He looked asleep but was moving his head restlessly and his lips were moving.

She bend down bringing her ear close to his lips and gulped immediately. He was taking her name. His ex's name.

She immediately felt her chest getting heavy and her eyes brimming with tears.

He is sleeping i guess. Should i leave?but he is not looking fine. He is seeming to be restless.

She knew it was not the time to be selfish and think about herself. Ideally she would have gone out at once after hearing him take her name but something told her not to do it.

"Karan you okay...." She said awkwardly and held his arm to catch his attention. And the moment she touched him her eyes widened in shock.

He was burning with fever.

"Shit ise toh bohut fever hai...." She said with panic in her voice and immediately reached out for her phone.

Everyone must be asleep. Should i call Wahi?he must be sleeping. Should I call someone from the production?

They had reached the hotel late and everyone had decided not to meet again and that they would go to sleep.

To say that she was panicked would be an understatement.

She quickly took one of his handkerchief from his luggage that was kept open and filled a mug with cold water. She dipped the handkerchief in the mug and put it on his forehead.

"Mumma....mumma...." He muttered.

She looked at him helplessly as he moved restlessly with a frown on his forehead.

"Relax...." She caressed his hair awkwardly.

And then he again took her name and his breathing suddenly got heavy.

She let out a deep sigh as tears dropped her cheeks. It hurt. Everytime he took her name it hurt.

She kept the wet cloth on his forehead for half an hour and the temperature had dropped down a bit.

"Karan...." She shook him a bit.

He opened his drowsy eyes.

"Karan you need to have some food and then the medicine...." She said wiping her tears.

He nodded a bit and she held his shoulder and helped him sit up.

He sat keeping his back rested against the head board , his eyes still drowsy.

She quickly kept the mug of water away and gave him a few biscuits.

"Karan have it...." She said and poured water in a glass and opened a tablet.

He had a couple of biscuits.

She sat in front of him and made him take a sip of the water and the swallow the tablet.

"Sleep okay...." She said after making him lay down and covered him with a blanket.

She was about to go and switch off the lights when he held her hand and blinked a few times. His eyes were heavy.

"Don't go...." He muttered and pulled her hand.

She stared at him for a couple of seconds. She didn't know what was happening. A few moments back he was taking his ex's name and now he is stopping her.

"Teja please don't leave me...." He gulped and struggled to keep his eyes open. He wanted to sleep but was scared that she would leave.

"I am here okay?sleep...." She said gulping the lump in her throat.

He smiled a bit and gulped his saliva again and closed his eyes. He drifted off to sleep in no time and Teja sat beside him leaning on the headboard.

He opened his eyes and found it was morning as he could see the day light through the window and then found Teja sitting beside him with her eyes closed , leaning on the headboard.

He sat up and remembered last night. He sighed looking at her.

"Teju you will have a neck sprain...." He patted her cheeks softly and she jolted up.

"Are you fine....fever?" She immediately touched his forehead and relaxed to find his body temperature to be normal.

"I am good....thanks...." He said softly and she smiled softly.

And then it suddenly hit her. Last night. Him taking her name subconsciously.

"Umm....i'll freshen up and meet you downstairs...." She said moving back a bit and got up.

He frowned immediately.

This is not how she behaves in the morning. May be because she is thinking i am not well.

He nodded.

"Take rest if you want....they want to go for ice skating and skiing and then we will leave for Lucerne....you can skip the ice skating and sking if you want...." She said not meeting his eyes.

"No i am good....i want to go....too exciting to be missed...." He said looking at her face carefully. Something didn't feel good. Something was wrong with her for sure.

She nodded and took her phone.

"I will message the production team about your fever....they will look after it....i mean you need a doctor...." She said without looking at him.

"I don't need any doctor....it is a normal fever and it is already down....agar firse hua toh we will see....and listen are you okay?you seem to be disturbed...." He said while geting up.

"Okay then....see you...." She went out of the room.

"Arrey....what the hell is wrong with her...." He muttered with a frown and decided to get ready first.

They got ready and did their breakfast and went for skiing and ice skating. Throughout the time Teja had ignored him.

They had fun in the snow as they fell down several times while skiing. He looked at her laughing and giggling as she kept falling.

He had no interest to do anything. All his excitement was long gone as he figured out that she was ignoring him. His insides burnt seeing her laugh with the other guys and it was not him.

She is not having fun with me. She is not laughing with me.

They went back to their hotel and had lunch and left for Lucerne. And she had not sat beside him in the bus. She had gone behind and sat with Aneri.

This is it. How dare she?what the hell is wrong with her?

He had huffed angrily and slept throughout the bus ride.

They reached Lucerne late in the afternoon and checked into their hotel.

He freshened up in his room and went to her room and rang the bell.

She knew that it was him.

She opened the door and looked at him blankly.

He held her shoulder and went inside , taking her inside in the process and locked the room.

"What the hell is your problem?why are you acting so strange since the morning?" He asked angrily. His patience has worn off.

"Nothing...." She was about to go away when he held her by her shoulder and jerked her back in front of him.

"Tell me Teja....do not test my patience...." He said angrily looking into her eyes.

"Karan leave me...." She said firmly. "Enough of this....why the hell are you doing this if you still feel for your ex?yes i agree that i started off having a crush on you but did i ask you to revert it?what were you doing exactly?showing sympathy on me?" She said as tears poured down her cheeks as she shook in anger.

"Feel for my ex?that is what you think?after everything i told you that night after we saw her?" He was shocked beyond wits.

"You were taking her name subconsciously while you had fever...." She said looking into his eyes.

He chuckled bitterly and left her.

"That's what you think?then it's better this way...." He said bitterly and walked out and banged the door shut behind him.

"Every freaking person is the same...." He muttered and wiped his tears frantically.
