He is a viking earl that is from Scandinavia and he intends in not just raiding, but settling the island Godric lives on as part of a Viking colony.  Although ruthless in battle, he ollows a strict code of honor and has several Berserkers and shieldmaidens at his service.'

He is the eldest son of Earl Starkad and is eager to prove himself to his father in order to become earl. He has a distaste for christians and loves battle. His favorite pasttime is drinking ale and sparring.
