Falling (Stiles)
I stood up out of my crouch that I landed in, looking back at the boy with brown hair. "Be more careful next time," I barked at him. There was a lot of the, and they were all fighting, but they'd been being stupid and almost got themselves killed. I'd had to intervene. Great.
"Who the hell are you?" A girl with strawberry blond hair asked.
"You just killed that thing. Without, like, any remorse and with complete ease..." A younger boy asked. He had dark hair and wide, blue eyes.
"Don't be too worried, Liam," I cooed. "You don't have to worry. I won't scratch you up."
"How do you know his name?" A brooding, tall, dark man asked, looking angry and suspicious.
"I know all of you, Derek," I sighed. I pointed to them all, saying their names. "Stiles. Kira. Lydia. Malia. Scott. Liam. Isaac. Allison."
Lydia made a face. "I don't like that you know that," she chirped. I put my hands in the air.
"Who are you?" Stiles asked, glaring.
I took a step back. "Uh, I can't tell you that," I answered, shrugging.
"What are your intentions?" Scott shot at me.
"To protect all of you," I answered, biting my lip.
"Why?" Kira asked.
"I can't tell you that."
"How do you know us?" Lydia demanded.
"Uh, I can't tell you that either."
"How do expect us to trust you?" Derek growled.
I smirked. "If you did, you'd be stupid. I don't want to be in your pack. That would be dumb of you. I want to protect you, not be one of you."
"Where are you staying?" Scott asked, folding his arms.
"My car," I answered, shrugging.
"You're staying in a car?" Liam asked, not believing me.
"Yeah," I said, shrugging. "See? Honest. I'll answer any questions I can."
"Okay. Are you going to our school?" Stiles asked.
"No."
"How do you plan to know when you need to hep us?" Lydia asked.
"I'll follow you," I said, as if saying 'duh!'
"And if we don't want you to?" Scott asked.
"That sucks," I simply said, shrugging.
"When are you-?"
A searing pain shot through my head and I hissed, holding my head. I looked up at the pack, watching me with wide, scared eyes. "I... I have to go..." I turned and ran, pumping my legs as fast as I could. I raced to my car and then dove in, holding my head. I sat there, mumbling under my breath until the headache went away. Then I sighed, falling asleep because I had nothing else to do. That wasn't fun...
-----
"Hey ugly!" I yelled. The werewolf looked at me, whipping its head around to meet me face to face. "Yeah!" I growled. "Look at me! Come on, ugly! Come get some!"
Then it charged. We were fist fighting, which would have been horrible if I was normal. But, since I was far from it, I could hold my own. My super speed and strength gave me the perfect amount of agility to keep me out of the way as my super intelligence gave me time to create a plan of attack as I fought. I dodged and bobbed and weaved, smiling. This was fun. Soon it was tired and it slowed. That's when I took my chance. I planted a firm kick in the ribs, hearing a resounding crack. That's at least four broken... The I brought my knee up on its jaw, breaking that too. ThenJ put my hands in the air, clasping them together, and brought it down as hard as I could on its stomach. I don't want to even think about the damage that cost. While it was healing, I light a match and dropped it on the werewolf, who howled and ran away. Then I looked around. The rouge pack was ridiculous. I jumped in to help even the odds with Isaac then slipped in to help Derek then Scott.
I kept on my toes, dodging in and out of battles and leaving havoc to anyone who apposed me.
When there was left with just one werewolf, I faced it. Everyone stood back, having just won their battles, breathing heavily. A few went to step up but I shot a hand out. This was the alpha. It was old and wise and almost killed Derek and Scott together at least six times. Thanks to me, they were still alive. I had to fight it head on and alone.
"Stay back," I barked. No one moved.
The Alpha glared at me. Then its eyes went wide. "I know you," he whispered. My fists clenched and I locked my jaw.
"No you don't," I responded firmly.
"Yes I do. You're... You're her. The Pack Slayer. The Blood Queen. The Guardian! Why... How did you... What did you do to get her here?!" He asked, looking at the pack behind me.
I knew they were confused. Shit. He was saying too much.
"What is she?" Scott asked.
The Alpha barked, laughing. "You summoned The Guardian and don't even know what she IS?!"
"They didn't summon me," I said slowly.
"You don't know who she is," he whispered. "She's-" before he could continue, I disappeared and reappeared behind him, snapping his neck. He fell to the ground and the pack stared at me.
"Who are you?" Stiles seethed.
I ran.
-------
I stood in front of Scott. "I know you don't know me. I know you have a million reasons not to trust me. But I see now that if I'm going to protect you, I have to be wi you. You have to trust me. I swear, I would die for any of you. I would protect you even if it meant sacrificing myself."
"Is she lying?" Stiles asked.
Scott looked at me for a long time. "No. She's not."
"Are we going to trust her?" Lydia asked.
Scott took a big breath. "Yes. We are. But watch yourself. If you try to hurt anyone I will not hesitate to kill you."
"And if he does I'll kill you for him," Derek added.
I gulped. "Okay..."
"Welcome to the Pack," Scott said, holding out his hand. He smiled softly and I took it, nodding.
As everyone filed out, Stiles pulled me back. "I don't trust you," he said darkly. "I will kill you even if I THINK you're going to hurt someone, got it?"
I smiled. "Of course Stiles."
Then he turned and left. Tough crowd.
------
I sat there, laughing with everyone. It was weird. I'd come here from the future, just like I'd told them, sent to protect them. And instead of putting me through all of that not trusting me again, they'd welcomed me even more. I'd become part of their little family, even though they barely knew me.
I'd proved they could trust me someway I didn't know of and they treated me like they treated each other. Allison saved my life today. Stiles seemed extremely relieved.
I think I liked him... That might cause some problems.
Maybe this whole thing would turn out well in the end...
------
I knew what was going to happen. I ran and ran and ran, trying to get there in time. I ran into the battle, ignoring everyone else. I raced to Allison, who was holding her own for now. I wanted to call out to her, warn her, but she could t be distracted. Not by me. Not by anyone. I saw the attacker she didn't. I saw them raise the weapon she wasn't ready for.
And I jumped in front of her.
My vision went red. "ALLISON!" I stood there, feeling the wound in my stomach. I fell to my knees and everything around me blurred. I knew that I'd fallen but I didn't feel the pain, the impact, just the wound. It filled all my senses and I gasped.
"Y/n!" Stiles... Someone pulled me into their lap and I knew it was him. It was Stiles.
"Stiles," I breathed, smiling up at him. I touched his face and he leaned into it. I'd been here two years and I'd come to love the dork that held me now. He never knew and I knew he didn't feel the same way. It was funny how one could feel so strongly for someone without receiving anything back. "I think I was in love with you..." I said, tilting my head.
"Are you human?" It was Scott.
"Technically," I said.
"Technically?" He asked.
"I'm a clone... Not real. Don't worry. I'm not important. I was sent for this moment, to save Allison. I was sent to die." I chuckled. "I wasn't supposed to make connections... I'm sorry..."
"You were what?" Lydia gasped.
"That's horrible!" Allison added, covering her mouth.
"Don't... Worry..." I said. "I'm happy." I smiled. "I got a bette deal than I should have."
"No!" Stiles yelled. "No you didn't! You didn't get more you should have gotten more! You deserve so much more..." He was crying and I frowned.
"It'll be just like before I came here," I said, shrugging. "I was sent here when I was six. My duty was to find you. Along the way, I made reputation for myself that made me seem like some bad ass vigilante. I got food and house from people and they did me a flavor by giving me information as I beat their demons and even spread rumors to make me scarier so people wouldn't mess with me. It was great. Everyone thought I was this Demon or something." I laughed, then stopping, wincing.
"No... Please... I can't lose you," Stiles whispered, moving hair out of my face.
"Why not?" I asked, pulling my eyebrows together.
"I... Y/n, I love you too. I've come to love you in a way I was even surprised by. You're a part of me. I can't lose you."
I smiled. "Knowing that make ps it all worth it." I looked at everyone. "Thank you. For everything."
"Oh shut up, Drama," Scott sighed. He grabbed my arm and bit down. I gasped, surprised. Then everything went black.
----
I sat up straight, gasping for air. I felt as if I'd been drowning...
"Y/n?! OH MY GOSH YOU'RE AWAKE! SCOTT GET STILES Y/N IS AWAKE!"
I looked around, frantic. What was happening?! Where was I?!
"Y/n? Oh my- Y/n!" There was suddenly a face there in front of me, and I knew that face. I knew that face. Where did I know that face. I grabbed his face, holding him still. "I know your face," I whispered. "Where do I know your face?" I demanded.
He glared. "Fuck no," he growled. "You don't get to die then go into a coma for two months just to wake up and say you forgot me. Hell to the no." Then he kissed me. It was so passionate and intense, I gasped. He slipped his tongue into my mouth, exploring. He was a really good kisser and I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed it. My body buzzed and my hand went to his hair, pulling him as close to me as I could. "I love you," he mumbled. "I love you I love you I love you."
And even though I didn't know exactly why, I smiled and whispered back. "I love you too."
-----
My memory did come back. Allison and Scott stayed together. Kira left. So did Isaac and Jackson. Malia and Lydia became a thing, which took everyone by surprise. Derek kinda stayed in the shadows, being Mr. Grumpy Cat and being the single best friend of all of us.
And me and Stiles?
Well him being a human and being a werewolf version of a girl cloned years in the future, things were weird for us, but we were happy. Turns out there were a few things here and there like I couldn't have kids but we adopted.
There was always supernatural bull shit but we took care of it.
And life was great.
