PART 11

Scott and I walked into his room. Melissa was checking Stiles. When we entered they both looked at us.

"Is she here?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah." Scott replied.

"Okay, let's do this." Stiles spoke.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, we have to do this."

"Fine." I lowered my gaze.

Scott and I help Stiles up and downstairs . There was Noshiko in the living room waiting for us.

"Do you recognize me, hmm?" Noshiko asked looking at Stiles and he nodded.

"Stop." Kira walked in.

"It's okay. I'm the one who asked her to come." Stiles spoke approaching Noshiko.

"You are the one who's going to get stabbed with swords." Kira spoke worried.

I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Mom, don't do this to him."

"It's already done." Noshiko spoke and the oni appeared.

I stepped back. One of the oni grabbed Stiles' neck and his eyes glowed. It was checking him like they did to all of us.

They marked him and Stiles fell to the ground. It worked. I quickly ran up to him and grabbed his face.

"Look behind his ear." Noshiko ordered.

They all walked closer and when I checked there was the mark that indicated he was himself again.

"It worked." I smiled.

"So, I'm actually me?" Stiles asked.

"More you than the nogitsune." Noshiko answered.

"Can the oni find him?" Stiles asked.

"Tomorrow night. It's too close to dawn now." Noshiko replied.

"Can they kill him?" Stiles asked.

"It depends on how strong he is."

"And Lydia? Why did he take her?" I asked.

"He would only take her for an advantage."

"Her power." I realized and she nodded.

"The power of a Banshee."

[...]

"Ah, if I could just find my keys." We heard the Sheriff's voice and walked into his office.

"In your coffee cup. You always drop them in your empty cup." Stiles spoke smiling a little bit.

Sheriff Stilinski looked at us and we both nodded letting him know it was him. Stilinski walked over to Stiles and hugged him tightly.

I smiled and looked at Scott who was smiling too.

"Hey, Dad."

"Is it over?" Stilinski asked.

Scott took the keys out of the mug.

"Not yet." He replied.

[...]

"We got an APB out on Lydia's car. Every unit on the road is looking for her." Stilinski spoke.

"Isn't there anything else that we could do?" I asked.

"At this hour? No, not really." He answered.

"He took her for a reason, dad. Look, if we can figure out the why, then we'll figure out the where." Stiles spoke.

"Okay." Stilinski checked that there was no one. "What would a nogitsune need with a Banshee?"

"I don't know." I replied and sighed.

"You don't feel her or something? Like a twin thing." Stiles asked and I looked at him.

"No." I raised my eyebrows.

"You said you got the whole story from Noshiko?" Sheriff Stilinski asked.

"Yeah, but that happened during WWII. Like 70 years ago." Scott replied.

"Wait. What did you say?" Stiles asked and we looked at him.

"Noshiko told us about the interment camp ..." Scott started to say but Stiles interrupted him.

"No, before that. You said, the whole story." Stiles corrected him.

"Yeah." Scott replied.

"You figured something out." I spoke looking at his face.

"There's a girl at Eichen House. Her name's Meredith. I think she might be able to help."

[...]

"Sheriff, Meredith Walker." Parrish spoke walking in.

"She's still there?" Stilinski asked.

"Yeah, but they moved her to the closed unit."Parrish replied.

"Why?" Stiles asked.

"They said behavior issues." Parrish replied.

"What issues?" Stiles asked.

"She wouldn't stop screaming." Parrish replied and we all looked at each other.

[...]

Stiles was sleeping on the couch. Scott was in the kitchen and I was sitting on the other couch watching him. My head was resting on my hand.

We had him back. I smiled unconsciously.

Suddenly, Stiles gasped and stood up.

"Stiles?" I looked at him worried.

He looked around disoriented.

"Hey!" Scott exclaimed and grabbed Stiles to keep him from falling. "You okay?"

"What happened? How long was I out?" Stiles asked breathing heavily.

"A few hours. You should sit down." I replied trying to calm him down.

"Where's my dad?" He asked.

"He's at Eichen. Looking for Meredith. We promised him that we wouldn't let you out of our sight." I spoke.

"Okay, what about the others?" Stiles asked.

"Allison, Isaac, the twins, they're all looking for Lydia."

"It's starting to feel like we're waiting for a ransom call." Stiles sighed.

"We'll find her. She is my sister and I'll find her." I spoke.

Stiles nodded and grabbed his jacket to put it on.

"Are you okay?" I asked noticing he was shivering.

"Yeah. I don't know why, I just can't seem to get warm."

I grabbed his hand and felt his pain.

"You're in pain. Why are you in pain?" I asked worried.

"It's not that bad. Just more like a dull ache."

"Where?" Scott asked.

"Sort of everywhere."

I grabbed his hand again and it was cold.

"Stiles, you're freezing." I held his hand.

He sat on the couch and I sat next to him.

"Tell me the truth, Stiles. How much does it really hurt?" I asked.

He sighed

"A lot." He admitted.

I hugged him tightly and passes my hand through his hair trying to calm him down.

"You'll be fine, okay? I promise." I whispered.

Suddenly Scott's phone rang.

"It's Kira. Hey, what's up? Meredith's at school." He frowned speaking on the phone.

We both frowned.

[...]

Scott, Stiles, and I walked into the school quickly. We saw Coach walk in the music room.

He electrocuted one of Eichen's workers who was trying to take Meredith away.

"Good one, Coach." I told him and he smiled.

"Are you going to give me back my 10 dollars from last time, Martin?" He asked.

"You are the one who keeps betting with me, Coach."I replied.

"Well? Get her out of here." Coach ordered looking at Meredith.

Kira, Scott, Stiles, Meredith, and I hurried out of the music room.

We ran to Stiles' Jeep and got in it.

"I'll call you." Kira spoke looking at Scott and left.

"Okay. Where's Lydia?" I asked Meredith.

"Who's Lydia?" Meredith asked and we looked at each other.

[...]

We all went into Scott's house and there we saw Raf and Isaac.

"Isaac." I looked at him.

"Hey, Lia." He smiled a little.

"What are you doing here?" Scott asked looking at his father.

"I could ask you the same thing." Raf replied.

"Free period. We're doing group study." Stiles lied.

"Who is she?" He asked looking at Meredith.

"She's my girlfriend." Stiles lied putting his hand on Meredith's shoulder.

"You're not my type." Meredith spoke and I giggled.

"Well, obviously we have a lot to talk about. Maybe we should take this upstairs."

"He's my type." Meredith spoke looking at Isaac and I bursted out laughing.

They all gave me a bad look and I cleared my throat.

"Okay. Isaac, you can come too." Stiles spoke.

"Oh..."

Meredith, Stiles, Isaac and I went upstairs and into Scott's room.

Meredith sat on the bed and we all looked at her.

"Lydia? You mean the red-haired girl who looks a lot like her?" She asked pointing at me.

"Yes! Yes! Good." Stiles replied.

"That's progress. Now, can you tell us where she is?"I asked.

"Okay. If she tells me."

"If she tells you? Can you ask her?" Isaac asked.

"I already did." Meredith replied smiling.

"Well, what did he say?" I asked.

"She said she doesn't want to be found."

"That's good too." Stiles spoke sarcastically.

"Okay." Isaac sighed.

[...]

"I'm just saying." Isaac whispered.

"Isaac, we're not going to torture Meredith. Who does that?" I whispered.

"I meant scare her." Isaac defended himself.

"That's psychological torture, genius." I replied.

"Okay, no torture." Stiles whispered.

"Okay. How about this? You said she hears things, right? Doesn't that mean she's like Lydia? A Banshee?" He asked.

"I hear things and I'm not a Banshee." I spoke.

"You're just weird." Isaac spoke and I glared at him.

[...]

"Okay. Just try to focus on the sounds around you." Stiles spoke.

"On what you're hearing." Isaac spoke.

"Just focus on the silence." Stiles told him.

"Listen to the silence." Isaac added.

"Focusing on the silence." Stiles spoke.

"Listening to the..." Isaac started to say and I interrupted him.

"Do you mind? This doesn't work if you don't shut up." I spoke and he looked at me offended.

"Well, what are you doing?" He asked.

"Shutting up." I answered.

"Oh yeah, look at me, I'm Lia, I hear things and I throw fireballs, I'm a phoenix and I'm better than everyone else." Isaac made a high-pitched voice and I looked at him offended.

"Well, I'm Isaac, look at my werewolf claws. I'm gettin better at this, even though I always get my ass kicked in every fight." I mocked him.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, actually yes." I replied and he rolled his eyes. "Did you just roll your eyes at me?"

"Okay, that's enough. You two are having a childish fight." Stiles scolded us.

"She started it." Isaac pointed at me.

"That's not true, you...okay, we're done here, Stiles continue." I spoke.

"Why just Stiles?" Isaac asked.

"I have more experience with Banshees." Stiles replied.

"Yeah. And mental patients." Isaac spoke and Stiles gave him a bad look.

"Isn't anyone going to get that?" Meredith asked and we all looked at her confused.

"Get what?" Stiles asked.

"The phone." Meredith replied.

"What phone?" He asked.

"The phone." I whispered and pointed his pocket.

"Oh, the phone. My phone? Yes." Stiles took it out.

He pretended to answer it and put it on his ear.

"Hello. Yes, she's actually sitting right here. It's for you." He handed the phone to Meredith.

She took it and put it on her ear. She held it to her ear for a bit and then hung up and handed it back to Stiles.

"They say Coup de foudre." Meredith spoke.

"Coup de what? What is that Spanish?" Stiles asked.

"That's definitely not Spanish." I replied.

"French. It's French." Scott spoke and we looked at him.

[...]

Scott, Stiles, Isaac and I were in the Jeep. We knew where Lydia was and we were going to rescue her but I still had a bad feeling.

"Hey, you okay?" Stiles asked.

I looked at him and I could see how he had big dark circles around his eyes and he looked paler than normal.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied smiling.

"All right, I'll say it. You look like you're dying. You're pale, thin and you look like you're getting worse. And we're all sitting here thinking it." Isaac spoke.

I hit his shoulder and he looked at me and shrugged.

"When we find the other you, is he gonna look like he's getting better?" Isaac asked.

"What if the other you gets hurt?" I asked.

"You mean if he dies, do I die? I don't care. Just so long as no one else dies because of me."

"You might not care but we do. You said it yourself, death doesn't happen to you, Stiles, it happens to everyone around you." I spoke and he sighed.

"I remember everything I did, Lia. I remember hitting you with a metal bar on the head. I remember pushing that sword into Scott. I remember twisting it."

"It wasn't you." Scott told him.

"Yeah, but I remember it. You guys gotta promise me. You can't let anyone else get hurt because of me."

And that's when I heard Lydia's scream again. I closed my eyes and turned my face around trying not to draw attention. I heard a sound too. It was the sound of a blade. A sword.

We all got out of the Jeep. We were at Oak Creek, all of us.

"We've done this before, guys. A couple of weeks ago we were standing around just like this and we saved Malia, remember? That was a total stranger. This is Lydia."Scott spoke.

"I'm here to save my best friend." Allison spoke.

"I came to save my sister."

"I just didn't feel like doing any homework." Isaac spoke.

We all looked at him and he smiled.

We all walked in Oak Creek with the intention of saving Lydia. Stiles, Scott and I went looking for Lydia through some tunnels.

We ran through these and I stopped. They looked at me stopping too.

"Do you feel her?" Stiles asked and I nodded.

"She's here but it's not just that. I was here, in a dream. Come on, we have to find Lydia." I spoke trying to ignore the weird feeling.

We kept running through the tunnels. We saw Lydia behind a gate and she looked at us in shock.

"Lydia? Are you all right?" Scott asked opening the gate.

"No. No, no, no. Why are you here?" Lydia yelled.

"Lydia, we're here for you." Stiles replied.

"You weren't supposed to be here. You didn't get my message?" She asked.

"Lydia, what do you mean?" I asked looking at her terrified.

"Please tell me she didn't come." Lydia replied and my eyes widened.

[...]

Scott was running quickly. Stiles, Lydia, and I were running behind him.

"Lia... Lia, I can't..." Stiles lost his balance and I held him.

He fell to the ground unconscious. Scott kept running.

"Go, I'll stay with him. Go!" Lydia yelled and I ran off quickly.

I was running. I was running like my life depended on it. I was sweating, I was nervous and breathing heavily. Tears were forming in my eyes but I kept running. I didn't stop even though I felt tired and out of breath.

Suddenly I heard the scream. Lydia's scream. Everything was just like in my dream but this time...this time I understood what she was screaming.

"Allison!" Lydia's painful scream echoed through the tunnel.

I looked up as tears rolled down my cheeks. I screamed feeling my heart drop to my stomach.

A dark aura came out of me and destroyed one of the walls of the tunnel.

I breathed heavily feeling numb. I got up with my remaining strength and ran towards the exit to see Allison's lifeless body in Scott's arms.

"No. No!" I yelled running towards Scott.

He looked at me with tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Please, not you, please, Allison wake up." I put my hand on her face.

I knew she wouldn't wake up but I couldn't accept she was gone.

"Wake up please!" I yelled full of pain and sobbed. "Alli..."

"She's gone." Scott spoke putting his hand on my shoulder and I shook my head.

I sat on the ground and sobbed hugging myself.

"No...Not Allison..." I looked at her lifeless body.

Not Allison...
