Chapter Three: Fish Out Of Water

{ELSA P.O.V}

I slumped into my chair setting down my tray that held a water, chocolate cake, cookie, and a apple. Rapunzel looked up from her phone and gave me a small smile. On her tray was salad and orange juice.

Taking a bite of my cake I asked, "Wheres Merida?"

"She right 'ere," Merida says sitting down next to Rapunzel.

Her tray was stacked with what I was almost positive was everything the school had to offer. She shoved half a piece of pizza in her mouth before taking a gulp of her soda. Rapunzel sighed shaking her head.

"I don't get how you can eat that," Punz says.

"Not every one can live of salads, and energy bars," Mer replied, "Speaking of salads are ye gonna eat yers?"

Rapunzel sighed rolling her eyes pushing her salad towards the redhead, "How are you still one size bigger than me, I mean seriously with how much you eat."

"What can aye say im a hungery woman," Merida says drowning her salad in ranch.

"Well obviously you don't fit the lady category very well, chew with your mouth closed, and slow down you food isn't gonna grow legs and run off," Rapunzel pointed.

"Trust me if it could, it wouldn't get far," Mer tells us as she digs into her salad.

"Uh huh, " Punz nodded rolling her eyes then looking at me, "No luck on this husband of yours?"

I shook my head no, Merida frowned,  "Sucks ay was lookin forward ta meetin' this unlucky groom of yers."

I glared at her hard, "Why am I friends with you?"

"Oh, because ye love me, and aye mean who wouldn't wanna be friends with this," she jesters to herself pushing her empty tray in the middle of the red table.

I raised my eyebrow at her. How did she eat all that? I opened my mouth but was cut off by a football player walking to talk to Merida. The talked quickly going over some plays. Onces the guy left Merida looked at me.

"Ay have football practice after school, the coach wants to get us more practice before the season," Merida goans, "Think ye can pick me up Elsie last thing ay need is my mum to do it and complain about how ay smell like sweat, then about how girls shouldn't run around in shoulder pads and blah, blah."

"Sure then we can go to The Lucky Cat Cafe, Punz would you like to come?" I asked.

Her eyes looked from her phone, "I can't i've got...a date...with Eugene..after school."

They way she spoke made me believe she was lying but I brushed it off. What did Rapunzel have to lie about anyway? My eyes scanned the cafeteria just then a fourteen year old freshman hoped to my table.

It was Anna she had her hair in her pigtail braids. She wore a blue skirt that fell about mid thigh, boots, and a shirt that was black with small designs and tealish long sleeves. She smiled happily, which was odd when I was a freshman it took the first two class and my spirit was broken.

I was a nerd yes but I didn't like school. My whole middle school year I was excited on going to high school. Only it was when I got there I realized my life was gonna get even more complicated.

"Elsie!" She says jumping.

"What is it Anna?" I asked.

"Oh nothing I was just wondering how your day was going," she tells me.

"Swell," I answered, "Now whats the real reason?"

"Okay so I was wondering if you could drive me and my friends to the mall after school?" She begged slightly, "I'll have Mavis dad pick us up after pleases,"

"Fine but you be by the car 2:40 no later or Ill leave you," it was a lie I wouldn't leave her but she didn't know that.d

She smiled hoping off once she was out of sight Merida bursted into a laughter. I narrowed my eyes warning her to stop but she didn't, "How are ye two related anyway?" She asked, "Aye mean ye like complete opposites."

I rolled my eyes for like the thousandth time today. I reached to grab my water but my hand froze as I looked at the ring. My stomach felt sick and I felt the slightest bit of fear. What would my family think?

Was I even gonna tell them? Of course...Not. They'd kill me, well actually I didn't really know what they'd do I mean I never been in big trouble before. Anna has of course but not get married to a stranger after getting drunk at a highschool party and wake up with no memory trouble.

Who ever gets in that trouble?

I must have asked the question out loud because Merida answered, "Well that guy from The Hangover did, are you gona eat that apple?"

"Merida thats a movie and weren't they like drugged or something?"My eyes widen and I handed Merida the apple, "Oh no what if I was drugged!?"

"You weren't drugged," Rapunzel assured.

I sure hope not...

{MERIDA P.O.V}

I fell to the ground taking in a deep breath of the warm humid air around me. Sweet dripped down my forehead and I was sure my face was red. All I wanted to do was go to bed but I knew I couldn't coach wouldn't let me.

"DunBroch! Up! Everyone two laps around the field then back here for push ups!" Coach Eric yelled.

There was a course of groans, a hand reached down I grabbed it letting the person pull me to my feet. It was Peter one of the running backs. "Come one lets go, you know that Eric doesn't like repeating."

I nodded and started to run after the others, I loved football but I hated practice and being quarterback,  most of the time. As I ran I noticed the pain in my stomach increase and I felt slightly dizzy.

Maybe I did eat to much?

I stopped running holding my head, "What do you think your doing? DunBroch it isn't break time, Run!" I wanted to strangle that man.

Quickly I started to run again, Shake it off Merida you just ate to much, Great now I sound like Taylor Swift! That people is how I got that song I hate so dearly but Rapunzel loves stuck in my head the rest of the day.

After push ups, I went and grabbed myself some water from the water boy...well girl.  Ariel Triton, she had volunteered to be water girl  for the last two years. The only reason she had a crush on the couch.

He wasn't much older that her about three years, he was a college student. He'd volunteer to be our coached after our old one was arrested for drunk driving. Taking two cups I drank open and poured the other over my head.

I fell into sitting position on the bench, Ariel gave me a worried glances, "Merida how you feeling?" She asked.

"Nothin just slightly dizzy, and me stomach hurts aye think aye ate way to much durin lunch," I answered, "Plus Its been a whole summer since we had practice, so how ye been?"

Me and Ariel weren't exactly friend we only knew each other because we were some of the only redheads in school. Me, Ariel, Peter, Robin, and a few others were the only. Freshman year we were grouped by hair color for some kind of project and started talking a bit.

"Good I guess,  high school is just a lot you know, teenage drama, sometimes I feel like a fish out of water you know," she tells me.

I looked out at my team mates, I didn't real ever feel like that. Only every once in a while when i'm with a group of gossiping girls which is rare. Most of the time i'm in the place I know I belong.

"Ya sure," I shrugged.

"Practice is over!" Eric yelled.

I cheered, "See ye 'round Ariel."

"Yah you to, if you need someone to talk to you, about you know im here," she says jestering to me.

Was she judging my appearance? "Excuse me?" I frowned.

"Oh thats not what I was talking about, I ment the baby!" She says.

My eyes widen, "BABY!" I glared, "Aye am not pregnant, gurl sorr' ta disappointed ye."

Angerily I stomped off, "Wait Mer, im sorry I just assumed with feeling sick and you gained some weight since I seen you." I shot her another glare her eyes widen, "Not that your fat or anything I mean your weight is fine I just-"

"Ariel shut up!" I exclaimed marching to the girls locker room.

It was empty I was the only girl on the football team and nobody elses was practicing. I pulled off my jersey and equipment slumping down of the red bench. Kicking off my shoe and pants. Tacking out some basket ball shorts and a red tshirt from my gym locker I paused looking in the mirror.

My faces was slightly red from anger and all the running. I looked at my stomach was I fat? GREAT! Now I sound like thoses stupid cheerleaders sorry Punzie. Getting dressed I pulled my hair up in a ponytail it was still wet from the water.

My phone vibrated I looked at the message I had got from Elsa, Im in the parking lot are you ready yet?!

I replied with a simple yes grabbing my stuff and leaving the locker room quickly. Not only do I feel terrible but now I supposedly look pregnant just great whats nexts!?

Could this day get any worses?! Spoke to soon.

{JACK FROST P.O.V}

I shoved Hiccup as we walked passed the girls locker room. I just got out of detention yes on the first day turns out teachers don't find super gluing there glasses on the faces funny. Just as Hiccup stumbled he crashed into the person walking out of the room.

"Im so sor- oh its you," Hiccup says getting up.A red faced redhead got up and slapped him across the faces. "Ow! What the hell was that for!"

"Existing!" She hissed.

She stomped down on his foot his only good one, "Ow your little bi-,"

"Okay calm down," I said.

"Shut it Kindergar-line before aye cut off ye fingers and replace them with ye toes,"

"Oh im so scared," I replied sarcastically.

She raised her fist and punched my shoulder. I rubbed my shoulder, "Ow frizzy you got good punch."

"Th-" she stopped staring at my hand wide eyed her anger expression turning to a smirk. She grabbed my hand pulling off the ring quickly.

"Hey give that back!" I demand.

She looks at me up and down, "Jackson Frost ay? Behold the unlucky groom, who gets married ta a stranger anyway?"

"Oh you...,"
