It was getting very late and Vegas didn't know where his son and his husband were, so he tried to call Venice who picked up quickly.

"Where are you? And Pete?"

"We are at the hospital"

"What!? Which one?"

"The one near the airport... oh wait dad!" Venice shouted but it was already too late, Vegas hung up right after hearing the location and got on his motorbike to reach them as soon as possible.

The most terrifying scenarios were running in his mind, he reached the hospital in just a few minutes, he rushed to the stairwell and looked around for his family. Then he spotted Venice going up and down the hallway.

"What happened? Where is Pete? Is it serious?" Vegas asked while holding his son by his shoulders. He didn't see Pete around so he thought that he was getting a surgery or something similar.

"Hey, calm down dad, Pa is inside, you can enter but don't shout ok?" Venice said. His father was still worried, he thought that he would have found Pete laying on a bed behind that door but he shook his head in confusion as he realized that the guy on the bed was Rain and that Pete was just sitting behind him reading silently.

"What the hell happened?" Vegas whispered. Pete looked up at him and nodded, he stood up and grabbed his arm, then they left the room.

"I suspected that something wrong was happening with Venice's boyfriend so I went to check... that boy was depressed. He hasn't eaten anything in days and when he talked to me he said he felt useless and that we all hated him. I couldn't leave him alone." Pete explained.

"For God's sake why didn't you send a text! I called Venice and the only thing he said was "We are at the hospital", I drove like a madman to arrive in time!" Vegas responded.

"Well, we are fine so stop making a fuss over nothing" Pete said.

"To be honest it is your fault, I was about to tell you the details but you left immediately" Venice intervened.

"So it is my fault now!? Fuck you... everyone of you... come on, let's go home" Vegas said.

"I'm not coming. I know that it sounds silly but... I trust Rain now and I can't leave him in this moment of need. It is just a night out, it can't be that terrible" Pete responded.

"Same... I've already abandoned him once, I can't do it again..." Payu added.

Vegas facepalmed and sighed frustrated, then he said:

"Let me guess, I have to go around and beg for a few pillows?"

"Yeah, that would be great" Pete said with a smile.

Poor Vegas, he had already seen that smile fade a few times and every time he did whatever he could to make it reappear on his husband's face. He couldn't really let him down for something so easy to do.

"I will have to sleep here to then..." Vegas murmured annoyed.
