April's P.O.V.

*April's Journal Entry Starts*

'I'll never forget what happened to me and my friends that night ago. The Kraang had defeated us, Leo got badly hurt, Brianna took the Shredder's impact for Leo, and Master Splinter is... gone. We lost.'

*The Party Wagon drives toward the old O'Neil farmhouse*

'With nowhere else to go, we've arrived at the farmhouse from my childhood. It was miles away from the city and it was the perfect place for all of us to be safe. Our first orders of business was to take care of poor Leonardo and Brianna.'

*April's Journal Entry Stops*

When we got in the house, Donatello took out his first aid kit and wrapped the bandages around Leo's minor injuries. Mars sat beside him.

"Alright Leo. You should be healed in about the next few weeks. I forbid you to not train during those next few weeks."

"Okay. I understand." Leo answered his purple banded brother sadly.

"Are you okay Leo?" Donnie asked him.

"Yeah."

"Are you sure? You don't look okay."

"It's Brianna. And I'm really worried about her. Why would she do that?"

"Maybe she did it because she cares about you."

"I think she does care about me. Does she?"

"Of course she does! She cares about everyone here! Right Mars?" he asked Mars.

"Roar!" he responds to Mikey's question.

"Hmm... Maybe she does care."

"Yeah. So let's return her favor and take care of her."

"Okay."

I ran upstairs to set up a bed for Brianna to lay down on while she recovers.

"Easy Raph." Donnie said as he and Raph are carrying Brianna's body to the bed.

"I am being easy. It's kind of funny that she's pretty light."

"Of course she's light! She gets plenty of exercise every day!" Leo explains.

"Alright Leo. We get it." Mikey answers him.

After Donnie and Raph placed Brianna on the bed, Donnie ran back downstairs, grabbed his first aid kit, and came back. He was about to unwrap Brianna's used bandages until Leo stopped him.

"Donnie, wait!"

"Huh? What is it Leo?" Donnie asked him.

"Can I do it? Since it was my turn to return her favor. She took care of me the last time and I owe her."

"Okay. Just don't rush the process. And be careful."

"Don't worry. I'll be careful."

We watched Leonardo take care of Brianna by unwrapping her used bandages and throwing them out. He saw the 3 way scar and looked pretty surprised.

"Wow. That's a pretty large scar there." Mikey pointed out.

"Man. It must have been the Shredder's gauntlet claws that injured her." Donnie also pointed out.

"Yeah. It was. And it's my fault."

"Come on Leo. Don't beat yourself up. She protected you and there was nothing you can do." Raph said.

*sighs*

"Yeah. You're right." He said as he laid his forehead on top of hers and he looked at me.

"April. Can you get a rag and a bowl of cool water? Brianna seems to be perspiring." Leo asked me.

"Sure."

I ran downstairs to grab a rag and a bowl with cool water, and came back with it.

"Here you go." I said as I placed it on the nightstand.

"Thanks."

Leo got back to work and wrapped the new bandages around Brianna and ties it off. He carries her body to where the pillow was and tucks her in with the comforter. Leo also placed the cool rag on top of her forehead so it can cool down. She groaned a bit softly and we all gathered around her. Mars jumped on top of the bed sitting next to her.

"If we leave her here for a while, she might regain consciousness. She'll need all of her strength to wake herself up." Donnie said.

"But for how long?" Leo asked.

"I'm not sure. But we'll have to see pretty soon. Mars, you stay here and keep an eye on Brianna. If she wakes up, roar 2 times ok?"

"Roar!" Mars roars softly.

Everyone in the room left, except for Leo. I looked back and stood next to him while we were watching Brianna.

"Hey Leo. Are you okay? You seemed a bit troubled. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Huh? Um, yeah. Can I sleep on that bed that's across from her?" he said as he was pointing to it.

"Um, yeah. But why would you to sleep there?"

"Um, no reason." He said as he was blushing.

"Come on Leo, tell me. You like Brianna. Don't you?"

*gasp*

"How did you know?"

"I figured out that you cared about her more than the rest of us. And all of the special things you've done for her, she enjoys being with you."

"Yeah. I do. Can you keep this as a secret?"

"I cross my heart and hope to fly." I said as I did the promise routine.

"Thanks April."

"You're welcome." I said as I was leaving him.

*April's Journal Entry Starts Again*

'Mars was keeping a constant vigil waiting for Brianna to wake up, and he never left her side. Leo was laying on the bed across from her all of this time while his injuries were still healing. I think he's really worried about Brianna for taking the Shredder's impact for him. She was still unconscious, and Donnie wasn't even sure if she'll ever wake up sooner or later. But we will have to continue praying for Brianna's safety.'
