Rain didn't say anything, no matter how hard Payu tried to talk or comfort him, Rain wasn't going to tell him anything at all. Venice didn't want to push Rain, he understood that an event like that could scare him a lot and leave a permanent mark, so he just stayed with him, thankfully Rain still liked the sensation he got after feeling his boyfriend's touch, so he just let Venice caress and play with his hair all night.

The following morning, Rain woke up quite early, he tried to do it slowly in order to let Venice sleep, but his boyfriend wasn't sleeping, he was still so worried about him that he wasn't able to close his eyes for some proper rest. Venice greeted Rain with a tired smile, he asked him with his soft voice:

"Where are you going? Stay with me a little bit more..."

"I can't. I have to go home and take my notebooks so that I can attend my classes today" Rain replied a little more coldly than it was meant to be.

"You can skip a lesson or two..." Venice whined but his boyfriend shook his head and responded: "We aren't all like you, I have to pay attention in class if I don't want to be left behind. Don't worry, I'll come back in the evening ok?" Rain replied.

He went downstairs but suddenly he recognized Payu's footsteps behind him, he turned and asked him what he was doing.

"I'm going to take you home and then to your college, I don't want you to go around alone. When is your lunch break? I could buy something to eat, I remember that there is a nice park right outside the college and we could..."

"Venice! Fine.. I'll let you give me a ride back home, but I want to go to college on my own..." Rain replied.

Venice nodded, he didn't have much of a choice so he agreed with that and prepared the car. He took Rain home and received a kiss on the cheek in return for the favor. Was Venice going to let Rain walk on his own to his campus? Yes. Was he ready to stop following and observing him from afar? Certainly not.

Several minutes later, Rain reached the gate of the campus and decided to call Payu to tell him that he had arrived safely, however, right after he pressed call, he heard Payu's ringtone from the parking lot, he looked around and recognized his boyfriend's car. Venice tried to hide but there was no way it was going to work.

"Payu! I can't believe this"

"I'm worried ok? I... I just wanted to..."

"You just wanted to what? I asked you one thing, I want my space, how should I tell you that?" Rain said and ran away, eventually hiding in a bathroom stall where he sat on the floor and cried for what he had just said to the love of his life. Why did he want to stay alone? Why did he have to be so rude to him? He was just worried after all.

Venice hit the steering wheel frustrated, he remained there for a few minutes, thinking about Rain's words, then he drove back home.

A student heard Rain sobbing, he looked around and took a deep breath, he locked the door of the bathroom, waited for Rain to come out of the stall and hit him on the head so hard that the boy fell onto the floor unconscious.

"I have the kid, take the car near the window of the bathroom on the ground floor, so that we can take him away." He said at the phone. A few more minutes and everything seemed back to normal, the door of the bathroom was unlocked and nobody was crying there anymore.

"Wh...what happened..." Rain murmured as he woke up, feeling a terrible headache after that ferocious hit on the head. He looked around and recognized Gun, who was standing right in front of him with Rain's phone in his hands.

"Oh, our sleeping beauty is finally awake. I'm calling your soulmate, I think that he will be happy to know that you're with me" Gun replied.

"I thought that Pete had already beaten the shit out of you..." Rain replied.

"Such a cute attempt to make me angry, you make me want to squish those cute cheeks until you cry. Anyway... now stay silent ok? I'm calling him. Put that thing in his mouth, I don't want him to disturb us." Gun said to one of his henchmen.

"Rain? Are you alright?" Payu asked as he picked up the phone.

"Ummm, sorry Venice, it's me, Gun. Your boyfriend is here with me and can't really talk at the moment, do you want me to return him to you?" Gun asked with an innocent tone.

"What do you want?" Payu asked trying to keep his anger at bay, since he heard Rain moaning, desperately trying to say something even though he couldn't articulate the words.

"If you check your texts, you will see that I've sent you a location. Come here alone and you'll get your precious boyfriend back. I repeat that I want you to come alone, clear?" Gun continued.

"Yes..."

"Very good, see you soon then" Gun responded and hung up.
