Chapter Five

ELSA (THE SNOW QUEEN) P.O.V

It was all my fault her words still pound against my skull. If I had only kept my promise, my promise to protect them. But I didn't and its my fault Ariel is dead and Melody hates my guts.I don't blame her I hate my guts at the moment.

I stooded in the shadows watching the lights flash and the cops talking to Melody. My team had left so thet wouldn't get caught and blamed for this. I should leave to but I couldn't I just watched.Tears whelmed in my eyes getting my mask a little wet.

My breath hitched as they brought up the body of my dear friend. Coved in a pure white sheets as they did this the police made Melody turn away intill she was facing towards me. The thirty year old girl locked eyes with me.Nobody else seem to notice me but she did. Her eyes were bloodshot and her face was slightly red.

Melody held her head up curling a fist and wiping a tear. Slowly she held it up opening her palm so it was facing towards the sky. I let out a small quiet sob before repeating what she had done. This was our sign, the sign of the snowflakes. We used it as a secret password,  we did it to support one another,  to state we had to be strong, to show we were a team, and.....to forgive each other.

'I'm sorry," she mouthed, "I don't hate you."

I couldn't take it I wanted to rip out my hair. Melody slolwy left with the police when they were out of sight I bursted into sobs. Why did she forgive me I didn't deserve it. I pressed my back against the dock house thing I wasn't exactly sure what it was a bate shope maybe.

We had tracked down Melody and Ariel to be here at the river well umder it. Turns out there was a tunnel that lead to a room under water.Melody of course thought it was a basement. I ran my gloved hand threw my hair pushing back my bags that where falling out of my messy french braide.

"Well well isn't it the snow queen?" a voice hissed.

I looked over to see one of the nightmares there voice was familiar. The nightmare was obviously a guy. I could see threw his mask he had green eyes. His hair looked brown I wasn't sure thr color because it was dark.

The boy spoke clearly trying to hide his voice this was unusual all nightmares did this and many snowflakes did the same. Expecially Merida there wasn't many with her accent so she disguise it. I smirked at this nightmare my eyes filled with hate he did this.Well not technically him but his people.

"Listen im not in the mood for a fight I just lost someone very important to me!" I snapped, "So would you please leave me alone."

He seemes surprised,  "Why should I when I could kill you now?"

"We both know that you can't," I smirked, "Let the snow fall."

And with that I did what I did what I usually did I disappeared.

ANNA P.O.V

I sat at home Mavis sat next to me while Jack and Kristoff sat on the other couch. It was late and we decided to have a movie night thing. It was dark and I couldn't help but worry Elsa wasn't home yet she even missed school. MISSED SCHOOL Elsa barely missed school like ever. And when she did she told me she wasn't going.

I played with my figures a habit of mine. What if she was in trouble? What of she was kidnapped? Or raped or attacked or eaten by a zombie.  "Very unlikely Anna," Kristoff said. I spoke that out loud? "Yes you did."

Oh my I did it again!, "Don't worry im sur Ellas fine," Mavis assures me.

"Its Elsa!" A voice hissed.

I turned to look at my sister Elsa she looked terrible her eyes were red a puffy hair was falling out of her bun. Her glasses were crooked and her clothes were dirty. "Elsa what happen," I hopped up and took a step towards her.

She stepped back, "Nothing im just.....sick," I knew she was lying. I stepped towards her again she held up a hand I noticed she was wearing pure white gloves she always wore them during the winter Why I wasn't sure? Maybe she didn't like her hands cold or something.

"Where were you?" I demanded.

She clinched her black book bag closer to her. I always wondered what she truly hid in there. "I was out for a walk."

I raised a eyebrow, "Why were not at school?"

"Sick,"

"If your sick why were you outside it freezing cold!" I said.

She groaned,  "The cold doesn't bother me!" Okay so wearing the gloves to keep her hands warm is a no no. "Listen Anna im going to sleep school night, don't stay up two late goes for all of your friends Night."

"Night," I sighed, "Love you!"

She flinched giving me a small smile, "Love you to," she then rushed upstairs.

I sighed again taking a seat next to Mavis she lightly patted my back. Jack laughed I shot him a glare, "What so funny?" I hissed.

"Nothing its just your sisters-" he paused.

"Weird? Secretive? A Bitch? Liar? Cold Hearted?" Kristoff suggested.

"Interesting," Jack said.

I was surprised a bit by his answer but was thankful. All the things Kristoff suggested were things I expected. Elsa was those things but I knew it wasn't really her at least I hope it wasn't. She was my sister and I loved her no matter how she acted.

She was my only family left besides for relatives. I sighed slightly just as the door bursted open Hiccup rushed in.His face was read from my guess running. We raised a eyebrow as he started gasping.

"Th-e Sn-now Q-queen!" he gasped.

"Spit it out!" I whisper/yelled so Elsa didn't hear.

"I ran into her," he says.

I went over to him grasping his shoulder shaking him, "Did you kill her!" I asked hope filled me.

If she was gone then so would all this trouble all the death. Hiccup frowned,  "She said I couldn't kill her and I knew it, then she said, 'Let the snow fall' and disappeared!"

Jack growned, "Just wonderful you let the bitch get away!"

"I was alone I couldn't kill her and you know it!" Hiccup hissed, "And besides what our leaders say was right, The snow queen is up to her old wicked games again!"

"What game?" Kristoff demand.

"Shes killing," my breath hitched at Hiccups words, "She murder Ariel Triton infront of her own daughters eyes."

I covered my mouth, "She has to be stopped!" I exclaimed, "We have to find her and the only way to do that is to find her and the snowflakes headquarters!"

"We tried that before she never leaves any clue or trace to where it might be!" Jack reminded.

"Well she did this time," Mavis smirked, "You said she killed Ariel Triton?"

"Yes," says Hiccup, "But she left no evidence it was her or her snowflakes!"

"She didn't leave evidence but she did leave a Witness," Mavis tells us, "Melody Triton."
