Chapter Seven: Water Buckets & Poison Apples

(ELSA P.O.V)

Anna sat across from me as we sat in a small restaurant eating dinner. Like we did every Friday night. Our adoptive parents were busy with work a lot, so we spent a lot of quiet time together. Just sitting near one another in silence.

It wasn't a comfortable silence but it wasn't awkward. It was emotionless most of the time, but sometimes simply sad. Sitting there just us the only two left of our family. Remembering the dinners we would sit with our real parents eating whatever it was we whipped up that day.

Smiling and laughing for no reason. We hadn't been like thoses families who sat asking how each others day was. Or the family who talked about what we learned. No we were different. Instead we would sit down fill our plates with food.

We would then say some ridiculous modo or something my father would say.'The grass is alway greener on the other side,' or 'The past is in the past' small things like that random most of the time.

After that we'd play some game, sing songs, or reenact some movie or play. It was fun, it helped us forget our problems. It help us smile. I'd be crazy if I said I didn't miss thoses days. If I didn't miss parents.

I stabbed into my chocolate cake which the waitress brought to us while I was remembering. Thats all I can do really. Remember. Closing my eyes I listen to Anna as she texted away on her phone quietly.

Unsure of how to exactly make this dinner less depressing and more enjoyful I kept quiet pulling out my own phone. I had two texts one from Rapunzel which read: Parents smothering me, and Eugene still ignoring me.

Her boyfriend Eugene Rider, was nices but still a asshole. Well all boys fell into the asshole/jackass category but still. They'd been dating for about four months. Which was shocking sinces nobody thought Eugene Rider would date someone for so long.

It was a surprises he even asked Punzs out, he was more into Burnettes, which Rapunzel was clearly not. However she was on the cheerleading team and completely gorgeous, he'd be crazy not to like her.

Eugene had been going through his stage again, the period in time were he ignored my gorgeous blonde friend and pretty much ever other soul. He went through this stage a couple times a month. It was kind of like hes PMSing except every few weeks for over three to four days. Oh and instead of being a bitch like many girls or a mass murder like Merida, he was a distant dick.

Which had earned him the nickname DD that Merida so kindly created. Replying with a simple: He will come around and if he doesn't Merida will get him.

The next texts was from the one and only Merida: u remember the movie The Wizard of Oz?

I replied with a small: Yah y?

Just then Rapunzel replied: Lol u r right he will, but just in cases keep Mer on speed dial

I replied: Don't worry I will

Merida: Well remember how Dorthy throw water over the witch & she melted?

Me: yes

Merida: well I've spilled water over Ast-witch twices & shes still here! 1 more word put of her mouth & u will be visiting me in jail!!!

I rolled my eyes and chuckled: The wicked witch has returned, get ur touchs and will watch her burn!!!

Astrid was Meridas twin sister, not much of resemblance but there eyes were pretty close. Merida hated Astrid for many reasons manly because Astrid was the favorite. Although they bother were tough girls Astrid was more of the listener and kiss up were as to Merida wasn't either.

Astrid was on her family side while Merida was on her own side. Merida: Good idea I'll add that to my how 2 get rid of annoying sibling book, g2g mother is making me help clear dinner table, living with a witch and a bitch makes me want to die in a ditch. Bye

Me: Bye

Rapunzel: Do u think hes cheating on me

Me: No way this is Eugene, he might have a past of playing girls but never a cheater and besides hes totally in 2 u

Rapunzel: ur right, talk 2 u lates

Me: kk

Id put my phone back in my pocket only to look up to see Anna had stolen my cake and ate it. "Seriously," I frowned.

"You were texting and it was calling me!" She exclaimed.

Rolling my eyes I waited for the check while Anna finished gulping down her drink. After I payed Anna hopped up and ran past me quick to get to the car. Signing I gathered my things and started to the door pausing as my eyes met a familiar pare of blue.

My mouth went dry and I couldn't breathe as I felt a memory creeping up in my mind. *Lights flashed brightly and the loud music blared shaking the house. Merida stood next to me looking rather stunning for a tomboy, even in her plain green shirt with a bear on it and jean shorts.

It was obvious she was drunk not enough though because she wasn't sputtering her words. Rapunzel walked up her faces red with anger. I took a drink of my red cup trying to ignore how sick it made me.

Rapunzel started to shout drawing attention only I couldn't seem to hear or understand what she was saying. Merida then took a drink of her cup as if proving a point of something, she then said something grabbing my arm and pulling me somewhere.

We ended up outside. There is were she pulled me up to a group of five boys whos faces I couldn't make out because It all became to blurry. Suddenly I felt like I was going to fall but before I did a blurry boy caught me and I looked up to see blue eyes-*

"Hey you okay?" The boy asked, "you look like you might fate, or throw up."

I shook my head allowing the world to go back into focus. A boy with white hair and blue eyes stood in front of me. He was in a blue hoody and rather good looking. I must have been staring to long because the boy cleared his throat.

"Listen I know im sexy but your staring is kinda keeping me out,"

That made me glare, yet another full of himself boy, "Don't flatter yourself, I was trying to see if I know you from somewhere you look familiar."

"We haven't met before trust me I would have remembered," he winked.

"Is that one of your pickup lines? Seriously I was expecting better," I said.

He smirked, looking me up and down, "Pleases fairy princess I only uses my best pick uplines for thoses who don't look like they jumped out of a kids fairytale book."

I frowned id been called many things but never a fairy princess, "Thats only because the only girls who fall for your pickup lines are the onces who can't even read a kids book."

"Oh, look like I was wrong definitely not a princess more like the evil step mother or better yet the evil queen."

Glarring I huffed and marched outside to were Anna stood patiently by my locked car. Just before we climbed in the white haired boy yelled put to us, "Hey braids whatever you do don't eat any apples she gives you!" He said this directed to Anna.

That night I went to bed annoyed right after I took the bowl of apples from the counter and shoved them in the cabinet under the sink. Evil Queen, ha! If this was a fairytale id already would have turned him into a toad.

ASTRID (P.O.V)

I watched my sister as she cleaned the large water spill on the floor. Everyone had set off to bed, leaving only us. Merida murmured curse words as she mopped up the floor. It been a long time sinces I seen her.

I left three years ago to go live with our aunt and uncle so I could attend a special boarding school. I only visited holidays, and usually Merida wasn't there, busy with other things. When she was there however we argued and fought over stupid things.

I wasn't sure why we didn't like each other. We used to be inseparable. "I could help you if you want," I offered.

"Ay don't need yer help," even though she spoke clearly I could tell by the way her eyes glared in my eyes that she ment something elses. That something being 'I don't need you!'

Sighing I hopped up onto the kitchen island, crossing my legs I said, "Hey is that places we used to go training still here?"

As children we went to learn sword fighting, archery and other things when father was to busy to train us.

She started to put the mop away, "No, the owner died about a year ago, the building still there but its been untouched sinces."

I frowned, "Oh," we entered a awkward silence. Merida then went to refrigerator and got a soda opening it and taking a big drink, "So what you be-"

"Stop," she said loudly causing me to jump, "Listen Astrid lets get somethin straight, ay want ye as much out of my life as possible just as ye want me, so lets make ah deal, and pretend that each other doesn't exist, it make everythin easier."

She walked past me towards the back glass doors that lead outside to the pool. Hopping off the counter, I followed her, "I never said I didn't want you in my life!"

She kept her back turned to me and ignored my comment. Slowly she went to the pool and sitting on the edge her legs in the blue water. I did the same only I layed back looking up at the stars. My lips parted letting out a sigh.

It felt weird being here again, after so long of being gone. Although I did visit of holidays, and bits of vacation, it was odd. Closing my eyes I let some memories of being out here as a child with Merida sword fighting.

"Remember that time we fell in the pull will sword fighting at mothers baby shower of the twins?" I asked unsure she'd reply.

"Yah, mum was furious when we came inside our matching yellow dress soaked alomg with our hair and shoes coated with mud which we tracked through the houses alomg with water," she laught softly.

"Yah she looked like a tomato, expecially when dad came in and slipped on our water trail with a cake she'd made for everyone," I smiled missing those times.

"What about it?" Merida asked.

"Huh...oh nothing I just remembering childhood," I replied.

Opening my eyes I looked at her she seemed to become still, and I heard her let out a shaky breath. She stood up and quickly started back inside leaving wet foot prints. Again I followed her, inside I walked into the kitchen looking to see were she might of went.

I end up following the trail to the bathroom were I slipped grabbing the door frame so I didn't get hurt. Merida sat throwing up, it made a ew faces before walking towards her and grabbing her hair.

"Are you okay," I asked softly.

She sat up shoving me away slightly. I let go of her hair. And she flushed the toilet leaning against the tub. "Ay don't need yer help." She said looking at me.

I stood up quickly clinching my fist, "Fine," with that I walked towards the bathroom door pausing at the door frame gripping it, "But if you ever do, im here."

"Don't worry Astrid ye the last person I'd go ta,"

(A/N: OKAY I naturally don't like Astrid but in this story shes not exactly a bad guy atleast for now I might change my mind. I wanted a sort of sister relationship, one besides Elsa and Anna, The reason Merida hates Astrid and Astrid seems a bit confused why will be revealed later although you might get the idea.

Oh and Elsa meets Jack they don't know who each other are right now, you got a memory from Elsa on the night. So let go threw what you know.

Jack was there along with other guys. Rapunzel was mad for some reason and arguing to Merida about something. And a few small things that might be important.

I already know what happens the night of the party so feel free to guess but I can't tell you if your right or not.

Oh and im still debating on who I want to happen. I haven't done Rapunzels P.O.V because I don't know how I can without revealing secrets that you guys can't know yet. I'm gonna try though.

Oh and guys im in a Mericcup mood so im extremely sorry if chapters have more of it that Jelsa, im gonna try hard to get as much as possible and also whos P.O.V you want next?
