The Bounty2

I stood still, watching him.
I try to ignore how I feel,
Anytime my gaze met his eyes.
It felt like he is calling out to me.
Not just for a dance, but something more. With every passing second, as he stared deeply, he's digging for my soul.

I can't control his gaze
It cuts so deep into my maze
I fear he may set me ablaze
With his fiercely gaze.
I try to search my maze,
Looking for a good cliche to avoid his prying gaze.
But it was all so hazy.

He saw my hesitation.
He knew if left alone, I will not pass through this phase which now is an obvious delay.
He is now on my face as day, he smiles and said his name. 'Blase Glaze'.

Spiraling on the dancefloor
It was magical; this I thought.
I've never danced like this before.
We made everyone stop to watch this magical twist that moves to the rhythms that increased faster, to keep up with our pace on the dancefloor.

Stop! I muttered without breath.
No! He responded to me with his breath.
Someone is watching.
They must not know who I truly am and why I dance with you so.
Play along, I'll guide your feet to the beat. We must make a strong wind that will serve as a barricade to our foes.
He said whispering as I feel dizzy.
Everyone is watching I wonder who he speaks of.

Dante... Hells assassin is here.
He's in for the bounty.
The Bounty on Dale.
He strikes with no delay.
I must not fail Yale,
Even if she ends up not being Dale. She deserves to be safe.
She too has a role to play.

Blase Glaze thought to himself.

I felt a strange pull from the crowd, I felt the hairs on my skin rise and a bitter taste in my tongue. I panicked and let myself loose from his grip.
"What are you doing?
Don't let go of me. Maintain the barricade. Trust me, you are safe."

I don't know you
It appears I don't know me too.
I trust no one
Not even you.
Let go now, our feet have done quite enough dance for one lifetime.

*Oh, I've been made.
Now he's after me.
My enemy from the beginning ...*

You need me, Princess,
It's all useless to fight this process. It's time for you to gain access to the truth that lies behind your birth.
You are the key to finding the hidden weapon that will help us win this war. But for now, rest those feet princess.

He left me abruptly.
I staggered and almost fell when he caught me again.
Everything he said
wasn't clear,
Before I almost fell,
When he caught me again.

He leaned in and whispered.
"Be in your chamber before the stroke of midnight.
You will know when it's time to stare at the light. It won't be a  fright.

"Stop him! Cease the intruder
He's not one of us.
A daemon is amongst us.
Cease him and save the princes." Mother's scream jolted me back to the reality of my environ as I watched him run off in a quick flight.
Making the Guest fright.

Guards chased after him with such speed but he was too quick even for the knights of the kingdom.

Dante shimmers away
Just the way he came to chase after Blase Glaze
His enemy from the beginning.

Thundering footsteps from the king walking down from my west,
And the Queen's from my east played as a quest in my head.
Who will be first to meet the princess?

Father was the quickest.
He won the quest.
"Are you okay, did he hurt you in any way?"
He spoke tenderly to my hearing.
Still frozen in fear, my lips trembled, finding the strength to respond to my father the king winner of my quest.
Before the words came,
Mother the queen, stood before me holding me close in a tight embrace.
"I thought I've lost you my sweet, sweet daughter".

Releasing me from her embrace she didn't hesitate to interrogate her trembling princess.
" What did he say to you?
What did he want? Tell me, tell us."
She said holding me by my shoulders with a strong grip.

My head craned up to their gaze, My fear soon erased
I don't feel haze, I shot them a curious look as I let out the most burning question on my lip.
"Who am I?"

"Princess Yale, our young daughter of today, Humanity's future queen and my most loved treasure.
That's princess Yale, that is you. "
He said with a grin.

"Believe me when I say you are the most precious gift I have. An answer to a prayer I never made. Not even the demons of hell can ruin the joy you give me. Princess Yale" He added caressing my cheeks and looking straight at me, he didn't blink, paying no attention to the noise made by the people.

As sweet as the words
Of the king to his princess,
I wasn't bound to its sweetness.
As much as I searched his eyes
For a familiar place, a haven to my naked thoughts that exposed my fears and insecurities, I found no peace
in my father's gaze.

The King's bouquet is interrupted by the rude entrance of the Thirteen.
The circle of Kamlark's  Generals
Last surviving kingdom of humanity. They are the Thirteen.
He looks at their faces, he noticed the color of their capes, its scarlet instead of citrines.
The color of kamlark, Last of humanity.

"We must convene."
Said the oldest of the Thirteen.
The king Convinced, he attends to the call of the Thirteen.
"Let me join in." The princess insists.

"No!" Said the king to his precious gift.
"She's of age my liege.
She can come in with the Thirteen." Said another of the Thirteen.
"I will not expose her to the horrors of humanity.
She's still innocent. She must not enter in."
Said the king. She fell into the Queens' hands as she let out a tiny tear.
<It's Scarlet! Victory is almost here.>
The Queen grins silently.....

Laid on my bed by the orders of the Queen, I stayed still
In my pool of confusion.
Not for long, I feel a strange pull, This time really deep into the reins of my soul. This I've felt before.

Getting up from my bed,
I notice the silence.
Is too quiet; I thought to myself.

I walk to the door
I noticed strange shadows underneath the door.
Movements so new to me.
Gripped by fear, I hear tiny sounds of a struggle outside my door.

With nowhere to run,
Window too far high for me to jump, I'm left with two options that are not a guarantee to my safety.

Princess Yale,
Will you hide today, or will you draw your sword to fight away the man outside your door today?....
