"So you have seen the movie?" Teja cleared her throat. He was clearly going into his zone and that was the last thing she would let happen.

"Which movie?" He composed his voice and looked at her.

"The greatest showman...." She said looking at him with concentration. She wanted to read each and every expression of his.

"Oh yeah...." He realised that she was talking about the movie in which the song was there.

"Chal Kundri everyone is dancing...." She gor up trying to lighten up the mood.

"You remember worst dancer of the country?" He raised his brows.

"Even Umar and Rajeev are dancing....chal nuh...." She pulled him and went to where everyone was dancing.

Karan tried to do some random steps and Teja joined with her crazy energetic moves.

But his concentration was on her. Everytime someone was about to bump into her because the dance floor was crowded , he would guard her smoothly by coming between her and the person without touching her.

Teja had noticed it all. Noticed it in BB and now as well. She didn't really know what to feel about it. It was all complicated and messed up.

Karan wanted to go aside and sit because he was tired with the day's work but was not being able to leave Teja there on the dance floor for some reason. It was not that he was with her everywhere he went infact quite the opposite. He was never with her. But now that he was there he felt she was his responsibility. Without having any rights actually. He chuckled at himself mentally.

"Kundri i will come after drinking some water...." She told him and went to the bar and asked for a mineral water bottle.

He followed her and sat down beside her?

"What happened?why did you come?" She asked after taking a sip of water.

"I wanted to come and sit since a long time...." He chuckled.

"Then why didn't you come?" Before she could stop herself , she had asked it out loud. The answer was known to her.

"Nothing...." He muttered.

"We literally shoot in the same film city but you never came to meet me even once Kundri...." She looked at him.

He drew patterns on the bar counter.

"I thought you would be busy...." He said with a smile.

"Really?that is what your excuse is?" She asked raising her brows. "I thought we were friends...."

"We were...." He said immediately. "And you know that...."

"Were?and we aren't now?" She asked looking at him.

"Yeah we are....we don't need to meet our friends everyday to keep the friendship going right?it is more about what you feel about the friendship....it is in the heart...." He said finally looking at her.

"Makes sense....but you never called me also....no messages nothing....is that what you did with Umar as well?akasa vidhi and rajeev i am not asking because you knew them from before...." She asked frowning.

"Why didn't you ever call or text or come to meet me?" He raised his brows accusingly. "You yourself didn't do it and you are questioning me?" He rolled his eyes.

"Cool give me your number....tujhse nahi hoga...." She took out her phone from her sling bag and he shook his head hopelessly and told her the number.

"I am calling you....save my number...." With that she dialled the number.

He chuckled silently.

The phone was on the bar counter. And the screen started to flash as her call came.

Laddoo calling flashed on the screen.

To say that Teja was taken aback would be an understatement. She slowly put the phone down from her ear. He was again drawing patterns on the bar counter.

"You had my number?" She asked in shock.

He shrugged.

"And you still call me laddoo?" She asked frowning.

"If you can still call me Kundri why can't i call you laddoo?" He asked looking at her.

"Why didn't you call me?or message me?what is wrong with you?" She asked getting exasperated.

He prefered to stay quiet.

"I'll have to leave...." She got up and took her bag. He looked at her immediately.

"Even i'll have to get going....i have an early morning call time...." He said getting up and she nodded.

They went to Rajeev and wished him again , met everyone and went to the parking.

She dialled her driver and he stood beside her with his hands in his pockets.

"Laddoo?" He said looking at her.

"Hmm?" She hummed as she put her phone in her ear.

"Should I drop you?" He asked slowly. He had contemplated about whether to ask this or not since the time they had walked out of the bar counter. Ideally he shouldn't have been asking this. Because she had her driver and car and he was a freaking nobody to drop her despite having her car there.

But he had no idea when he would meet her next. The temptation of having a few more minutes with her was real.

She looked at him as he said it. He was not looking into her eyes at all.

"Haan dada....aap car leke ghar chale jaao...." She said looking at him.

Karan licked his lips and sighed in relief. So she has not taken him in a wrong way. For some strange reason his heartbeats have gone up.

She disconnected the call and put the phone in her sling bag. She never in her right sense of mind would have said yes to him. But something in her was too greedy to let that pass. She would get to spend a few more moments with him. It has been four months already and may be this time would give her the strength to go ahead for another four months if not more. A part of her logical brain kept sending her warning signals. She had her car and accepting his offer of dropping her might give away her feelings to him. He might end up guessing it. But for this one night she was ready to shut that part of her brain off.

She could atleast get a feeling of what she could never feel whole of. With him. Because some dreams were too good to be true and he was one of those forbidden dreams.

"Come...." He said softly and walked to his car.

"Kundri you brought your friend with you....how can you leave her here and go?" She frowned as soon as he opened the door of the passenger seat for her.
