August 29th.
30 weeks pregnant.

"Joooo-Viiii!"

"Boooo-Bieeeees!"

Jessica laughs. "No that's not her name, silly!
  Say Jovi Lynn!  Ooh She kicked!  She knows we're talking about her, Emi!"

Emilia laughs.

"Gorsh!  Gorsh!" Elaina runs around in her diaper searching for her uncle.

"Sweetie, uncle George is still at school."

Elaina throws herself on the ground and cries.
"GORSH!"

"Honey, he'll be home soon."

Just then the doorbell rings.

"Oh look!  Auntie Sarah is here with your BFF Weston!"

"NOOOOO!" She cries.

Jessica chuckles and walks to the front door.

"Hey!"

"Hi Sarah!  Hey little buddy!"

"Ahhh!" Weston giggles.

Sarah chuckles and walks in.
"Hi girls!"

"Not Gorsh!" Elaina kicks Sarah.

"Hey!  No ma'am!" Jessica grabs her hand and pulls her away. I'm sorry, Sarah! Elaina, say you're sorry."

"No Mom."

Sarah laughs. "Mom? Wow she's grown now, huh?"

"She thinks she is!"

Sarah laughs as she sits Weston down on the ground and makes her way to the couch.

"How's baby Jovi?" She smiles and holds Jessica's bump.

"She's playing in there. She's moving around like crazy!"

"Aw I see that!" Sarah laughs.
"Jess, her name is so beautiful. I'm still not over it."

Jessica smiles. "Thank you!
Jovial means cheerful so we chose Jovi. We all need to be cheerful when this little Princess is born. She's going to be just fine.
She'll be okay. I have to say that and it'll come true."

"Of course! She's a little fighter."

"Like my Weston." Jessica smiles to Weston.

"Exactly! Remember how scared I was? And now look at him... dancing with Emi!" Sarah laughs at the two dancing to the music in their heads.

Jessica chuckles softly. "We have two little heart warriors now."

"We do! Ah! They're meant to be!"

"Stop!" Jessica laughs.

October 10th.
36 weeks.

"Ow." Jessica sits back and sighs as she feels a pain in her side.

"Look at this beauty.  Thirsty six weeks pregnant and still working hard in school!" Danny smiles.

Jessica gives him a look from hell.

"She is not happy with you!" Evan laughs.

"I'm so uncomfortable!  She's coming soon and it's all becoming so real." Jessica cries into her hands.

"And we have to go out to dinner tonight and I'm not in the mooood!" She cries harder.

"Aw baby girl." Danny wraps his arm around her.

"Do not touch me please."

"Sorry."

Jessica takes a deep breath.

"The girls have been so bad lately.  Neither one have been sleeping through the night.
  I have so much pain.  One baby is still hard, and I didn't think it would be.  We're all cramped in my room.  The girls have their own room but never sleep in it! This baby is coming and we don't have anything ready for her!
And I know she's going to have surgery.." Jessica looks down as she feels even more tears coming.

"I'm not ready for that.  I just want her to come out and they see she's perfectly fine."

"Maybe that will happen!" Sarah says.

Jessica let's out a sob. "I just wish I could've protected her.."

"You are!  This is just the journey God created for her." Sarah says.

"Sarah's right, honey."

Jessica wipes her cheeks.
"Life is so hard. I didn't think being a parent would be so difficult."

"It's difficult but it's the most rewarding job, isn't it?" Evan says.

Jessica sniffles and chuckles very softly.
"It is. I love my girls and I would do anything for them. If I could I'd take all of Jovi's heart problems so she could have the most perfect little heart.. I would do anything to take that away from her."
