5:40 am.

Jessica and Danny wake up to both girls creaming on the top of their lungs.

"Danny, it's happening again!" Jessica whines.

"I'm coming.. I'm coming... Jess?"

"Yeah?"

"Am I up?"

"No!"

"Dammit!"

"Danny hurry!" She whines.

"Alright!" He throws the blanket off of him and gets out of bed.

"Come here you little noise makers."

Danny hands the girls to Jessica and she feeds them.

He lays back down and goes to sleep.

"Daniel!" She yells making him jump.

"What?!"

"You have to stay up with me!"

"I am up!"

"Danny come on!"

"Okay I'm sorry!" He sits up.

"Danny they're not hungry."

"Maybe they need diapers." Danny says as he takes Elaina from her and checks her diaper.

"Yep!  You made a stinky, didn't you, pretty girl?" Danny smiles.

He hands Jessica a diaper and some wipes, and they change the girls.

"Now mommy and daddy are gonna change your little dipey's and then you two are gonna go night nights and not wake up until at least seven, okay? Does that sound like a plan?" Danny says in a cute voice.

Elaina makes a cute baby noise and Danny says, "It's a deal, mommy!"

"Great!" Jessica laughs.

Once their diapers are changed Danny props them up on Jessica boppy pillow and the girls start crying.

"What? What happened, I thought we had a deal, girls!" Danny says.

Jessica chuckles and buries her face in her hands.

"We have the most miserable babies in the world!"

Danny laughs and rubs her back.

"It's okay, they're new to all this. They were just all warm and cozy in your tummy, they're not used to this big world yet."

"Yeah.. That's true. I did make it pretty comfy in there." Jessica smiles.

"Yes you did!" He chuckles and kisses the top of her head.

It quiets down a little, then they suddenly stop all together.

Jessica and Danny look over to them and Elaina has her thumb in Emilia's mouth.

"Oh Danny!" Jessica grabs his shirt.

"Is that not just the cutest thing you've ever seen?" Jessica cries.

"They're so beautiful!" Danny bawls.

"Awe baby!" Jessica chuckles and hugs him as they watch their girls.

"She's such a good sister! She's gonna be like the little mama I bet!" Jessica says in a high pitched voice.

"Elaina, you love your sissy, don't you?!  This is just so sweet, I can't take it!"

"I know!  They're so adorable!" Danny says in a cute voice.

"Awe Danny, you're so cute!" Jessica laughs and lays her head on him.

Once Danny moves the girls back into their crib they stayed quiet until seven like he had asked.

"Well they're staring to listen! I said seven, didn't I?" Danny smiles at Jessica with sleepy eyes.

"Yes you did! They're so smart!"

Danny chuckles and hands Emilia to Jessica.

They walk downstairs and everyone is down for breakfast.

"Good morning! Was the first night everything you ever dreamed it would be?" Dorothy smiles.

"Oh it was lovely!" Jessica says in a sarcastic tone.

"They screamed all night long!" George says.

"I know, I'm sorry, but they're just babies.."

"I understand, I'm just saying they cried all night long! How are you two still alive?"

"I'm not!" Danny nods.

Jessica chuckles as gasps, "Oh I forgot! They did the cutest thing last night! First they fell asleep all cuddled up together, then another time Elaina calmed Emilia down by sharing her thumb with her!" Jessica laughs.

"Yeah she stuck her thumb in her mouth to shut her up! Isn't that cute?" Danny smiles.

"That's adorable! They're probably so used to being confined in your belly that they can't sleep without being together." Dorothy says.

"Oh yeah! That's probably why they're like that!" Jessica looks at Danny.

"Oh yeah." Danny says with sleepy eyes.

Jessica giggles and says, "We are so exhausted! Can you tell?"

"I can! You poor things!"

The babies start fussing so Jane helps Jessica with her nursing cover, and Jessica feeds them."

"Oh shoot! I can't even eat, will you stick that piece of toast in my mouth, Danny."

Danny feeds her and Dorothy laughs.

"Look at my baby being fed as she feeds her babies!"

A few days have past and it's still just as difficult.

"I thought the first night would be the hardest and then somehow they form a schedule."

"If only it were that easy, baby girl." Dorothy rubs Jessica's back.

"I love them but they wear me out!"

"I understand, and I wish I could say it gets easier, but I can't."

"Wow, thanks mom."

"I'm just playing! Uh, of course it gets easier.."

"Just stop lying to me you old woman!"

"Jessica!" Dorothy's eyes widen and she spanks her butt.

"Owe! Stop that!" She laughs and grabs her butt.

"Oh shoot! I forgot I need to go by the school and pick up yours and Danny's homework!"

"Mom, I have two new babies, I don't have time for school right now."

"Jessica Phyllis Lange!"

"Don't forget Huston." Jessica smiles.

Her mom gives her a look and continues.

"Jessica, you have to do your work because then you will not graduate! You didn't come all this way not to walk across that stage."

"Walk across the stage? Like this?!" Jessica holds her arms out.

"No.. I can't." She nods.

"What are you talking about?"

"I don't look like myself and I'm not going anywhere where I will be the center of attention."

"Jessica, are you serious? This is your graduation."

"I know that, but they can send me my diploma, I don't have to go. I'll stay with the babies and you all can go and support Danny."

"Jessica, this is what you have worked for since the day you went into preschool. Your father and I have always dreamed of this day, you will be at that graduation."

"No mom!"

Elaina starts crying so Jessica picks her up and starts feeding her.

"Will you just think about it, please? I can't imagine you not going to your graduation." Dorothy says tearing up.

"Mom it's fine!" Jessica says picking Emilia up and taking them both upstairs.

She passes George on the stairs and he covers his eyes.

"Jessica stop!"

"I'm feeding my baby, George!"

"Mom, tell her to stop doing that!" He whines.

"George it's a natural thing and her babies have to eat. Just grow up!"

George rolls his eyes and walks to the door.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"Billy's house."

"Um no! Is your homework done?"

"Almost."

"Go upstairs and finish it!"

George groans and walks back upstairs.

Jessica was still standing at the top of the stairs and started laughing at him.

"Shut up!" He says before he slams his door waking Emilia up.

"Oh dammit! George!" Jessica yells going to her room.

"Shh shh, you're okay Emi.. You're okay, pretty girl!
Where is your daddy with yours and sissy's diapers and mommy's food? He's taking too long, isn't he?" She says in a cute voice.

As Jessica talks Emilia starts to calm down.

"Yeah you're okay, pretty girl.." Jessica speaks in a soothing voice and smiles down at her daughter.

Emilia looks into Jessica's eyes and makes her lips into a tiny "O" shape.

"You two are the most adorable little girls I have ever seen!" Jessica tears up.

"Mommy loves you both so so much!"

"Hey baby, I'm back."

"Shh! They're both asleep!" Jessica whisperers.

"Oh sorry! Here's your food."

"Let's go eat downstairs so we don't have to be so quiet." She says grabbing the baby monitor.

Jessica checks on the girls then tip toes out of their room.

"Jess-"

"Shh! Just because we can talk now doesn't mean I want to."

"Okay.."

"I'm sorry, I'm just exhausted.." She sighs.

"It's okay, I understand, baby girl." He rubs her shoulder and kisses her cheek.

Danny gets the food out and they sit down on the couch to eat.

"Jess."

"Hm?"

"I was talking to your mom, and she was telling me that you're not wanting to go to graduation."

"Yeah, and that's my decision so don't try and change it."

"Okay. Just hear me out.
You and I have worked so hard. We've been through so much just this one year together. High school has not been easy especially for you. I mean you were pregnant with twins! I just think going to graduation you'll feel a great sense of pride when you walk across that stage."

"I feel pride when I look at my girls, I don't need to go to feel that."

"Come on Jess, I can't graduate without my beautiful wife beside me."

"How many people can say that?" Jessica chuckles.

"Not many are as lucky as me." He smiles.

Jessica smiles, then says, "Danny.. It's just..
I don't even recognize my own body anymore. These boobs aren't mine, this stomach isn't mine, this ass and puffy face isn't mine.

It sounds stupid but I was always known as the pretty girl.. The sexy girl. Even though I never liked the attention, now I know I'm gonna get attention but for the wrong reasons. They'll whisper about my body, and about how I'm a slut for getting pregnant.. and I just don't want to go and hear that. All that matters to me in this world is you and my girls. Nothing and no one else." Jessica says with tears slowly falling down her face.

Danny scoots next to her and wraps his arm around her.

"Jessica, first of all you are not a slut. Don't listen to what people say, because it's not true. You got pregnant in your senior year of high school.. Big deal! It's not the end of the world. You are an amazing mother and you are beautiful. I don't want to hear you speak badly about your body ever again. You are beautiful and your body is perfect."

"I don't you look like that same girl you fell in love with." She cries softly.

"That's right. You don't."

"What?" Jessica looks at him.

Danny smiles and says, "You're even more beautiful than she is. I mean that, baby girl.

Your body is perfect because it made our two perfect little girls. You really amaze me, Jessica. Your belly held them for nine long, long months.. You worked so hard to bring them into this world.. Watching that was unbelievable! You feed them with milk you make yourself."

Jessica chuckles.

"Your boobs, your butt, your thighs.. Your arms, fingers and toes.. Your beautiful face." Danny says softly caressing her cheek.

"Everything about you is beautiful."

Jessica looks into his eyes and and Danny looks at her lips, then back into her eyes.

"Don't you ever say you're not beautiful or sexy, because that, my beautiful wife.. Couldn't be farther from the truth."

Jessica's bottom lip quivers and she grabs his face and kisses him softly.

"I love you.. I love you.. I love you.." Danny mumbles.

"You're perfect, Jessica."

"Oh Daniel Huston.. I love you, baby." Jessica says just inches away from his face, with her hands on his warm cheeks.
