Previously on Teen Wolf:

Scott played his first lacrosse game, as first-line, and well, it wasn't a total disaster... right? Though Scott was cutting it close to turning on the field, he managed to save himself by running off to the locker rooms - it may or may not also have helped that a certain young lady shot out one of the field lights and caused scene, but it's all the same to Scott. The night went a lot better than he'd expected; Allison found him in the locker room and they kissed - full on smooching - but his happiness is short-lived when Stiles comes in and tells him that Derek was released.

"Medical examiner determines killer of girl to be animal, not human. Derek's human not animal. Derek not killer. Derek let out of jail..."

... and pretty much getting ready to kill them for imprisoning him in the first place.

"My dad ID'd the dead girl - both halves - her name was Laura Hale."

"Derek's sister."

But after Scott has a very real nightmare, he needs Derek's help more than anything. There was an incident with the bus driver at the school, and Scott's worried he might have been the one to attack him.

Stiles has to convince Scott that he is not a monster, that he doesn't have to put his life on hold because he didn't attack the bus driver. But Scott is not too sure, so he goes to Derek, who teaches him that retracing his steps might help him remember what's happened. Only, it leaves him even more confused, as he learns that there is an Alpha, one who's trying to recruit him. The one who turned him. Turns out it wasn't Derek after all, and  this is where Derek's 'favour' comes in.

"My sister came here looking for him, now I'm trying to find him. But I don't think I can do it without you.
You're the one he wants."

At this point, the Alpha could be anyone, especially with all the newcomers in town.

But let's not be unwelcoming, shall we? Hopefully they'll find Beacon Hills as... charming as in the brochures.

What we're going to do:

Seeing as Mr. Obelisk has so kindly taken over for your old English teacher while he is away, your speeches are still due. Please don't give him too much trouble.

As this is a new part and a lot more can happen with our OCs, I am opening up all the other chains again for role-playing! What will happen in this chapter is: everyone who's friends with Lydia, Jackson, Allison and the others goes bowling - so much for that date, hey, Scott? -. Then, we have those English speeches (if you need to be assigned a partner, let me know, and please take part as this is to help you get to know the other OCs better, too), and Scott trying to figure out this nightmare/Alpha business.

The chapter will end with a bang, of course: Kate Argent is back in town, too, and she's ready to play!
