Scott was only vulnerable while he was sleeping; which even then, you needed to proceed with caution.
Liam, however, did not know that.
So, when Liam found himself looking right at his boyfriend, Scott, with claws and his werewolf persona, he flinched.
"Scott! Scott, it is me! It is me! Liam. Liam, it is me." Liam whispered.
Scott retracted his claws.
"Liam."
"I am sorry Scott! I can leave if you want me-"
"No! I, you just, you surprised me. That is all."
"What you are a werewolf?" Liam questioned.
"But not right now. Now get over here with me."
Liam happily obliged.
Scott patted the bed, next to him.
Liam walked over to the bed.
Scott looked up at Liam.
"We cannot snuggle when you are standing up Liam."
Liam gets himself on Scott's bed.
Which Scott immediately pulled Liam close to him.
"Only so close we can get."
Scott huffed.
Liam laughed softly.
"The only thing that will come between our love."
"Our son?"
"Our little girl Scott."
Scott scoffed.
"I want our son to play lacrosse with me Liam."
"Girls can play lacrosse too Scott. Remember Kira?"
Scott remembered Kira.
"That is true."
"Stop being sexist then." Liam teased.
"Our son, or daughter, can do anything anyone else can do." Scott says.
"Nicely stated Scott. Now, do you have chocolate chips?"
"What?"
"Your baby is making me crave them. Now, do you have chocolate chip? No? Or yes Scott?"
"I think mom used them in my pancakes." Scott said.
Liam started to tear up.
"No chocolate chips?"
Scott stands up, hopping around, trying to put on his shoes.
"Do not cry. I am going, I am going right now."
"C-can I come with you?" Liam asked.
Scott sits back down next to Liam, and kisses him, "I would love for you to come with me LiLi."

Liam was happily munching on his chocolate chips as Scott was driving.
Scott looked over to see Liam.
"Everything you hoped they would be?"
Liam swallowed the chips in his mouth, "Better." and then replaced more chips into his mouth.
Scott puts a hand on Liam's bump, patting it softly.
"I am happy that you are happy now my love."
Liam glances over at Scott.
"There is no other werewolf I want to have a baby with other than the McCall Alpha."
"And you, my Beta."
"Best damn Beta Scott."
"My only Beta Liam. But yes, you are my best. Always will be to."
"Ooh, Scott! It is Wendy's! Please!" Liam uses his puppy eyes.
"You want a vanilla shake."
"I do." Liam admitted.
"Let me turn around really quickly."

Liam sits next to Scott happily eating and sipping his vanilla shake.
"Is our baby happy?" Scott asked.
Liam hums.
"Baby is very happy, thank you Scott."
"You are most welcome Liam."
"Baby is happily kicking away in my belly." Liam said, as he ate another handful of chocolate chips.
Scott freezes.
He slammed on the brakes in the car.
"You feel the baby kicking?!"
Liam only then realized what he said.
"The baby is kicking. Do you want to feel Scott?"
Liam directs his hand to where the kicking was felt.
Scott waited, but not for long.
The look on Scott's face could not be explained; it was joy.
"That is my baby! My baby kicked me from inside your belly! Your belly!" Scott exploded.
Liam admired Scott McCall.
"Your baby."
Scott looks up at Liam, "I am sorry. What I meant was..our baby."
"Like hearing our baby."
"So do I, Liam. Now how about we get home?"
"And cuddle?" Liam asked hopefully.
"And we can cuddle, yes." Scott answered.
Liam yawned.
"Good Scott, baby likes the feeling of your hand on my bump."
"Is that so Liam?"
"Baby will not stop kicking me, actually, it is hurting."
Scott frowned.
"I will soothe baby down tonight for you."
Liam kisses Scott again.
"Thank you."
