Mom came home late tonight. She looked tired.. obviously.she works so hard this was normal but tonight she looked more pale..
"Mom, are you okay?" I asked as she put her bag on the couch

"Just a bit tired, sweetheart" she said but i think there's more to it but decided not to push it too much. This morning, Andrew had left for a business trip so it was just me and my mom. He doesn't live with us but he has been coming over a lot these days so mostly we have dinner together.. but since he's not here anymore it was just the two of us. We had dinner.. having small talk about her work and my studies.. and her last reminder of me completing every project because we will get busy because of the wedding and i won't have time for it.. i nodded and said I'll complete it on time and we continue to eat and after that she went to her room..

I don't know why I'm feeling like she's not well.. but when i asked her she shrugged and said she was just tired.. so i didn't ask much about it.. and went back to my room..and jumped on my bed.. i took out my phone and stared at the picture i took of Taehyung.. i have his official pictures from the media but this one was special. It was only for me. No one else got to look at it.. i blushed when i remembered how he knows i have these pictures.. our small interaction in the kitchen was giving me butterflies in my stomach.. this was way too much. I don't know why I'm being this delusional?

Wake up June...

But i couldn't help it.. he was making me feel things i shouldn't and my whole existence seems to have a separate mind of their own. It rejects my reminder and follows their own will ... I placed the phone on the side and closed my eyes.
Sleeping wasn't easy but i can't stay up pike this..

The next morning when i woke up the house suddenly felt silent.. i looked at the clock and realised I've overslept but mom didn't wake me up? That's weird. Or maybe she didn't want to because i don't have college now.. i yawned and got down from the bed and walked into the bathroom.. after freshening up i went to the kitchen.. the house was weirdly silent.. i saw mom didn't make breakfast.. so i decided to make it for us. Was she still sleeping? I headed to her room and knocked on the door.. calling her softly..

But for a long time, there wasn't any response.. but after some more time,when i was about to enter anyway..i heard a 'come in' and i opened the door and walked in.. i saw mom laying on her bed.. she was covered under the blanket .. her face looked pale.. i sat next to her and touched her forehead.. I gasped softly as i realised that she had a fever..

Her forehead was burning..
"Mom..why didn't you tell me that you have a fever?" I asked

"Don't worry sweetie, I'll be fine" she weakly responded and i shook my head

"No..no.. you're going to the hospital with me right now." I said firmly

"There's no need to go to the hospital. I'll be fine in a day or two. Don't worry" she again said the same thing and i sighed in frustration..

"Okay fine.. we won't go to the hospital but I'll call the doctor right now.." i said and went to my room to take my phone and came back quickly to her room.. i called our family doctor.. Dr.Wood.. and he visited really soon and checked up on mom.. he gave medicine and instructed her to rest completely.. so she won't be going to the office today.. after Mr.wood
Left i made it clear that she won't have to do anything.. and she's not going to the office till she gets well properly..

I prepared something for her to eat before taking her medicine.. i prepared instant ramyeon.. Don't know if that will turn out good or not.. I'm not that good at making foods. And i poured grape juice in a glass and went to mom's room.. she didn't feel like eating but she had to.. antibiotics are dangerous if you take them in empty stomach.. so she finished her food and drink then i gave her the medicine and after that, i suggest her to sleep..

Around 12 AM, i went to her room.. i took out a towel and damped it into the water.. and gently placed it on her forehead.. she wasn't sleeping.. just resting while keeping her eyes closed.. she smiled when i did that.. i remember how she used to wipe my whole body in childhood whenever i got a fever.. i didn't know what to do for lunch..i thought of ordering food from online.
It would be too much if i start experimenting in the kitchen now .. so i decided not to..

As i was thinking, mom's phone rang and i took the phone in my hand.. my heart started racing.. it showed the caller id "Boss" on it ... I knew who it was..
