°track 04

Jimin tried running away once. He had tears pouring from his eyes as he ran. He didn't want to become a killer, it wasn't his dream. His dream was to bring happiness to the world with his dancing, singing, and angelic smile- that's all he ever wanted.

Greediness was never his thing, being considerate was. Hitman Bang had no consideration for him, it was either this or that, no considerations. Jimin used to respect his boss, but now all of that went down the drain.

It took Jimin the longest time to realize his fate. Jungkook was his catalyst- he was the one who made Jimin rethink his decision. He knew Jungkook sacrificed himself to become the first assassin for the good of his hyungs. Although Jungkook was younger than him, he respected him and looked up to him. Jimin respected Jungkook so much because he was capable of everything- even the guilt that he had to face.

The thought of killing someone made Jimin feel sick and twisted inside. He often cried when Jungkook returned back to the dorm with some blood stains on his clothes under his jacket. He was afraid.

No matter how long Jimin tried to avoid his fate, he kept coming back to the thought of becoming an assassin. Hitman Bang had stated before that the boys wouldn't be assigned to kill just anyone random, but certain people who have committed crimes of embezzlement or even murder were to be killed. Jimin felt better that the people who were to be killed were people who deserved to die.

Death was never something to be messed around with.

"Hyung, I don't want to do this. Do I have to?" Jimin asked with tears forming around his eyes while on the phone.

"I don't want to either, but we have to accept it," someone replied back, his hyung's muffled voice gave him reassurance and anxiety at the same time.

Days, weeks, months, and years passed, Jimin perfected the art of killing. Yes, it may seem that this image doesn't fit his personality, but what else could he possibly do? Of course he wanted to leave, but to risk losing his career and his life at the same time? No, Jimin could not risk that. The most important thing to Jimin was his members, he would never risk to lose them. He loved all of them very much, Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi, Taehyung and Jungkook.

Jimin had the same mindset as Jungkook, he accepted his fate to become an assassin for the sake of love- love for his members. He cared for them so much that he had to follow the orders of Hitman Bang, despite hating every single task he was given.

Blood was never involved when Jimin was assigned to kill someone, he would always find an alternative way to kill his victims. He would either poison, drown or suffocate his victims for a clean finish. He never enjoyed the sight of blood because it would stain his mind.

An assassin mustn't ever expose themselves, they were never allowed to do something that could potentially leave their mark on the scene. However, as a form of rebellion, Jimin always kept one item from every victim he got rid of. He always felt apologetic and would frequently keep those items as a way to pay his respect.

Although Jimin was often smiling, he was hiding something within it just like how the rest of his members were. He wasn't alone.
