Y/N left the party in a hurry. Tears poured down her face as she furiously tried to stop crying. Of course, that would be the only reason why Rue wanted her to come to this party, to be a babysitter while she got high.

"I'm fine. I don't know why I'm crying. I think it's the pollen." Y/N used her other hand to wipe away any evidence of her crying fit.

"You need a ride home? Or you wanna go somewhere else?" Algee placed his hand nervously in his pockets. 

Y/N noticed he was nervous. Algee didn't have the word nervous in his vocabulary. He was in college trying to go pro. If anything he could be a pompous asshole. But, Y/N didn't mind his company. Plus, he was cute. 

"You know someplace where we could be alone?" Y/N asked quirking her eyebrow.

By then Algee and Y/N were chilling at his college dorm an hour away. Her parents didn't care where she was so why should she? They both laid on the small extra large twin size bed. She was comfortable. 

"So, are you gonna tell me why you were crying earlier?" He questioned as his hand slowly grazed her back. 

Y/N lifted her head up with her brown doe eyes on display, "Ehh, it's nothing. I just felt overwhelmed by my friends. All Rue wants to do is get high and I just feel left out. Sorry, I know I'm talking too much." 

"You good. Go ahead. I don't mind." 

She smiled and nuzzled into his chiseled chest, "Anyway. Enough about me. How's college coming. I'm glad you left because you used to bother me all the damn time." 

Algee was someone Y/N trusted. They always had each other back in high school. She'd show up to all his games and cheer him on. Unlike, his father who had to mention every flaw all the time. In return, he was a close friend to Y/N even if they had crossed that line every once in a while. 

"It's okay. I realized that I'm just average. Everyone else is...better than me." He looked away from Y/N for a slight moment.

"Why you let that bother you so much? I think you're just as good as them." She smiled at him.

Instead of answering her, Algee kissed her soft pink lips. Y/N melted into his chest and the butterflies swarmed in her stomach. His large hand crept up her thigh giving it a squeeze and swinging her leg to engulf his torso.
