Everyone was so happy to see the new baby.  Jessica held her most of the time.  She of course was worried Jovi would catch germs from the family, so she protected her as best as she could.

That evening Jessica nursed Jovi and put her to sleep.  She then sat up and just watched her.

"Honey.. Why don't you get some sleep before her next feeding?"

"I'm just worried.  If something goes wrong, we're not doctors, Danny.  How are we going to help her?"

"Sweetie, don't think like that."

"Our daughter had a major heart surgery, Daniel.  How am I not supposed to worry?"

"I know it's hard, but they wouldn't have sent her home if she wasn't strong enough.  She is perfectly fine.  We have this little thing on her foot and it'll alert us if anything is off."

"I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight."

"I'll stay up and watch her."

"No, go to sleep."

"If you stay up then I am too.  We're in this together." Danny takes her hand. "We're a team."

Jessica gives him the smallest smile.

Danny and Jessica decided to play a game to help them stay awake.

"I'm the king at monopoly.  Pay up, babe!"

"Oh you big dweeb!  Here.  Here's your money!"

"Yes!  Thank you, mommy!"

Jessica giggles before turning to Jovi.  The baby started making tiny noises before crying.

"She's up!" Jessica smiles. "It's okay, princess.  Mama's right here, don't cry."

Jessica then unbuttoned her nightshirt before bringing the baby to her breast.

"All better." Danny smiles to his daughter. "Life is always better when you're sucking on a tit."

"Oh Daniel!" Jessica laughs.

Jessica then looks down to the baby.  Suddenly they hear a small voice coming from the baby monitor.

"Mommy?  Daddy?  It Emi!"

"She's awake?  Danny, it's late!" Jessica looks up and Danny laughs.

"I'll go see what she wants."

"Thank you."

Danny walks down the hall and into the twins' bedroom where he found Emilia holding the baby monitor to her lips.

"Come get me out, I have to take care of my baby sister."

"Hey, hey, hey.  What are you doing up, Em?"

"Daddy!" Emilia smiles.

"Don't wake your sister, bug."

"Take me to my baby sister."

"Honey, you've gotta get back to bed."

"No."

"Emilia."

"Me gotta help my baby sister!"

"Mommy's got it, she's feeding her right now."

"I gotta teach her how to eat!"

"She knows, baby.  Lay down please."

"Take me to mommy and my baby!"

Just then Elaina sits up and makes a face.
"Sut up and let me sleep!  You go away, daddy!"

"Hey!  That was mean." Danny pouts.

"Take sissy too.  She too loud."

"Okay, okay.  Come here, Emilia.  You're not gonna stop anyway, and Laina is just gonna get angrier and angrier."

"Go." Elaina says.

"I'm trying, grouch!" Danny lifts Emilia and takes her to the bedroom.

When they enter the room Emilia smiles big and says, "Hi!  I gonna help!"

"Danny, why did you let her convince you to bring her over here?  Emilia, you have to go to sleep, honey."

"Mama me help!"

"I've got everything under control, love.  She's eating right now, then she's going to go back to sleep.... Hopefully."

Danny chuckles and sits her on the bed.
"I'm sorry Jess, I had to bring her she was waking Elaina.  And Lainey was already starting to get grouchy."

"I be a big help, mommy."

Jessica looks at her older child and smiles softly.
  She then runs her fingers through her short blonde hair.

"Mommy!" Emilia smiles.

Jessica kisses her forehead and says, "Okay.  You win.  You can sit right here while I feed her, but then you and sissy both have to get some sleep.  Okay?"

"Okay mommy!  Can I hold baby sister?"

"We'll see."

"Okay.  I be patient."

"Thank you, sweet girl."

Emilia giggles and hugs her mother's arm.

"You all done, Jovi?"

"She not tired, mommy.  Like me!" Emilia exclaimed.

"I see that.  But look at daddy sleeping like a big ol' fat bear."

Emilia looks over to Danny and laughs.
"I hold Jovi, mama?"

"Okay.  Just for a minute.  Then it's off to bed."

"Okay."

Jessica places the baby on Emilia's lap.

"Let go, mommy.  I got it!"

"I'm just gonna help you.  She's kinda heavy."

Emilia smiles down to her baby sister.
"Hi beautiful baby." She says as she gently caresses Jovi's cheek.

"You're such a great big sister, Em."

"I know that."

Jessica giggles and yawns.
Emilia then looks up to Jessica. "You tired, mama?"

"Very."

"You go to sleep.  I watch her."

Jessica giggles. "That's okay.  Thank you though.
  Okay, kiss Jovi night night."

"Awe man!  Night night, sissy." Emilia kisses her.

"Such sweet sisters."

"Mama can I sleep in yours an dada's bed?"

Jessica sighs. "Sure.  But just for tonight, and you have to go to sleep."

"YAY!"

"Shh."

"Oops!  I sorry!"

"It's okay.  Lay down, honey."

"Kay!  Mama, can I have some milk?"

Jessica chuckles softly.  You want milk?"

"Yes please!"

Jessica let's out an exhausted sigh and looks to Danny. "Some team." She mumbles under her breath.

"Sure.  I'll get you some milk.  Stay here, I'll be right back."

"Kay.  I'll hold the baby!" Emilia holds her hands out.

"No, no, no, I've got her.  Thank you though."

Jessica then walks downstairs to get Emilia some milk.  She then takes the bottle upstairs and finds Emilia asleep on Danny's chest.

Jessica chuckles softly and closes the door.  She then walks back downstairs and relaxes on the couch. "I don't need you crying and waking sissy.  I'll never get her to go back to sleep."

Jovi just stared up to her mother with her big beautiful eyes.

"You're not sleepy at all, are you?" Jessica giggles.

"That's okay.. We can hang out for a little while.  I know what!  Why doesn't mommy tell you a story?  That always seems to put your daddy to sleep." She giggles and kisses the baby's forehead before sticking the pacifier in her mouth.

"Let me tell you about the first time I laid eyes on your stinky daddy.."

Jovi then looks to Jessica and brings her hands to the sides of her face.

"Oh wow!  You're going to be exactly like your father!"
