My P.O.V.

After I got Leo back to the farmhouse, Donnie checked on him. I told him that Leo needs some rest and he sent him to bed. I felt kinda pretty bad for Leo regurgitating the food I made him and his medicine. It felt like this was my fault. I was in the living room sitting on the chair until I called for my pet.

*sighs*

"Mars! Where are you?" I called out to him.

"He's right here Brianna." Mikey said as he came in with the small tiger.

"Thanks Mikester. Come here Mars, I need to talk to you."

"Roar, roar." I carried the tiger onto my lap.

"I'll leave you 2 alone."

"Okay. See ya later Mikey."

"See ya." he waved to us and left the living room. After he left, I paid my attention back to Mars.

"Mars, I don't know what to do. Leo's up there hurting and all I can do is sit here and do nothing."

"Roar, roar."

"Do you think I should talk to him?"

"Roar!"

"You know what? That's it. I'm gonna go upstairs and cheer him right back up. Thanks Mars, you're a pal." I put him down and started my way up the stairs.

"Roar, roar!" Mars was saying good luck to me.

When I made it to Leo's room, I opened the door slowly to make sure that I didn't wake him up. But he wasn't actually sleeping, he was just laying on the bed looking at the ceiling above him.

"Leo?"

"Oh, hey Brianna. How's it going?"

I blushed a little and looked at him. I was flustered by his voice that was sweet like honey. I was nervous in my mind, but I got my courage up and spoke to him.

"It's going okay."

"Oh, that's good."

"Listen. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry that the walk was a bit of a mess. It was my fault that the pancakes made you throw up."

"It wasn't the pancakes Brianna, it was the medicine. The medicine surly tastes bad but not your pancakes."

"Huh? It wasn't the blueberry pancakes?"

"Of course not!"

"Oh. Well, that's good to know. I think I should let you rest, I'll see you later." I said as I was walking out of the room.

"Brianna, wait!" Leo's voice caused me to stop in my tracks.

"What is it Leo?"

"I... I... I want you to stay with me. Can you?" he blushed a light red.

"Um... okay. It's the least I can do for you." I said as I closed the door and took a seat by the injured turtle. I grew quiet and a few seconds later, I started to yawn.

*yawn*

I licked my dry lips and started to close my eyes a bit, but Leo shook me.

"Hey Bre, are you getting tired?" Leo was concerned about me.

*yawn*

"Maybe just a little." I said sheepishly.

"Here. Place your head on my chest."

"Um... Okay." he pats a spot on his plated chest. I grew a bit pink, but I placed my head gently on his chest.

His chest was warm and I can hear his gentle breathing. I was also listening to his heart which was beating a song for me as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Leo's P.O.V.

As Brianna fell asleep on my chest, she felt warm. And she was breathing softly, her heartbeat sounded beautiful. She always looks peaceful when she's asleep and I loved it how she slept. I rubbed her back and she sighed sweetly.

'Man. What am I doing? I'm not suppose to be doing this to her. She's a girl, and I'm a mutant. I don't think this would work out between us.' my mind said as I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*Time Skip: The Night Hour*

As I was waking up, I saw that Brianna wasn't on my chest anymore. I was wondering if she woke up, so I got up from my bed and headed downstairs. I saw Brianna with Mars on her lap sitting on the couch by the fireplace. She looked pretty upset, so I sat next to her.

"Brianna? Are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm okay. It's just that I can't stop thinking about Master Splinter. The guys told me what happened to him."

"What happened to him?"

"Well..."

*10 minutes later...*

After the story was completed, I was surprised and sad at the same time about what happened to Master Splinter.

"I can't believe this."

"I know. I'm so sorry about your loss Leo." Brianna said as she was hugging me. I hugged her back and sat still on the couch. April came in with a tray of hot chocolate.

"Thanks April." I thanked her.

"You're welcome Leo."

"Man. I can't stop thinking about Master Splinter. Maybe he isn't gone."

"We saw it happen. Shredder threw him down a drain pipe." Donnie said.

"Maybe Leo's right. Splinter was a great ninja master." April said.

"Thye greatest master out of everyone." Raph responded.

"Hey guys! The show is starting!" Mikey shouted as his favorite show was starting, but it turned off by itself.

"Whoa!!!" he yelled out.

"Aw man!" Casey shouted.

"It's okay. It's just a blown fuse. I can fix it in a shake of a turtle's tail." Donnie said as he held a flashlight in his hand.

Just then the fire from the fireplace was mysteriously burned out.

"Hmm... That's weird, the fire's out." Brianna said.

"Yeah. That is weird." I said.

"Looks like we need more firewood." Raph said. But then the flashlight's batteries ran out of power.

"Are you kidding me?!" Donnie said as he was trying to turn the light source on and off again.

"I'll head out and cut up some more firewood." Raph said as he was leaving.

"Wait a minute Raph, Mars go with him so you can make sure that nothing happens to him. Okay?" Brianna said and Mars nodded his head.

"Ugh, fine. Come on Mars, let's go crack some wood."

"Roar!" Mars responded.

So Mars and Raph headed out the door to collect more firewood. I was starting to worry about Raph a bit, but Mars was with him which made me worry less. I know Mars can take care of Raph by himself.

Raph's P.O.V.

'Man, why does Brianna want Mars to watch me? I'm not a little kid! But then again, maybe she doesn't want me to get hurt. She wants to protect me, just like she protected Leo back in New York. Hmm... I think I should thank her later.' My mind said.

As I started cutting the firewood with an ax, Mars sat beside me. But then Mars heard a whoosh sound coming from behind me.

"Grr..."

"What was that?" I asked him. I was listening to the sound that was coming from the trees.

"Roar!" he pointed out a deer in the woods.

"Phew. It's just a deer. Thanks Mars."

"Roar..." I bent down to him and pet him.

After I finished petting Mars, I got back to work on making more firewood. But Mars roared again.

"Roar!"

"Not now Mars. I'm busy." I was thinking that he saw another deer.

"Roar! Roar!"

"I said not..." I turned around to see a huge thing which was standing in front of me.

*gasp*

"Roar!"

"Mars! Go back to the house!"

"Roar! Roar!" Mars roared as he ran to the house. I turned back around to see the monster coming at me. I wanted to attack him, but I didn't have my weapons at the moment. But then, he appeared right in front of me.

"Ahh!!!" I screamed but something was covering my mouth. And the thing got closer and closer, then it hits me which made everything went all black.
