Two weeks later.

Morning sickness has officially hit Jessica.

"Girls, please stop crying! Mommy feels so sick!" Jessica cries.

"Jessica, do you need help?" Dorothy knocks on the door.

"Yes, please take them!" Jessica sobs.

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"I have morning sickness, and the girls are bothering me!"

"Aw I'm so sorry!"

"I have to get to school.. ugh and I have to see dumb Daniel! I don't want to!"

"Sweetheart, I don't like seeing you cry."

"I'm just so tired.."

"I know.. I'm so sorry."

"Mama! Mama!" The twins cry.

"Babes, I have to leave. Mama has to go to school."

"DADA!" Eliana pouts.

"I know you want dada. You always want dada."

"Dada! Dada! Dada!"

"I know, I'm sorry." Jessica then gives her mother a look. "Stupid Danny!"

"I know.. do you have time to rest a little before you leave?"

"No, I have to leave now." Jessica cries softly.

"I feel so bad for you, sweetie."

"Me too.." She says in a high pitched voice.

A few hours later.

"Jess!"

"Yeah?"

"You've ignored me all day. What's up?"

"You don't get it, Daniel. I'm mad at you right now!"

"But why? You're the one who doesn't want me at the house."

"Because you left! Start acting like a husband and father, and maybe I'll let you come back."

"Can I take you on a date?"

"No."

"Then what do you want from me?"

"I want you to grow up, Daniel." Jessica walks off.

"Jessica, wait!" Danny grabs her arm.

Jessica looks at his hand on her arm, then looks into his eyes. "You can let go of me."

"I'm sorry. I miss you, Jessie.  I want to talk."

"Well I don't want everyone in our business, let's go somewhere else." Jessica sighs.

The two walk to the corner and sit down.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Like shit.  I have morning sickness all day long, and the girls have been extra fussy lately."

"That sucks, I'm sorry."

".. The girls birthday is this weekend.. are you coming to their party?"

"Of course!  I wouldn't miss it!"

"Okay.."

"So last night I went out with James, remember him?"

"Yeah.."

"Well we ran into Heidi Davy from school.. she is now Heidi Topaz."

"What?  Why?"

"She's a stripper!" Danny laughs.

Jessica's blood started boiling.
"You went to a strip club?"

"Well.. yeah but I didn't know that's where we were going!  He just took me there!"

Jessica chuckles and nods her head. "Wow."

"What?"

"How can you change so much so quickly?"

"I haven't changed."

"This is not the man I married.  This is not the father of my children." Jessica stands and grabs her things.

"Watch your bag, it's heavy."

"Oh like you fucking care!  You make me sick, Daniel!  Whoever this new you is Sucks!  Figure your life out or stay gone."

Jessica leaves him sitting there alone.
