"What does it say?"

"I sat it down and washed my hands then came out here. So I don't know."

"Weren't you careful, Jessica?"

"With the test?"

"Oh my gosh, when you were having sex, Jessica! Were you and Danny not careful?"

"We were!
.. There might have been one time we weren't, but that was just ONCE!"

"It only takes once, sis."

"I know!" Jessica sighs.

"It's hard right now, Jane. I mean I know I can do it. I'm a damn good mom and I can handle one more. But.. Life will be even crazier than it is now, and I just didn't think it could get any crazier!"

"And you have some wild ass girls."

"Don't be mean to them right in front of their faces, Jane!"

"I'm not being mean, they no they're wild. Don't you girls?"

Elaina makes a face and spits towards Jane.

Jessica laughs. "She doesn't like when you talk about her and her sis."

"I'm sorry, bubs." Jane softly pinches Elaina's chubby thigh.

"Ahhhh!"

"Oh my goodness!  You are a little toot!"

Elaina fusses and kicks her legs.

Jessica chuckles and softly bounces her up and down.

"Do you want me to check the test, Jess?"

"Will you, please?"

"Of course."

Jane takes the test and walks back to the bedroom.

"Uh Jess?"

"What does it say?"

"It says it's negative."

"Oh God, thank you!"

"But underneath it is says three plus weeks."

"What! Why?!"

"I don't know, maybe it's just a faulty test."

"Dammit!"

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Thank you for your help, Jane.  I really appreciate it."

"No problem. Maybe you should call your doctor and make an appointment. I can go with you if Danny doesn't want to."

"I don't know what's wrong with him. We'll have to talk whenever he decides to come home."

Jane smiles softly and hugs her sister.

"Ahhhh!" Elaina screams pushing her aunt away while Emilia crawls over and hits her legs.

"MAMA! MAMA!" She cries.

"Hey she was my sister being being your Mama!"

Jessica laughs and shakes her head.
"They are a mess!!"

After their very eventful morning, Jessica took the girls down so she could eat.

"Honey?  Where did Danny go?" Dorothy asks.

"He went for a drive."

"Oh.. is everything okay?"

"Yes, everything's fine." Jessica smiles as she puts the twins in their high chairs.

Both girls start crying.

"Stop it, you're fine.  I'm right here!"

"I'm surprised Elaina wants you, she's a daddy's girl!" Dorothy smiles.

"I know, I don't know what's up with them."

"Oh my God, you're pregnant!" Dorothy says in a loud tone.

"Why would you say that?"

"That's why everyone is being weird and why Danny left, or why these girls are being so clingy!"

".... No."

"Jessica Lange."

"Fine!"

"You're pregnant?"

"I don't know!"

"Did you take a test?"

"I took two."

"Oh Christ." Dorothy places her palm on her forehead.

"The first one was positive, the second was negative but also said three plus weeks, so I don't know!"

"Have you made an appointment to see your doctor?"

"Not yet, can you please call for me?" Jessica asks in a low voice.

"Yes.  So Danny got mad?  That's why he left?"

"He's just stressed."

"So are you.  You didn't run away from your problems."

"I can't even make a bowl of cereal!" Jessica cries as the girls continue screaming for their mother.

Dorothy sighs and walks over to her.
"It's okay, honey.  Breathe."

"I'm scared, mom."

"I know.  That's understandable, sweetie."

"And Danny acts like I did it all on purpose!  It's his fault!"

"Both of you are to blame."

"I don't even know where he is!  It's our first wedding anniversary and he's not here!"

"Sweetie, I'm sorry." Dorothy rubs her back.

Just then Danny walks in with flowers and Jessica's favorite candy.

Jessica turns and sees him standing there nervously.

"Hey.." He smiles softly.

"Hi.... Are those Kit Kat's?"

"Jessica, I'm so sorry. I was wrong for just walking out, and I feel terrible. It's not just about me. I was selfish."

"Are those Kit Kat's?" Jessica slightly raises her voice.

"Yes!  These flowers are for you too."

"Thank you.."

Danny walks towards her. "Let's start over.
.. Happy Anniversary, baby."

Jessica smiles softly. "Happy Anniversary."

The two share a kiss.

"Aww!" Dorothy melts.

Jessica turns and gives her a look.

"I'm sorry!"

Jessica chuckles and turns back to Danny.
"She knows."

"Oh.  She does?"

"Yeah.."

"I'm sorry!" Danny says in a nervous tone.

Jessica laughs.

"Jessica, I love you.. and I love this baby.  We'll have to work even harder but.. We're Hustons, we can do it."

Jessica smiles.
"I took another test but it was faulty so I'm gonna make an appointment."

Danny nods. "Okay.  I'll be there with you."

"Thank you.." Jessica says in a low voice.

Danny smiles and hugs her tightly.

Jessica couldn't help but silently cry.
She was so nervous.  Of course she would love this baby, and they would do whatever it takes to make it work.  But three kids under two while being under twenty years old, and in school is a lot to think about.
