You are happily bouncing along the path that doesn't exist, (because it's just mulch, bugs, dirt and leaves but you call it a path so it doesn't feel like you're just randomly walking through a rainforest which usually triggers your anxiety-), minding your own business, when suddenly the most beautiful bird in the history of the world flies past you and perches itself on a small cecropia tree only 5 feet away from you.

You don't need to get any closer to know it's the legendary motmot bird. With its golden breast, emerald green wings and turquoise tail, it's the cutest little thing, like ever! If you manage to take a picture of it this close and in the wild, it could be the thing you needed to boost the ornithology career you don't have and further your reputation as an excellent adventurer.

Without warning, the bird starts to sing, and you feel your ear drums pop. That haggard goblin with wings makes sounds that should be considered illegal by both the CDC, the FDA and their Panamanian counterparts. Car keys on a chalkboard followed by a dystopian cow giving birth, the squawking is absolutely terrible.

Regardless, you still whip out your trusty kodak camera and twist the film, ready to take.that.shot. However, in that moment and to your utter dismay, the bird flies off.

You're about to angrily stuff your camera back into your pack, when you hear the wonderful screechy moo-ing once again and funnily enough it's not even that far away! You know you should be concentrating on other things right now, but this could truly be a chance of a lifetime.

Leave the group and hunt down that bird go to 14

Ignore the bird because you are responsible and have priorities go to 17

*I'm kidding, the motmot bird doesn't actually sound like this or terrible at all. If you want to hear a real weird ass sounding bird though, check out the Capuchin bird because it sounds like a mixture between a meowing cat and a dial up modem and that's kind of fantastic.
