After Christmas(Onety-Threety-Three)

Percy's POV
I could tell Luke was in a mood from the minute he woke up. Because the washing machine started shaking and spraying water everywhere. It was the day after Christmas, and I don't know what had gotten into him or why he was so crabby, but he just was.
The twins sensed it and made sure to steer clear of him that morning.
His anger didn't explode on me until after supper.
Ariana and the twins were arguing about who's Christmas presents were better, and Luke just sat silently, pushing his food around his plate. I noticed that his depression had been getting steadily worse over the past month and I had a feeling it had to do with Aiden.
I knew I had to bring it up, but I also knew that would not be a pleasant conversation.
After supper, I decided I'd better get it over with.
He was sitting on the couch, moodily scrolling through some social media page when I sat down next to him.
"So I talked to your therapist, Dr. Anderson this morning, and we've agreed--"
"Oh my gods, why can't you mind your own damn business!" He erupted.
"Excuse me, young man--"
"Well I feel like everyone's in my business and I'm sick of it! I wish you'd all just leave me alone!"
"Luke, we've agreed that your recent behavior is troublesome and that it most likely has something to do with the people you choose to hang out with, and--"
"Are you going to ridicule who I love now too? You know, I bet if I was straight, you wouldn't give a damn about who I date."
"Luke!" I gasped. "How can you even say that?"
He stood from that couch hastily and stormed to the front door, pulling on his shoes. "I'm going to Aiden's. Don't follow me. And don't wait up for me, I'll come home when I'm ready to."
I followed after him, worried. I raised my voice. "Luke Charles, you will not leave this house. You know how I feel about you going over there."
He scoffed, glaring, the door already open. "What are you gonna do, hit me?"
What got me the most was his tone. I stood there, gaping, not able to do a thing as he left, slamming the door behind him.

Luke's POV
I paced around Aiden's living room for a solid half hour while Aiden sat on the couch and watched me. I regretted what I said the second it was out of my mouth, but I knew I couldn't go back. Not yet. Maybe later, after we've both had time to cool down.
Aiden seems to have had enough of my pacing. "Have a drink, Luke. It'll calm your nerves. He fished in his pocket before popping the can of beer open. He handed it to me and I had it down in about four gulps.
Almost instantly the world seemed to blur around the edges. I felt better, careless. Another minute and I was feeling weak in the knees. The beer can slipped from my suddenly numb fingers.
"Whoa," I murmured, feeling like I was going to tip over. Aiden hurried over to catch me and hold me steady.
"Here, let me help you," he said, picking me up and setting me on his bed. It didn't even occur to me that I had to leave now. My mind was a bit too foggy to set off any alarm bells.
He climbed onto the bed and started kissing me. I kissed him back. I didn't really know what was happening, but hey, I'm always up for a make out session. But then he was taking my shirt off.
"Hey," I murmured through the frantic kissing. "Hey, no, stop."
He didn't stop. He started kissing down my neck and my vision blurred so dramatically that I couldn't even see Aiden clearly, even though he was straddling me. I don't remember much after that. Just flashes. And sensations. And how much I wanted it to stop.

When I woke up, sunlight was streaming through the window. But wait, the window's on the wrong side of the room. I looked around, starting to panic. I wasn't in my bedroom. I sat up, the sheets falling around my waist. I tried propping myself up, but my arms were weak and shaking so badly I fell back into the pillows.
I really started to panic when I realized I wasn't wearing any clothes. Hot tears formed in my eyes and I choked on a sob. Aiden was gone, probably at school. I laid there for as long as I dared trying to catch my breath and gather my strength.
I finally sat up again and managed to get out of the bed, though I stumbled and fell. I found my clothes in a pile on the floor and pulled on my pants. Looking in the mirror, I noticed hickeys on my neck and chest and bruises on my wrists.
I walked down the hall to the living room, catching myself on the wall before I could fall, and scooped up my phone from where I left it. 9 missed calls, both from my dad and Milo. I was reminded of Milo's message from a couple weeks ago.
Pls come home
I slide to my knees and wheeze, the crying hurts my chest so bad. I should've listened. I should've trusted Milo. I should've trusted my dad. They were only trying to look out for me, to make sure nothing like this ever happened.
I raise a shaking hand to wipe the tears falling from my eyes. I want my dad.
I force myself to stand and get out of that place. I walk as quickly as my legs will take me. When I arrive at my front step, I almost start crying again. But then I realize that I haven't really stopped.
I throw open the door, exhausted.
Dad's pacing the living room, wringing his hands, and his face lights up with relief upon seeing me.
"Luke! I was so worried! I'm sorry how we left things, I love you so much. And when Milo texted me that you weren't at school, I was so worried--"
I interrupted him, collapsing into his arms and sobbing. "Dad, I need help."
Dad was instantly in worried overload. "What happened? Are you okay?"
I shook my head no and he held me out at arms length, looking me over.
"Are you hurt?"
"I don't know. Yes. Yeah I think so."
"Where are you hurt?" Dad asked, eyes wide and frightened.
"I don't know," I sobbed. "Everything hurts." I was rubbing my sore wrists and my knees were starting to buckle and Dad helped me sit on the couch.
"Who--was it Aiden? Did he do this to you?"
I nodded, gasping and choking. "He got me drunk. Or...or something. He must have put something in it. I didn't--I think he raped me, Dad. No, I know he did."
All the color just drained from Dad's face and his lip trembled. He pulled me into a hug and held me close and I melted into the hug. I could almost feel his heart breaking right through his chest.
We sat there for a long time. After what felt like hours(and it probably was) Milo burst through the door, my brother and sisters behind him.
"Luke! Thank the gods you're here--" He stopped himself, seeing my condition. His nostrils flared and he looked like he was going to punch something.
"And the fucker was at school this morning. He's gonna get it."
Milo turned right around, intent on hunting Aiden down.
"Milo! Don't! You need to be careful!"
"I'll be careful, he better be careful," he grumbled, and he was gone.
"What happened?" Ariana whispered, horrified.
Dad shook his head and she frowned. "Love you, Luke," she said, before ushering the twins into the kitchen to get snacks.
That night, dad suggested I shower, so I did and then I crawled into bed. I was scared that Aiden would come back. He knows where I live. I was terrified, really, so Dad slept in my room that night.
I had nightmares all through the night.

Percy's POV
The next morning was a Saturday and I left Luke in Milo's care while I went to pay Reyna a visit. My eyes were red and bloodshot and my hair was a mess. I didn't sleep well last night. I was constantly waking Luke from nightmares and worrying a ton.
"Oh hey, Perce," Reyna greeted, opening her door, a cup of coffee in her hands. "What brings you--whoa, what happened to you?"
"Didn't sleep," I answered simply. She motioned me to follow her and we took a seat in her living room around the coffee table.
"I need you to take this to the senate. I have proof of a sex offender at the high school. He goes to Camp here."
Reyna's eyebrows knit and she sat up a little straighter. "What happened? How do you know this and what proof do you have?"
I decided to get right out with it. "Aiden Miller raped my son, Reyna."
Her eyes widened and she gasped. "How did this happen? I thought they were in a relationship?"
"They were. But he drugged Luke and took advantage of him. I'm thinking he was playing Luke from the beginning."
Reyna nodded, standing. "I'll go immediately. See what I can do to get a warrant for his arrest."
"He'll need a trial, right?"
"If he doesn't plead guilty. And he's no longer a juvenile. He'd go straight to the detention center in San Francisco."
I nodded, standing as well. Reyna was pulling on her jacket.
"I'll get on that. Let me know how else I can help. I feel so awful for Luke. Please let him know I'm praying for him."
"I will," I said, and she was out the door.
