April: I'll never forget the night we left New York City the Kraang defeated us leo got badly hurt master splinter is gone Elizabeth's mom and Karai disappeared. we lost we had nowhere left to go so we came to the old farmhouse I grew up in miles away from the city a place we could all be safe. in the first thing we did was take care of poor Leonardo raphael and Elizabeth keep a constant vigil over Leo waiting for him to wake up. Michelangelo goofs around a lot but he does a ton of chores around the house but mostly he goofs around a lot. Donatello built a lab in the barn trying to create a mutagenic medicine to heal Leo. And then there's me April o'Neil I spend most of my time training with the turtles and Elizabeth writing in my ever expanding journal. I miss New York my Sensei my dad. Hopefully Leo will recover and we can all go home soon if there's even a home to go back to. but life as Master Splinter would say we must continue on

Everyone expect Leo were training right outside the farmhouse but Donnie and Casey started tackling each other

April: Okay you two enough! You guys are acting like a bunch of caged animals

Lizzie: it's hard to tell the difference

Casey: we're just blowing off a little steam tiger

Lizzie: learn my name

donnie: things are just kind of tense lately right old friend?

Casey: You got that right old pal

They were both pretending to be nice to each other

Raph: we're all just a little frustrated April no offense but we're turtles we don't belong in a farmhouse. We belong in the sewers

Donnie: Ok not entirely accurate but apropos

Mikey: Yeah that's all good. But like Master Splinter would say we must accept the hand that the universe has dealt us

Casey: wow that's deep

Raph: master splinter's gone Mikey and Leo may never wake up. The universe dealt us a terrible hand

Lizzie: Raph-

Raph: save it your not exactly good at making people feel better

He went inside and Lizzie felt bad

Later that day Leo woke up and everyone took care of him

Leo: So we've been here for three months? I've been out that long?

April: You had us worried sick Leo. Raph barely slept

Raph: That was nothing Lizzie stayed up way longer then I did

Lizzie: I was worried about you Leo

Mikey: Oh really? are you sure that's the only reason?

Lizzie: Y-Yeah

Casey: So like why does he sound different

Donnie: He sustained damage to his throat and pretty much everywhere else for that matter here Leo take some more of my special patented mutagen medicine you'll be healed in no time

Leo had some of the medicine but it was terrible

Leo: that tastes like it's supposed to come out of me not go into me...

Raph: First thing tomorrow we're going to start training again you and me I'll have you on your feet in no time bro

Later Leo and Raph came back from training

Leo: I just can't stop thinking about master splinter maybe he's not really gone

Donnie: we saw it happen shredder threw him down a drain pipe

Lizzie: And Karai disappeared. there was no sign of her anywhere

April: but maybe Leo's right i mean Splinter was a great ninja master

Raph: The greatest in a century.

April: and Lizzie you and Karai were trained by shredder

Lizzie: yeah that's the only time he ever interacted with me

Suddenly the power went out

Casey: Aw man. You have to be kidding me

Donnie: It's just a blown fuse I'll fix it in two shakes of a turtle's tail

The fire went out to

Raph: Great looks like we need more firewood

Raph left to get fire wood but didn't come back for hours

Mikey: Raph!! He's been gone for hours Raph!!

Casey: Raph! Can you hear us?!

April: Don't you think he'd answer?

Leo: All right we split up. Lizzie and Casey you guys take that way. Mikey Donnie and April you take that way

Mikey: Split up?

Lizzie: don't leave me with Casey! He annoys the heck out of me I been through enough already

Casey: come on I'm not that annoying

Lizzie just glared at him

Leo: Lizzie and Casey you take that way

He pointed in a different direction

April: What about you?

Leo: I'll wait at the farmhouse in case Raph comes back I won't be much help out there anyway

Casey and Lizzie go deeper in the wood

Casey: so Tiger after spending three months with us but mostly with me I can tell you've got some feelings for me

Lizzie: are you serious? First learn my name it's Elizabeth second our families are gone probably mutated and here you are flirting with me! So enough with the jokes and back off or I'll make you

Casey: Alright I get it

Lizzie: good now come on let's keep moving

Then they both heard Donnie scream

Lizzie: that's Donnie!

Lizzie ran towards Donnie's voice but realized casey wasn't with her

Lizzie: casey? I said stop with the jokes!

She saw a monster holding casey

Casey: Let me go!

Lizzie kicked the monster in the stomach making it let go of Casey

Lizzie: you ok?

Casey: Hold on I thought you hated me!

Lizzie: I don't hate you Casey you just frustrate me

The monster attacked them both again and kicked them unconscious

Lizzie woke up in a shed tied up in vines. Casey was passed out next to her

Lizzie: Casey wake up!!

Casey: huh? What's going on?

Mikey: I call the monster the creep now!

The creep turned Raph into a plant

Lizzie: what the heck?!

Mikey: Raph!!

Donnie: It's feeding off of him like mutagenic fertilizer. Raph!

Mikey: You turned my brother into a plant! You turned him into a plant! I'll bash that mutagen straight out of you!

Everyone heard someone outside and the creep went to see who it was. they all heard fighting and then Leo came in the shed

April: Leo!

Leo saw Raph as a plant

Leo: What the heck is that?

Donnie: It's Raph long story quick get us out of here!

Leo cuts them out of the vines

Lizzie: I'm impressed you fought that thing while you were hurt

Leo: I don't even know how I did

The creep stood up but April and Mikey shut the shed door. The creep broke in anyway

Mikey: Booyakasha!

Everyone attacked the creep together

April: Casey grab the chains!

Casey grabbed the chains and tied the creep to a tree

Casey: That's what you get for messing with my mask you freak!

Donnie: That should hold him. Now come on we have to get him back to the lab

Lizzie: what about Raph?

Leo: really think you can save him?

Donnie: Honestly I don't know I just don't know

Back at Donnie's new lab Raph woke up and was back to normal

Raph: What the heck is going on?

Casey: A crazy swamp monster sucked out your mutagen and turned you into a plant dude. It was awesome!

Lizzie: I wouldn't call it awesome

Donnie: But I used this IV tube to drain all the mutagen out of the Creep and back into your body. Cool right? It killed off the infection like a bad case of shell acne

Raph: Thanks Donnie so what happened to the monster?

Casey: It got turned back into swamp goo. Pretty wicked right?

Lizzie: the important thing is we won't have to worry about that thing anymore

April: Donnie worked all night to save you. Leo never left your side

Leo: That's what brothers are for. We have to heal up Raph we have a city to take back

Mikey: I give that a big fat sloppy wet booyakasha!

Lizzie: Ew just a simple booyakasha is fine

Mikey: Ha! You finally said it!

Lizzie: I'm going to bed

Lizzie walked back into the house and Casey caught up to her

Casey: look tiger- Lizzie if I said anything to make mad Casey Jones apologize's

Lizzie: no Casey I'm sorry for yelling at you but I just don't have feelings for you

Casey: it's cool I totally get it! But is there anyone you like?

Lizzie: Ha! Even if I did I wouldn't tell you

She walked away and thought about Leo

Casey: so that means can fall for me eventually and I'm cool with waiting
