Sixteen weeks pregnant...

Danny has started working with Jessica's dad, and is almost finished with football season.

"Wake up, baby.. We're gonna be late for school." Danny tries waking her up.
"No!  I don't wanna go!"
"I know you don't, but just one more day and it's Thanksgiving break."
"But Danny!" She whines.
"Baby don't do this.. You know I wish we both could just stay in bed all day, but we can't.  We have to go to school and get an education for our babies." He rubs her stomach.
"How about you go and I just be the dumb mommy."
"Jessica."
"Danny!"
"Fine." He goes downstairs to grab some breakfast and Dorothy asks, "Where's Jessica?"
"She doesn't want to go.  I'm gonna give her a few more minutes and then go try to wake up again."
"Tell her if she doesn't get up, then she's in trouble."
"Okay." He laughs.

Danny goes back upstairs, eating a banana and says, "Babe, your mom said you're in trouble if you don't get up."
"Ugh!  I'm pregnant!  Why can't I just stay home?!"
"Because you're seventeen and you're still in high school."
"Oh shut up!" She says standing up and walking into the bathroom.

At school...

"Jessica!  How are the babies today?!" Sarah smiles.
"Good.  Just growing super fast." She smiles.
"I can see that!" She holds the sides of her stomach.
"I'm sure you're ready for Thanksgiving break, so you can rest."
"Oh definitely!  Danny's having his last game of the season tonight, so it'll be good!  We can both rest."
"Yeah.  So, are you ready Dan?  The last game of your high school career!"
"I am!  It's bitter sweet."
Jessica wraps her arm around him and lays on his chest.
"You'll still be able to play.  You can get accepted into the University of Minnesota and you'll be the best football player on the team."
"Fingers crossed!" He smiles and kisses her forehead.
"You two are so cute.  I still can't believe you're pregnant, Jessica."
"Right?!  Before we started dating, everyone always thought you'd be the one to get knocked up." Evan tells her.
"Jessica told me that too!  But I was a virgin till you came along!"
Jessica laughs and says, "Well, these things happen and it could've happen to anyone."
"That's right.. But we're happy, right baby?" Danny looks own at her.
"That's right!" She smiles and goes up on her tip toes to give him a kiss.
"Hey!  When do you guys find out what you're having?!"
"Two weeks." Jessica smiles.
"Ah!  Oh my gosh, it's so close!  I can't wait!"
"Neither can I!  I just want to start buying them things!  We haven't bought anything for them, cause we want to wait until we find out."
"Well you don't have that much longer!"
"I know!" Jessica bounces and hugs Danny tighter.

While in class Jessica gets a small flutter in her stomach.
She looks down and puts her hand on her bump.
Danny sits at the desk next to her so she gently kicked his leg and whispered, "I think one of the babies just moved!"
"No way!  Are you serious?!" Danny quickly kneels beside her and holds her stomach.
"Daniel, what are you doing?" His teacher asks.
"Hey, my babies are moving!  Cool it!" He lifts his hand for her to calm down.
Jessica laughs and says, "I don't think you'll be able to feel it right now, they're still too small."
"Oh.. But still!  That's so cool that you can feel them!" He smiles up at her.
"I know.. It's like.. They're really in there!" She laughs.
"Yep!  They are!  We did this." He looks at her stomach, then looks up at her.
"We sure did.." She smiles and puts her palm on his cheek.
She bends down to kiss his lips then he gives two kisses to her stomach.
He stands up and takes his seat, "Go ahead with your lesson, Mrs. Rodriguez." He smiles at his teacher.
"Thank you, Mr. Huston."

After school Jessica ran into the house and said, "I felt the babies move today!"
"Ah! You did?!" Jane gets excited.
"Oh baby! That's so great! The feeling is amazing, isn't it?"
"Yes! Oh my gosh mom, it.. It was unbelievable! I actually have something in there! I'm not just gaining weight!" She smiles.
"No you're not." Dorothy laughs and puts her hand on her stomach.
"Two more weeks until you find out!"
"I know!  Ah, I can't wait!  I need to call Anne, she has an appointed today to hopefully find out what she's having."
"That's right!  The baby had its legs crossed the last time."
"Yeah.  But knowing her, she's gonna make us wait until she gets here on Sunday."
"Oh I'm sure she will!"

A little while later Sarah came to pick her up so they could go to the game.

"Ready to see our guys play their last game?"
"I'm so ready! Let's go!" She grabs her purse and yells out, "Ma, we're leaving!"
"Alright, you girls be careful!"
"We will!"

"Woo! GO DANNY!!" Jessica cheers him on, then turns to Sarah and says, "Look at my boy! He's so amazing!"
"Yes he is."
Jessica smiles as she watches him do what he loves.
"Go Daniel! That's my baby daddy!" She yells proudly.

Danny took his helmet off and ran up to where Jessica was sitting.
He pushed himself up and she bent down to kiss him.
"I love you!" He smiles.
"I love you more!"
He quickly ran back, and Jessica turned around and yelled, "That's my baby!"

At the end of the game Danny called Jessica down to the field.
"You were amazing baby! Number forty five on the field and number one in my heart!" She hugs him.
"Oh baby!" He smiles and hugs her back.

He takes her hands and looked into her eyes, "Jessica, I know this isn't how either one of us planed for our senior year to be, but I am so blessed for you and my babies. I love you more than anything in this world. Thank you for loving me."
"Oh Daniel.. I love you!" She smiles then hugs him tight.
He gives her a deep kiss, then picks her up and yells, "This is my girl! Eat your hearts out, guys! She's mine!" He smiles with so much pride.
Jessica laughs, then holds his cheeks and gives him a kiss.

After the game, they all went out to eat.

"Jessie, you can out eat the whole football team!" One of Danny's teammates says.
She laughs and says, "You bet your ass, I can!"
"That's my girl!" Danny wraps his arm around her and pulls her close.

After they eat, Danny drives her over to the cabin.

"Danny, I'm so proud of you. I know that one day all of your dreams will come true."
"They already have." He looks at her.
"Oh Danny." She smiles.
"It's been a crazy few months, but we have gotten so strong, and I can't wait to see what we do next." He holds her hand.
"We have. I love you, Danny."
"I love you more, baby girl." He leans in and kisses her.

Sunday.
They were right, Anne made them wait until she got back to Minnesota.
When she and her fiancé walked in Anne yelled out, "I'm home!"
"Anne!" Jessica runs over to her.
"Look at you!" She smiles and hugs her.
"Me? Look at you! Jessica, you're bigger than me!" She pulls away and looks at her belly.
"I'm having twins, leave me alone!" She holds her stomach.
"Oh but you're so cute!" She rubs Jessica's belly.
"Thank you! So are you!" She pokes Anne's stomach before she looks at Zach and says, "Well.. Are you gonna introduce us, Anne?"
"Oh yeah! Jess, this is Zach, Zach this is my little sister, Jessica.. Although she's not so little anymore!" She pokes her.
"Oh shut up! Hi Zach, it's nice to meet you." She smiles and shakes his hand.
"Nice to meet you too, Jessica."
"YOU GUYS GET DOWN HERE, ANNE'S HOME!" Jessica yells.
"Ha! Please excuse her, she's a bit loud." Anne tells him.
"It's okay! I see the family resemblance." He laughs.

They all run down stairs and run to hug Anne.
"Anne! Look at my baby!" Dorothy hugs her tight.
"Oh mom! I've missed you!"
"You missed me?!" She smiles.
"Yes! I miss all of you guys. Where's daddy?"
"He's on his way home right now."
"Oh good! And where's Danny?"
"He works with daddy, remember?"
"Oh that's right! That's good that those two are getting closer."
"I know." Jessica smiles then looks at Zach.
"Oh! You guys, this is Zach. Say hi, Zach."
"Hi everybody." He smiles.
"Oh he's cute!" Jane smiles.
"I think so too.. Obviously!" She laughs and touches her stomach.
They laugh and George says, "Isn't Anne like a month further along than Jessie?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Well Jessica's almost bigger than Anne!" He looks at their stomachs.
"George!"
"Georgie, she's having twins, leave her alone." Dorothy tells him.
"Yeah George, leave me alone!" Jessica tells him as Albert and Danny walk in.

"Hey!"
"Daddy!" She hugs him.
"Anne, you've grown!"
"I know!" She laughs.
"Daddy, this is Zach." She smiles.
"Hello sir."
"Hello Zach. It's nice to finally meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, sir."
Danny chuckles and says, "Hi Anne."
"Hey Danny! How are you?"
"I'm good, thanks. Zach. Nice to meet you." He shakes his hand.
"Nice to meet you too."

"Hey baby." He walks over to kiss Jessica.
"Hi babe, how was work?"
"Good, but I missed you."
"I missed you too!" She hugs him.

"So Anne! Tell us!" Jane says.
"Yeah Anne, come on!" Jessica yells.
"Tell you what?" Anne plays dumb.
"Come on, stupid!" George says.
"George, stop!" Dorothy hits the back of his head.
"Tell us!" She adds.
"Okay." Anne smiles and looks at Zach.
"... It's a boy!"
"Ah!" They all scream.
"Oh my gosh, I'm gonna be an aunt! I'm gonna have a nephew!" Jessica cries.
"Aw, Jessie!"
"I'm so excited! I've always wanted to be an aunt!"
"You're gonna be a great aunt!" Anne hugs her.
"So am I!" Jane says.
"Yes you will!" Anne chuckles and holds her arm out for her to join their hug.
