The next morning Jessica woke up and got ready for her morning with the girls.

Danny helped her out and got the kids up and fed.  When Jessica got out of the shower she came down to the kitchen.

"Good morning everyone."

"Morning, sweetie." Dorothy kisses her cheek.

"Hi mama!" The twins say in unison.

"Hello gorgeous girls!"

"Mama day today?" Elaina asks.

"You remembered!" Jessica smiles.

"They're excited!" Danny says placing his hand on Jessica's back and kissing her head.

"So am I!"

"We go back to slide?" Elaina asks sweetly.

"Is that where you wanna go?  You just went there yesterday, but if you want to go back that's fine with me."

"Go!  Go!  Go!" Emilia shouts lifting her small fists in the air.

"Looks like you girls really enjoyed that place.  Alright, we'll go!"

"YAAAAAY!" They cheer.

"And then we can get some yummy food!"

"I lub yummy food!" Elaina says.

"I lub Mommy!" Emilia smiles sweetly.

"Aww, I love you too, Princess.  I love both of you!"

One hour later.

"The slide!  Slide wih me, mommy!" Elaina pulls Jessica's hand.

"I'm coming!"

Thankfully the healing process has been much easier this time around.  Jessica is still sore of course, but it's not nearly as bad.

"Ahhh!  Weeee!" Emilia giggles. "Dis fun, Mama!" Elaina shouts with excitement.

"It's SO fun!"

"Gen!  Gen!"

"You and sissy can go again, mommy has to take it easy."

"Mama hurt?"

"Just a little bit.  I'm okay, don't worry, beautiful."

"Kay I gonna go gen wih sissy!  Come Emi!" Eliana takes her sister's hand."

"Aw you're such sweet girls!" Jessica smiles.  She couldn't wait until all three of her girls were together.

Morning playtime and a quick bite to eat made the girls so happy.  Once all that was finished Jessica took the twins to Target.

"What we buying, mama?" Elaina asks.  She was for sure the more talkative twin.

"We're gonna buy some finger paints so you can make a welcome home sign for Jovi."

"YAY!  She come home now?"

"Not quite yet, but soon!"

"Kay!"

Jessica smiles and says, "Girls, since we're having a super fun mommy and daughters day, momma is gonna you each One toy."

"Toys?!" Emilia's eyes light up.

"One toy." Jessica smiles.

"Two!" Elaina smiles.

"Nuh uh, I said one." She laughs.

"Kay, tree!"

"One!  I said One!"

"KAY!"

Jessica laughs and nods her head. "When did you grow up?  You speak so well, and you even know your numbers!  You're like a little lady!"

"Ya!" Elaina laughs.

"Dada, we home!" Elaina shouts as they walk in the house with their little shopping bags from Target.  The girls loved holding their own bag.

"Dada's at the hospital with sissy, remember?"

"Oh forgot!"

"It's okay." Jessica giggles. "Mom, I bought the girls each a toy to play with and some finger paints."

"Oh great!  More mess." Dorothy smiles softly.

Jessica chuckles softly. "I'm just telling you.  Please do not to let them get into the paint until Danny and I get home.  We're gonna make Jovi a welcome home sign."

"But her no come home now, Gamma." Elaina says.

"Not yet baby, but soon your mommy and daddy will bring her home!" Dorothy says picking her up.

Elaina looks in her grandmothers eyes with a straight face. "Put me down." She says.

Jessica couldn't help but crack up. "Elaina!" She laughs.

"It's okay, she's her own girl and this girl does not like to be touched!" Dorothy laughs. "She's so funny."

"She's a mess."

Since arriving at home Emilia has yet to let go of Jessica's hand.

Jessica looks down to her baby girl. "What's the matter, sweet girl?" She asks when she sees Emilia's sad eyes.

"Sad." Her bottom lip quivers.

"Why, Princess?" Jessica baby talks.

"No wan yew to go."

"Aw honey bunch, I'll be back in a few hours."

Emilia lays her forehead on Jessica's thigh and nods. "No go.  No go."

"I have to go see sissy and pick up daddy.  You don't want daddy to be stuck there, do you?" Jessica lifts her.

"No.."

Jessica rubs Emilia's back and kisses her cheek. "Don't be sad.  Play with your new toy and have fun!  Uncle George will be home from school soon and you can show him this awesome toy mommy bought you!" Jessica smiles. "He always cheers you up, huh?  You love your Uncle George!"

"Ya.." Emilia looks down but can't hide the small smile growing on her face.

"You cutie!" Jessica tickles and kisses Emilia making her laugh.

"MAMA!" Emilia squeals.

"Okay mom.. I'm leaving."

"Alright.. are you okay?"

Jessica takes a deep breath and finally let's her tears out.

Dorothy sighs and takes her daughter in her arms. "I'm sorry, sweetheart."

"Next week is Thanksgiving.  My girls aren't gonna be together on Thanksgiving."

"Oh sweetie.. that's a whole week away.  Maybe she'll be home by then!"

"I don't know.."

Dorothy rubs her back and sighs. "I don't even know what to say to make you feel better.. I feel so helpless."

"Don't.  It's okay.  There's nothing anyone can say.  All I want to hear is, Mrs. Huston you can take your baby home.  That's it."

"She's getting stronger.. I pray she's home soon.  Everyone just wants to meet her."

"I know.  Mom, she's already changed so much since she's been born." Jessica cries harder. "This isn't fair!"

"Jessica, she's still here.  I know things are tough, but they could be so much worse.  She's here and she's fighting."

"I know.. I just wish she didn't have to go through this.  I want my baby home.  I don't want to have to split up our time.. I just want my girls together."
