You hugged Derek as he had his hand in the door. He was going to hunt Kate down. But,he didn't want you to go with him,you were human. And he didn't want to take the chance of actually finding Kate only to have her kill you.
"Why do you have to go?"

"She needs to pay for everything she has done(Y/N)"

You kept quite,smiling,not wanting to seem selfish by telling him not to go
"If you die I'm killing you and her."

Derek laughed
"Got it,don't die."

Derek closes the car door
"I'm afraid of loosing you."

Ans with that,Derek drove off.
