It was the year 2004 and a 6 year old Karai was practicing her moves on some foot ninjas. Miwa sits behind on the mats watching her younger self. Little Karai flips one the foot ninja over her shoulder.

"Nice one kiddo" Miwa chuckles.

Little Karai looks at her with a surprise look.

"Who are you ?" Little Karai asks.

"I'm you from the future" Miwa said.

"You are how do I know that's true? Little Karai asks.

Miwa brings out a picture of Tang Shen and gives it to little Karai.

"Its the same picture that father gave me" Little Karai said obviously talking about Shredder.

"Yeah he did I kept the picture for many years to remind myself I had a mother" Miwa said.

"What's it's like in the future? Do I take over the foot clan ?" Little Karai asks.

"Actually no but you do become a leader a team with our boyfriend" Miwa said.

"Ewwww I have a boyfriend?" Little Karai gags causing Miwa to giggle.

"That's right you haven't found boys yet" Miwa giggles as she walks up to little Karai.

"Here let me teach you a move, this is called the pitch tact" Miwa said as she gets into a fighting position in front a foot ninja.

The foot ninja rushes at Miwa but she dodges and pinches his neck. The foot ninja falls down much to little Karai's amazement.

"That's cool" Little Karai said.

"I know I learned that from someone special" Miwa said.

"Who ?" Little Karai asks.

"Our grandfather" Miwa replied.

"But I never met grandfather he died when I was baby. father told me stories about him but that's it" Little Karai said.

"I know it doesn't make sense but it will when your older" Miwa said.

"Do I get those cool fire tattoos too?" Little Karai asks Pointing to Miwa's tattoos that were by her eyes.

"You sure do just don't get them removed" Miwa said.

Suddenly sounds of punching is heard outside the Bradford dojo. Miwa and little Karai looks outside the window to see a 6 year old boy with black hair getting beaten up by a bunch of bullies.

"Thoses bullies have no honor" Little Karai said.

Miwa knew the boy who was getting up beating and she remembers seeing this.

"Go save him" Miwa said.

"What about you?" Little Karai asks.

"I have a future to return to" Miwa said.

Little Karai goes outside to see the boy getting an atomic wedgie.

"Hey leave him alone!' Little Karai shouts.

"Yeah ? What's a little girl like you gonna do about it ?!" One of the bullies said with a smirk.

"This !" Little Karai snares as she punches one of the bullies out cold.

The other bullies charge at her but little Karai dodges and swipe kicks the other 3 bullies. She points her dagger at one of the bullies.

"If you ever hurt that boy again I will cut your throat! Got it ?!" Little Karai snares.

"Yes!" One of the bullies whimpers.

"Get out of here !" Little Karai snares.

The bullies run away afraid. The boy tries to remove the underwear away from his hear but with no success. Little Karai kneels down to the boy.

"Here let me help" Little Karai said as she gently get the waistband of the underwear off of the boys head.

"Are you okay ?" Little Karai asks as she looks at the boy's bruised eye.

"I'm fine thanks to you" The boy said with a small grin.

"What's your name ?" Little Karai asks.

"Arnold but I prefer Casey" Little Casey said.

"Its nice to meet you Casey I'm Karai" Little Karai said.

"Nice to me you too Karai" Casey said with a smile.

Miwa watches with a small smile remembering the day she met Casey. She goes back into the time portal,content with meeting her younger self.

"Keep your head up kiddo" Miwa said with a small smile.

When I watched the original 2012 tmnt show I was hoping Karai aka Miwa would connect with her little self or talk to her inner child when she found out the truth that way she had inner conflick with herself but that never ended up happening so I'm here to write.
