         JUNELISE MOON NEVER EXPECTED THE MAN THAT SHE STUMBLED across her Instagram explore page to be her best friend's older brother. Out of all the men in the world, it had to be him—the forbidden choice. Rafe Cameron. Sarah Cameron's older brother. The same Sarah who had been her best friend for years. It was almost quite laughable, but it would only be amusing if it didn't feel like the universe was playing a cruel sick joke on her.

The story of how Junelise and Sarah met is relatively simple. The two girls met years ago when Sarah's father, Ward Cameron, brought her along to New York for a business trip. Funnily enough, the meeting Ward had to attend was with Junelise's dad, and ever since that day, Sarah and Junelise became inseparable. Junelise was later introduced to Sarah's other friends who were known as Pogues—Kiara, JJ, Cleo, Pope, and of course, her boyfriend, John B. The seven of them soon became a closely knitted group, forever bound by intense trust, love, and loyalty.

But the day Junelise discovered Rafe's account, everything changed. One simple photo was all it took for her to fall to her knees. Junelise messaged him without hesitation and tested her luck, trying to see if he could possibly reciprocate her flirtations, and to her surprise, he actually did. Junelise ran to her group chat with the girls and shared the good news only to be met with her dreams being crushed, every little thought she had of Rafe was immediately shattered by Sarah's text, a message that would forever haunt her mind.

"Wait, that's my brother.."

From that day forward, Junelise did everything in her power to push Rafe away from her. She purposely chose to ignore the undeniable tension between them, but there was nothing much that she could do. She knew herself better than anyone and she knew that she would eventually succumb to what she was fated for.

She knew how this story would end, but it came to the point where she no longer cared, rather, she was ready to embrace it with open arms. For Rafe Cameron was the embodiment of every dark desire she'd buried deep within herself.

         And Junelise Moon came to the conclusion that there were more devils than angels on her side. They whispered sinful temptations in her ear and clawed at her resolve viciously, and there was absolutely nothing that she could do to silence them.
