trees in brightest summer sun scanned the entire area of the bleachers

Those light brown eyes in rich golden sunlight, it captivated Summer every time. Every time.

Cherry sweet lips turned into a smile when Melanie's eyes caught her own from the bottom of the stairs

As if she was being pulled by a trance, Summer stood to her feet and hopped in the seats in front of her, climbing down to the stairs

She didn't care if she had stepped on people or left a dirt foot print of the benches, she needed to be next to the girl in that second

Axel and Zelda's laughter was heard from the top, fading as the girl walked away

"WHIPPED"

Was the final word she heard from the two before her mind was completely lost in everything Melanie

Finally, she reached the room of the stairs. Her foot stepped onto the edge of the track

She had a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a light brown complexion from her mixed race

A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose

A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed. It was a pleasure to see her flowing, auburn brown hair. Her enticing, constellation- hue brown eyes gazed at Summer over her puffy, heart shaped lips

Her lips tasted strawberry sweet when she kissed her, that she will always remember. Hell, the taste she craved right now

"Hi" Summer smiled

"Where have you been!" Melanie hissed

So much for the bright smile she had before

The brunette swatted the girl's forearm and Summer hissed in pain

"Ow! What was that for!"

"You missed bible meeting"

"Well how was I supposed to know. I don't have your number" Summer smirked, knowing the girl had no choice but to give it to her now

Melanie stitched together her brows as her eyes roamed over the girl, it was clear that she was hesitating but what other choice did she have. She did drag her into this situation in the first place

"Fine. Give me your phone" She mumbled

Summer chuckled as she pulled her phone from my pocket, handing it towards the girl

A few taps and the Melanie had stored her number in the girl's phone, handing it back

"I've been walking the entire school looking for you" Melanie sighed

"Missed me that much?" Summer smirked

The brunette gave the girl a small glare but Summer knew the truth in those eyes, lingering behind the cold was a small spectrum of softness

"The church fair is coming up soon. You have to participate"

"Whatever you want me to do" Summer grinned

"Oh really?" Melanie asked

"Yes. But you'll have to kiss me first" Summer said

The brunette rolled her eyes again as she gripped the clipboard in her hands, bringing it to her chest

"Don't act like you don't want to"

"No. I do not" Melanie said, but there was a slight tremble to her voice

Summer tilted her head back, allowing her laughter to fill the air

"BABE"

A voice approached, the same voice that made Summer roll her eyes. It was as squeaky as a thirteen year old going through puberty

The blonde boy approached with a smile on his face, his hands immediately wrapped around Melanie's waist from behind as he placed his sweaty chin on the girl's shoulder

Watching his hands wrap around the girl's body brought a fire out. Summer's teeth met and pressed tightly, grinding against each other

An uncomfortable silence settled within, starting to rise when she noticed the boy placing a wet, sweaty kiss on the girl's cheek

A feeling of dullness flooded her veins in seconds, reaching to the tip of her toes and filling her fingers

The girl's fist folded together as her nails started to sink into her palm. When her anger came, it came like lava, burning its way up, slowly waiting to touch the person who deserved it most

Summer scrunched her face in disgust as she looked at the boy

"I missed you" he said

"Ew"
