The next day, Teja woke up and see her phone. The battery was on 5% only. "Oh shit!" - she quickly puts it on charge and releases a sigh. She gets off the bed and stretches herself. She takes her towel and was about to go to the bathroom but her phone rings. She takes her phone and saw Adaa's name.

"Good morning, bestie!" - said Teja as she attends the call. "What the hell, Teju? What the hell are you doing?" - Adaa shouts in the phone. Teja pulls away her phone from her ear and massages her ear. She looks at the phone and puts back at her ear but maintained a distance. "Arrey, kya hua? Subeh subeh kyun tum chill la ri ho?" - asked Teja being irritated and confused at the same time.

"Are you fucking my brother-in-law all these while?" - asked Adaa and Teja was shocked. "Adaa, what are you talking about?" - Teja asked her back. "I'm asking are you sleeping and fucking my brother-in-law, Karan Kundrra?" - Adaa was clear and loud this time. "Adaa, I can explain you. Give me a chance. Don't be angry." - said Teja holding her head.

"Meeting you at Rift Cafe in 30 minutes!" - Adaa said and hung the call before Teja could reply her. "What the heck just happened?!" - Teja was hell shocked and confused as in how her best friend got to know about it.

Teja reached the place where Adaa mentioned. She entered the cafe and saw Adaa at the back corner. Adaa notices her and avoids eye contact with her. Teja went to her and sat in front of her. "Adaa.." - Teja was cut off in the middle as a waiter came there.

"Orders?" - he asked. "Do chai and a set of french toast." - Adaa ordered for both of them. Teja smiled as Adaa knows she likes french toast with chai. The waiter nods at them and left from there. "Teju, why did you hide this from me?" - asked Adaa straightaway. "Adaa, first tell me how you find this out?" - Teja asked her.

"Yesterday, I came to your cabin in the hospital but you went for rounds. That time your phone rang and a notification as well. I took your phone and saw "Partner" with love emoji. I was curious as in like you are in relationship. I went through your chat with him as in like from the top till bottom. I'm sorry for going through your phone without your permission." - said Adaa.

"Are you mad? You have all rights to go through my phone." - said Teja. "Tell me, Teju. How long this is going on? Are you really in relationship with him or is this just.." "Just sex, Adaa. We are together to pleasure each other. No other commitments!" - said Teja. "And you are proud of it?" - Adaa asked Teja in disappointed manner.

The waiter came with their order and placed them on the table. He left and Teja takes her chai. "Not proud but happy!" - said Teja sipping her chai. "Teju, I'm serious!" "Me too! And Karan seems serious as well in this no commitment relationship!" - said Teja.

"But.." - Adaa was still not happy with it. "Adaa, trust me. None of our family will get to know it. Is it wrong to have sex to pleasure ourselves? Or is this because we are not in a proper relationship? Or is this because he is your family and I'm just your friend?" - Teja asked and received a slap in return.

Teja was shocked. It was not hard and loud but still a bit painful for Teja. Teja drops her french toast and the plate again and looks up at Adaa. "Have you lost it? Karan just became my family as I'm engaged to his younger brother. You are my family from the age of six. How dare you to think that I'll think of you like that?" - Adaa had tears in her eyes.

"Adaa, I'm sorry.." - Teja couldn't finish her lines as Adaa took her belongings and get off the seat. "Will meet you in the hospital." - said Adaa and left from the cafe after paying the bill. Teja hits the table and winces in pain. She holds her head and looks at her phone which rings. It was Karan. "Ahh, I hate you!" - she said looking at the called ID and she ignores it.

Flashback starts :-

It's the same cafe where did TejRan met the next day after the engagement party. They were sipping their coffees not to know what to talk. Teja had to break the silence. "We will not do in your house nor in my apartment." - said Teja. "I'm okay with moving in with you to a new apartment." - Karan said putting his coffee cup.

Teja was impressed. "That's what I was coming to tell you. I don't want anyone to know about it including Adaa." - Karan nods at her. "So, maybe tonight at hotel?" - asked Teja. "It'll be complicated to do this in places like hotels and I hope you know why. Let's wait until we find an apartment." - said Karan. Teja was impressed and nods at him.

Then, they looks for apartments together. They found one after 3 days. Teja vacates her own apartment and moved in with him. Karan informed his family that he wanted to stay with his friend for some months for which his parents thinks he's going to stay with his girlfriend and they are happy as he had found someone for himself.

On the night, they moved in Karan is seen talking in the phone sitting in the couch and Teja just came in from hospital as she went for an emergency. She falls on the bed being tired. Karan saw her and cuts the call. He locks the door and came towards her.

She is laying on the bed as in like her back facing the ceiling. She is wearing a formal shirt and slack pants. He sides her hair and kisses her earlobe. That sends shiver to her spine. She opens her eyes and turns to face him. They were an inch apart. They looks at each other. They smashes their lips upon each other's.
