Backstory: Born in Irvine, California to immigrant parents, Tak and his siblings had a normal upbringing  until the energy crisis hit and the world was wracked with famine, war, and plague. Once he got a job with a small game developer in Texas, Tak was introduced to the OASIS and spent a lot of time there with his coworkers and his two best friends, known as xXSonicalasXx and Aiku69.  Once the hunt for Halliday's egg went down, he was one of the few Gunters to assist Parzival and the High Five against the Sixers.
