Three: God of Thunder
ALLY
Eric shook his head and hands towards us, dismissing himself and averting our attention away from him.
"Shit. I'm fine," Eric's face had turned red as a tomato, still coughing. He gulped down some more water and sighed in relief as the coughing had subsided.
My first table and the customer almost died. I swear this is not meant to be.
Then I heard a chuckle from his friend or partner.
I turned my attention back to him. When he noticed me staring at him, he wiped the grin off his face and mustered a concerned look towards the poor guy.
"Eric, you okay man?" He asked in an attempt to show his concern, but failed miserably as he couldn't keep that grin off his face.
"Yup! I'm good," Eric was still shaking his head in disbelief. "Thanks miss," he added as he looked up at me while wiping his face dry with the napkin I handed him.
"Anyways," Harvey shook his head, still chortling at Eric, "I'll have tonight's special. The 30 pieces of Sashimi-Chef's Choice. Please." he ordered.
"Thank you, Ally," he added showing off his crooked smile, forcing me to look at him, my eyes falling right into his deep golden eyes. His hazel eyes were covered with golden sparks around the irises, bordered by hues of emerald green.
The way he said my name was such an orgasmic sound in my ears, sending shivers throughout my body. I felt my knees buckle from its pleasure. Then, my palms began to sweat, again.
What the heck!
I tightened my grip on the pen to avoid embarrassing myself. I forced myself to look away and attempted to keep my eyes glued to the note pad, writing down his order as if it were a novel. But I couldn't bury my face on that tiny notepad that I've been using as a shield from this creature, more like a God. Finally looking up, I saw Eric scanning the menu, again. It almost seemed like he was doing it on purpose to prolong my suffering.
I can still feel him looking at me from the corner of my eyes as I patiently waited for his companion to make up his mind. So, I gathered up all my strength and courage, turned his way and smiled at this beautiful man within my reach.
This time, I examined him as much as possible within seconds before being too obvious. He had this perfect composure with his broad back as straight as it could be. His wide shoulders look so strong. Those biceps are huge. It was evident how formed they are even though it was covered by the sleeves of his button-up shirt. This guy definitely works out.
I smile at the thought.
I can't even imagine what he looks like topless, or better yet, naked!
When he saw me smiling, I noticed his shoulders relaxed, he leaned his elbows on the table. His hands in front of him while his head was tilted in my direction, slowly scanning me from head to toe with those burning golden eyes.
I can feel my cheeks burn. It felt like the fiery lava from a newly erupted volcano had covered my whole face. The eruption had consumed my body, especially down there.
What the actual fuck Ally.
This is so wrong. So wrong on so many levels.
I shouldn't feel like this. I shouldn't let this stranger make me feel this way.
But he's just so God damn hot. That's what it is. I'm not going crazy.
Any girl would feel this much intensity coursing through their body. He almost gave out a Chris Hemsworth type of vibe. He was like the God of thunder lighting up every cell in my body.
Imagine what it'll do to my body once he pulls out his hammer.
I was so utterly attracted to him that I had forgotten his friend, or partner, had almost choked to death in front of us just a few minutes ago. Finally, Eric intentionally and loudly cleared his throat.
"I'll have the same thing he's getting. No octopus and no need for any wasabi in my box. Thanks, beautiful." Eric smiled flirtatiously and handed the menu back to me.
"Would that be all?"
I had to leave my fantasies behind and come back to reality. I must have forgotten to breathe because I felt the heaviness on my chest starting to weigh me down. I tried to quietly and subtly breathe slowly through the small gap between my lips to prevent myself from hyperventilating.
"Yes. I think we're good for now."
Turning my attention back to Harvey as I grabbed the menu from him. I found him staring at me with a smile that creased the side of his eyes. I don't know how to handle this look he was giving me. It felt like he was sucking all the oxygen from my body.
It was deadly.
How long was he going to stare at me like this? If he kept at it, I might as well join the competition and stare back. Maybe this would intimidate him too. Maybe this would make him stop.
But I didn't think I wanted him to stop.
He released his grip on the menu and I ran away as fast as a prey runs from from a predator.
