"So Danny knows?" Her mother asks.
Jessica looks at her then looks down and in a low voice she says, "Yeah, he knows.."
"He does?"
"Well he knows that I'm pregnant, he doesn't know it's twins.  I sent him a picture of the ultrasound, but he didn't respond.."
"Well don't worry baby, your daddy will kill him." She pats her arm.
Jessica laughs as she hears the doorbell.
"I'll get it." Jane says.

When she opens the door Danny was standing there.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"I know I'm an asshole, okay?  But I was an idiot and I need to talk to Jessica!  Please?"
"Danny?" She turns to him when she hears his voice.
"You want me to punch him, Jess?" Jane makes a fist.
"Jane!" She looks at her then looks back at Danny and says, "What are you doing here?"
"I was stupid.  Oh my God I was so stupid." He walks towards her.
"Yeah, I know you are." She gives him a look.

"Jessica.. Sometimes people say things or do things that they don't mean, or that they wouldn't normally do.
When you told me you were pregnant, I saw my life and all of my goals just slip away.  I only thought of myself and no one else!  My dreams of becoming an NFL player were shattered.  I never once thought of the big picture.. That I was going to have a baby with the girl that I love more than anyone else in the world.  I never thought about how your life is going to change.. Or how it already has changed!  You have a little baby inside of you!  You're sick everyday, you're giving up the rest of your teenage life and having a baby in your senior year of high school.. Jessica, you are so strong and so so brave.  This baby is so lucky to have you as his or her mommy.  Now, I didn't come back here to ask you to give me another chance, because I know that I really messed up, and I don't blame you if you don't forgive me.  But I want you to know that I am here for you and for our child... Our baby.  I am so so sorry!  I didn't mean what I said!" He gets on his knees, puts one hand behind her and the other on her stomach as he rests his cheek on her bump.
"I'll be here for you, baby... That is if your mommy will let me.." He looks up at her.
"Will you let me, Jessica?"
Jessica looks down at him and plays with his curls.
"Oh Danny... Yes you are an idiot!  She pokes his nose with her finger and smiles.
"But I guess I am too... I forgive you, Danny." She smiles.
"Really?!" His eyes widen.
"Of course I do!  I know that you meant every single word that you said, and I'll give you another chance.  Just don't fuck it up!  Don't you ever do this to me again!  If you do, I swear to God I will cut your balls off!" She points her finger at him.
He laughs and stands up, "I promise, baby!" He hugs her.
"Oh I've missed you so much!"
"I've missed you too, Danny!" She says before he kisses her.

"So this is it, right?  We're back together?  No more being stupid!  I love you and I want to be with you forever!"
"Forever isn't long enough for me to show you how much I love you... I will spend the rest of eternity trying to give you the world, baby girl." He kisses her lips.
"Oh Danny!" She wraps her arms around his neck.
"I love you, I love you so much.." He mumbles into the kiss.
"I love you too..."

"And I love you!" He looks down at her belly with his hand on it.
"I can't believe there's somebody inside of you right now!  My son or daughter is inside of you right now!" He smiles.
"I know!" She giggles.
"Jess.. When I saw that picture you sent me.. It was like reality hit me and I knew I couldn't give you guys up.  In that moment I become a father in a way, and I couldn't leave you two.. My baby girl, and my baby." He kisses her lips then gets on his knees and kisses her stomach.
"I hope it looks like you!" He tells her.
"I hope it looks like you!" She giggles.
"Maybe it'll be a boy and he'll like football just like me!" He smiles up at her.
"Could be!" She smiles.
"Or maybe it's a girl and she'll be as beautiful as her mommy."
She smiles and says, "Well, no matter what they are, these babies will be so loved."
"Yes they will... Wait... Did you just say?" He looks up at her.
Jessica smiles and nods.
"Babies?  As in two babies?"
"Yeah!"
"As in one, two babies?"
"Yes Danny!" She laughs then says, "We're having twins!"
"Oh I've gotta get a job!" His eyes widen.
She laughs and says, "Now you're thinking!"
