*The next morning...*

Leo's P.O.V.

*yawn*

I woke on a beautiful sunny fall day. I looked over to Brianna who was sleeping soundly and I smiled at her. I got out of my bed carefully so I don't wake her up. But when my feet touched the wooded floor, it creaked like someone's stomach was growling really loudly.

I looked over to her who was still sleeping peacefully, but Mars woke up and saw me. He jumped out of the bed and rubbed his fur to my leg. I crouched down to him and pat his head.

"Good morning Mars. Did you sleep well?"

"Roar!" he roared softly.

"Good. Wanna come with me to the living room and watch me meditate?" I asked him and he nodded his head.

"Okay. But let's be quiet." I got back on my feet and tip-toed my way out of the room. Mars followed closely behind me.

When we got to the living room, I sat on the floor and began meditating, Mars sat on the couch in front of me. When I tried to meditate, I couldn't do it. Brianna was the only thing that was on my mind. I mean come on, she's very pretty and I really like her. But then again, I was wondering if she liked me back too. The thoughts were making me blush.

Mars sat up from the couch and looked at me with his light brown eyes. He looked pretty confused and tilted his head to the right side. I picked him up and placed him on my lap.

*sighs*

"Sometimes Mars, I don't know whether if Brianna likes me back or not. And I don't know what to do about it."

"Do what about it?" a voice asked me.

I jumped and saw Donnie at the top of the stairwell. He came downstairs and sat down on the couch. Mars came to him and lied down his lap.

"Good morning Mars."

"Roar!"

"Good morning Leo."

"Good morning Donnie."

"What's up?"

"Nothing much, just meditating."

Something tells me that Donnie has noticed something different about me.

"Leo? Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?" Donnie asked as he was fanning his face with his hand.

"It's me Donnie." I answered him.

"What's wrong Leo? Are you blushing?" he stifled a laugh.

"What?! No, I'm not blushing!" I said as I was trying to hide it.

"Come on Leo. I'm your brother, you can tell me anything."

"Okay. As long as you keep this talk a secret."

"Okay. So what's wrong?"

"There's nothing wrong really. It's just that... um... that um..."

"It's about Brianna. Isn't it?" he answered.

*gasp*

"How did you know that?"

"April told me. I know you like Brianna and I could tell by your face." he pointed out, I knew April would tell him the secret and he's right.

"Yes, it's true. I've loved her at first site that last year ago."

"Heh. Just like when I saw April."

"Donnie, can I ask you something?"

"Sure bro, what is it?"

"How do you get a girl to like you?"

"Well, you can ask her for a day out with you. That's what I did to April when Dr.Falco was defeated last year."

"Oh. I get it now. Maybe when she wakes up, I could ask her to come with me for a walk to the creek later."

"Sure. That's a great idea!"

"Thanks Donnie. You're a good bro."

"Thanks Leo. You're a good bro too."

"You won't tell a soul. Will you?" I've asked him.

"I won't tell a soul." Donnie said as he was crossing his heart.

"Good. Now let's make breakfast for everyone."

"Already made it bros!" Mikey said as he pointed out the food.

"Man, Mikey can make good food in less than 10 minutes." Donnie said.

"My shell..." I said.

"Roar, roar." Mars roared surprisingly.

My P.O.V.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon that caused to get up from my bed. I stretched my back and licked my dry lips.

"Man. What a night." I said as I was feeling my face.

I was thinking about last night when I was shedding my tears with Leo by my side, and then I cried myself to sleep. I began to notice that Leo was gone, Mars was gone too.

"Huh? Where did Leo and Mars go? Oh well, they might be downstairs eating breakfast in the kitchen with the others by now."

I walked over to the bathroom and washed my face. I brushed my hair while I was brushing my teeth. When I finished drying up, I went downstairs to see everyone eating at the table.

"Oh! Good morning everyone."

"Good morning Brianna." they said as I was walking down the stairs.

"Good morning Mars." I said to him as I pet him and he purred. I took my seat and Mikey gave me breakfast.

"Thanks Mikey. This looks good." I said as I looked at my plate of pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and crispy turkey bacon.

"You're welcome." he smiled.

After I finished eating breakfast, the gang and I went to the living to see Mikey's new favorite show, but Donnie was in the way. He had 2 small bottles and 2 spoons in his hands.

"Here Leo. Try some of my new mutagen-based elixir to heal you. You'll feel better in no time." Donnie said as he was giving Leo a spoonful of the green liquid. When he swallowed the elixir, he had a weird look on his face.

"Ew! That stuff was suppose to come out of me, not go into me." I giggled a little bit from his outcome.

"What he said." Mikey pointed out.

"Shut up Mikey." Leo said to him.

"I know it tastes really bad, but I know it will heal you."

"Whatever you say Donnie." Leo said as he was sticking his tongue out from the after taste.

"And for you Brianna, Casey gave me this cherry flavored fish oil medicine so it can heal your injury. And heck, it can even give you the vitamins and minerals that might be needed."

"Okay. If you say so Donnie."

He was about to pour the pink medicine liquid onto the spoon, but Leo stopped him.

"Donnie wait!"

"What is it now Leo?"

"Can I do it? Please?"

"Okay. Just don't spill it."

"I won't."

"Okay Donnie. He gets it." Mikey points it out and Donnie growls.

Leo was pouring the pink liquid carefully onto the spoon and I braced myself for the taste.

"Okay Brianna. Open wide."

"Ahh..." I opened my mouth wide and held my nose in. When I swallowed the pink concoction, I had a weird look on my face. It tasted horrible.

"Ugh, my lord! That concoction is the most terrible thing that I've ever tasted! Ugh!" I said as I was sticking out my tongue as well.

"What she said." Raph pointed out as well.

"Shut up Raph."

"Well. That was interesting, and now I'm leaving. Watching you 2 swallowing medicine might make me lose my breakfast." Raph said as he left.

"Heh. Me too." Mikey agreed.

"What they said." Casey also agreed. So the 3 boys left to their rooms.

"I'm gonna go for a walk in the woods. You wanna come along Mars?" April asked him.

"Roar!" he roared happily.

"Okay let's go! See ya guys later!" April said as she took her coat off the rack. Mars grabbed his light blue scarf with his mouth and followed April. They both waved to us and they headed outside together.

"Okay. Now that you've tasted the medicine, you can do whatever you want. But no training, capish?"

"Capish!" we both responded.

"Now, I'm gonna head over to the barn lab and work on something okay? Good, now both of you behave!" Donnie said as he took the supplies. He also took his purple scarf and headed out to the barn.

All of our friends just left us alone in the living room which made us grew very silent. I looked up to Leo without him noticing and looked at the ground quickly before he knew I was watching him.

Leo's P.O.V.

I knew that Brianna was watching me. I could tell because of the way she blushes and she looks cute when her face is pink. I began to notice that she was shivering, she looked cold and I wanted to help her.

"Hey Brianna. Are you cold?"

"Yeah. Just a little."

"You wanna cozy up by the fire with me? I'm a little cold as well."

"Um... okay." we both headed to the fireplace and sat on the carpet together. I grabbed a blanket from the top of the couch and wrapped it around us. I moved over to Brianna a little closer and she snuggled up to me. I blushed a light red.

"Leo?"

"What is it Brianna?" I asked.

"Thanks for giving that medicine. I appreciate it that you care about me."

"It was nothing really." I blushed.

A little while later, I heard a gentle breathing coming from the right side of me. It was Brianna, and I think she fell asleep while we were warming up by the fire.

I took a deep sigh and felt my heartbeat. It was beating really fast which warmed me up so quick, I thought it was gonna explode! But I took Brianna's body and carried her to the couch, set her down gently, and tucked her in with the blanket. She sighed warmly into the pillow, and breathed in and out softly.

I really loved how she slept and how she was breathing. I fell into deep love with her, and I don't think she's noticed it. And I totally forgot to ask her out for the walk in the woods, I think I'll ask her out tomorrow. I pushed some of her long brown hair out of her face and gently placed my warm lips to kiss her soft forehead.

"Have pleasant dreams Brianna." I whispered in her ear gently.

I yawned and laid down on the carpet with a pillow in my hand. I also intertwined my 3 fingers to her delicate hands and fell asleep soundly.
