Aurora Greyson lets out a sigh as she pulls into 125 New York fire station, existing the rental car she rented once she arrived in New York. She sat in for five minutes of thinking and walks towards the open station doors.

"Excuse me?" Aurora announced her presence to the group of firefighters standing by the firetruck.

"Can I help you?" A man who Aurora already knows who he is, from what Athena was able to gather from her background check she did for her god daughter.

"I'm looking for Owen Strand" Aurora tells TK who looks confused.

"I'm his son TK" He greets holding hands hand out.

"I'm Aurora" She shakes his hand.

"Can I asked why you're looking for my dad?" TK asks as the rest of the 125 head off.

"Greyson" Aurora blurts out reviving a look of confusion.

"My mom is Kelly Greyson" Aurora admits as Owen Strand stops gaining both of their attention.

"Kelly has a kid?" Owen asks walking towards the two.

"She has two, which why I'm here" Aurora tells the two Strand men.

"Why would?" Owen asks confused.

"Sixteen years ago you married my mom after a year you guys divorced" Aurora states earning a nod from the older man.

"Well my mom gave birth to a little girl nine months later before returning home in LA where she got addicted again and left leaving the little girl with me" Aurora tells them.

"What's that got to do with my dad?" TK asked.

"I'm going through the custody process from my sister but I need the birth father's signature. Aurora responds to the younger man.

"I'm the father?" Owen asks his face turning white as a ghost.

"She looks just like your son" Aurora says grabbing her phone to show them a picture of a smiling 15 year old.

"We should take this to my office" Owen tells them not looking away from the phone and towards his team who stands with shocked faces.

Aurora nods as they lead her to an office, smiling at the firefighters who were clearly listening to the three.

"I like the firehouse, it's really nice" Aurora complimented as she sits down. "The one I work for in LA is more plain kind of."

"You a firefighter to?" TK questions handing the woman a coffee.

"Yes, four years" Aurora answered smile as a thanks.

"I remember you, you were that off duty firefighter who jumped off the pier to save a toddler" Owen snapped his fingers.

"That was me" Aurora blushed she remembers it like it was yesterday. Aurora had a day off and took Beth out to the pier when a piece of the pier broke causing a 4 year old to fall.

Aurora was the only person to react quickly tossing her sister her purse and jumping in the ocean before grabbing the little girl and swimming to shore before giving CPR, reviving the child. The whole thing had been recorded and posted online shared by millions of people and making it on the news. Aurora received the Valor and Exemplary Service Award.

"So let's get back to why you're here" Owen tells her.

"Right, um so I came here to get your signature to allow me full custody of Beth" Aurora says as she pulls the file out of her purse.

"Beth? Here names Beth?" Owen asks staring at the woman who looks a little bit like his ex wife.

"Elizabeth but she normally goes by Beth or liz and Lizzie" Aurora answer the man.

"What if I don't want to give you full custody?" Owen asks his ex step daughter as TK looks between them like a tennis match.

"Well if that's what you want we can do that" Aurora nods handing him the papers "just write your statement that you didn't know she existed and you want half custody and the judge will contact you to give you a date for court"

"Will we need a lawyer to?" TK questions wanting to know more about the case.

"No, Owen legally has custody of Beth and will still have to sign on the birth certificate because your name is on it but you are her blood father and known as her father but you have to sign that you are aware you are her dad and want half custody" Aurora shakes her head as she thinks back to the conversation with her lawyer. "You both will have to get background checks and few other things checked like your house but once they see your a good fit for Beth they will grant you custody than we'll talk about how we'll about how we're gonna split between here and LA"
(AN - I don't know anything about a father gaining custody of a child I only know about how my mom got custody of my nephews)

"Like school there and summer here?" Owen asked the Greyson woman who nods.

"And we can split between holidays, so one Christmas here and one in Los Angeles but yes" Aurora nodded before adding. "And if you move before the trail it would be appreciated if you tell the judge"

"Okay, we can do that" Owen nods grabbing the papers from the brunette woman and starts filling them out.

"Can you tell us about Beth" TK turns his attention to her.

"What do you want to know?"Aurora responded.

"Hobbies?, Birthday? Boyfriend I got fight off?" TK questions causing Aurora to laugh at the beaming man.

"She loves gymnastics, drawing and she loves cooking with my, chief Bobby. She was born October twenty eighth and no boyfriend yet but trust me I'll let you know when she does"

"And what about you?" Owen asks, as he looks up for the papers he finish signing.

"I don't really have hobbies now mostly am I parent to my sister sometimes I'll hangout with my team but that's about it, I'm twenty four and will be twenty five in tomorrow and no boyfriend" Aurora responded shrugging as she takes the file.

"Good, men suck" Owen nods earning a laugh from the girl and an annoyed hey from his son "Your gay" Owen replies staring at TK.

"I know but word hurt" Tk responds jokingly places his hand on his chest.

"Well I have to get back to the hotel before Beth starts blowing up my phone"

"Beth is in New York right now?" Owen stands from his chair.

"Yes" Aurora nods pausing before looking between them "would you guys like to meet her?"

"Yes we would" Owen nods
