Kagari's POV

I stared at her lifeless body in Megumi's arms.

Megumi, I feel like I know her from somewhere...

I can't remember much.. Not after the accident.

I remember being in the hospital. The beeping of the machines driving me insane. I never expected to feel so much pain. They said I would be fine. They said I'd forget everything from my life before the accident. Why can't I forget her. Aoi...the name is so familiar.. It kind of hurts.. AoiAki..AoiAki Megumi.....

Flashback

Aoi sat with her hand in mine. She whispered something and I couldn't really hear it. "I love you." She said. I blushed, thinking of what to say. "I love you too." I whispered, quietly. She gave me her signature smile and I kissed her on the cheek.

End Flashback

She was my best friend when we were younger, I was around the age of 5 or 6 and she was 5. It's funny to think we'd meet again, I thought I'd never see her after she moved. I'm sure she's moved on though, just the thought of that hurts alitle bit on the inside. I don't remember much, but I do remember how right it felt being with her. I'm glad to see her, even if she's bound to run away if she knows the real me.

"Aoiaki......" I whispered, barely able to hear it myself. She turned to look at me. "Kagari...." She said back. I think she remembers it too, but I don't quite know, but all that I do know is that she's here now and I won't let anyone take that away from me.
