November 25th.
Two weeks and three days old.

Jessica is extra emotional this week.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and her little family will be separated.

"Mommy, why you cwy mama?" Emilia asks her mother as she climbs on top of her.

"I just want you girls to meet your baby sister."

"Me wan baby sishy tooooo!  Me be her bes fwien."

"Aw Emi, you're so sweet."

"Mama see baby Jovi?"

"Yes.  Daddy and I are about to go visit her for a little while."

"Me go?"

"Aw baby, I wish you and Lainey could.  But you're to little.. they won't allow it."

"Shad." Emilia pouts.

"Don't be sad.  Sister will be home soon."

"Yeah.." Emilia says in a low voice as she cuddles into her mother.

"Aw my precious girl.  I love you, baby." Jessica kisses the top of her head and holds her baby girl in her arms.

"Me lub mama."

Jessica smiles and holds her a little tighter.

Danny and Jessica walked hand in hand up to the NICU.  Jessica smiled as she was met with her baby girl.

"Good morning beautiful!  Oh my goodness, every day something else is taken off of you and I can see more and more of your beautiful face!"

"Yes momma, she is doing so well!  Miss Jovi even has a Thanksgiving surprise for you and daddy.  Don't you, precious?" Jovi's nurse says.

"A surprise?" Jessica smiles. "Can I change her diaper?!"

"Even better!  Jovi tell mommy and daddy to save you a seat at Thanksgiving dinner because you're going home!"

"What!" Jessica immediately started crying.
This day had been pushed back, and pushed back, but now it's finally here.

"We get to take her home?"

"Yes ma'am! Tomorrow morning!"

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica smiles up to Danny. Danny had tears in his eyes, and a smile on his face.

"Our girl is coming home, Danny!" Jessica hugs him.

"Wow.. The girls are gonna be so happy."

"I know!!"

Jessica then releases Danny and goes over to her daughter. "You better get ready for some craziness, little girl. You're about to meet your big sisters!"

"They don't make them any crazier than them!" Danny chuckles through his tears.

A few hours later Danny and Jessica returned home.  They told their parents about Jovi, but left it a secret to everyone else.

That evening Danny and Jessica had craft time with the twins. They were finally making their welcome home sign for Jovi.

"Wow!  Look how good mommy's doing, girls."

"So good!" Emilia claps.

"DADA MINES GOOD!" Elaina shouts.

Danny chuckles. "Hey stink, I think yours is beautiful too."

"Ya mine BES!"

"No mama's Bes!" Emilia says to her sister.

"NO MINES!" Elaina pushes her.

"Girls stop it!  Elaina, there is no pushing in this house." Jessica gives her a very stern look.

"Mines bes, mama."

"Both of yours is the best.  Now come on, let's finish sissy's sign."

"Me wan sishy to come home!  Me hep!" Emilia says with a smile.

"Aw you're so sweet!  I know you'll be a great big helper, huh Emi?"

"Ya mama!"

"Laina, are you gonna help with the baby?" Danny asks.

"No."

"Why not?"

Elaina looks to Danny and lifts her paint covers finger to his lips. "Shhh Dada.  Me workin'."

Jessica cracks up laughing at the pink paint on her husband's lips.

"You look beautiful, honey."

"Thanks babe."

"I say SHHH!"

"Alright!" Danny says making Jessica laugh harder.

"Jesus, what happened to Lainey in her year and a half of life that she's so mean to daddy."

"She's like a grown woman in a teeny tiny body." Jessica says.

"She sure is.  And Emi is the total opposite."

"She's a sweetheart like me." Jessica smiles.

"Oh gosh!" Danny rolls his eyes.

"Hey! You butt! I am a sweetheart!"

"Alright."

"Jerk!" Jessica says taking her paint brush and running it along the side of his face.

"Oh wow Jess."

Jessica is now laughing hysterically.

"Dada mess! Dada mess!" Emilia stomps her little feet. She then reaches towards her father.

"Oh why not? You two have already done it, why not let Em join the fun?" Danny leans towards Emilia and she slams her hands down on his face.

Emilia let's out the sweetest little belly laugh as she repeatedly slaps her tiny hands on his face.

Jessica laughs and snaps pictures of the girls messing with their daddy.

"You three are too sweet.  I can't wait to get a picture of you guys and Jovi."

"YEAH!" Emilia cheers.

"Soon she'll be home." Danny smiles.

"Yep!  And she'll complete our beautiful family."

"Yes!
.. Well.."

"Well what?" Jessica gives Danny a look.

"I want a boy."

"Now?"

"No!  Oh God no!  But in ten years I want a boy."

"Alright.  Deal." Jessica smiles and shakes his hand.

"Watch you get pregnant with girl triplets."

Jessica cracks up laughing. "I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that happened."

"I've gotta google how to make a boy."

"You do that, hun."
