Anchors and Siblings (Isaac)

"What's his problem?!" Lydia screamed.

"Control!" Scott yelled back vaguely. Lydia got it immediately though of course, as everyone did in the room. They wrestled with the young werewolf as his teeth grew and his eyes burned gold. Scott struggled to get him calm without calling Y/n.

It would be easier to just get her to do it. Though almost everyone in the room knew the two were dating, the one person that didn't know was her brother, Stiles, and it was crucial he didn't find out. At least to Y/n and Isaac.

Not that Isaac was afraid of the kid. Why would he be? It was more that Stiles would be stupid and annoying and Y/n didn't want Stiles to be angry with her. If Scott called Y/n and got her here to calm Isaac, then Stiles would know.

Let's be honest. What werewolf wouldn't be dating his anchor?

If Stiles saw their chemistry as he often did and knew she was his anchor, he'd know immediately, and Y/n wouldn't be able to handle losing her brother. Having him be mad at her, not talk to her, would throw her into a panic.

After all, Stiles had warned her. Dating Isaac was the biggest no no. She was t to be involved in anything. She wasn't to associate with them, and was to stay away from all the danger and drama he had to deal with. Plus, back when he made her swear, Isaac had been in Derek's pack. Not that he wasn't, but more that the two packs were on better terms.

Unfortunately, as things continued, it was no longer an option to leave Y/n out of this. He looked at Allison. "Call her."

Allison's eyes went wide. "But Stiles-"

"Call her," Scott repeated firmly.

Allison pursed her lips then nodded, running off. "Who's Allison calling?" Stiles asked.

Scott looked at his best friend with a desperate look. Don't freak out, he mentally begged. "You'll find out."

---

Y/n raced in. "I came as soon as you called!" She told Scott. Her eyes fell on the struggling pack and her boyfriend. "What the hell happened?!"

"I don't know! He's been like this for hours! He went mad and started attacking everyone. He's broken chains, three hand cuffs, and almost impaled Allison like, three times." Lydia was there as Scott was struggling.

"Derek?" Y/n whispered urgently.

Lydia shook her head. "I don't know where he is..."

Y/n sighed. "My turn." Her face hardened. "EVERYONE BACK UP!" Immediately they all flew back. Scott flew in front of Stiles to try and block him a few seconds so she could work her magic. Stiles went to move to see who it was, and Scott moved with him. Lydia and Allison joined in. It was just the four of them tonight. With Y/n, now five... Not including Isaac.

Y/n slowly walked forward, a soft smile on her face. The boy's eyes met hers and he froze. He looked around, like he was analyzing some kind of damage, and whimpered, pressing into the wall.

Y/n held out her hand. Just then Stiles finally pushed past his friends. His eyes locked on his little sister, her hand extended to touch Isaac as his eyes glowed and Isaac looked back at her with utter fear. He saw her small, reassuring smile and her slow, forward steps.

"What the hell is going on?!" Stiles demanded.

Y/n pursed her lips. "Not the time, Stiles. Later."

"No! Now!" Stiles started walking forward quickly. Isaac's head snapped to Stiles' and Y/n rushed to grab Isaac's attention but Stiles grabbed her arm, spinning her around. "Explain!" Stiles demanded. "Why are you here? What's going on? Tell me!" His grip tightened on her arm and Y/n looked at her brother with terror. Did he hate her now? Did he think she was a liar? A cheat? Would he disown her now?

Her heart began racing, pounding, and all her fears hit her in the face like a brick. She'd been helping the pack the whole time behind Stiles' back and all the things she'd gone through suddenly stumbled sprung her. What if he ditched her all together? She'd already lost her mom and felt like she was losing her dad... She couldn't lose her brother. Her body started shaking and Stiles' eyes went wide.

The thing that really went bad was when Isaac heard her heart beat.

He attacked Stiles to protect her, throwing him across the room. He pulled Y/n to his chest, racing to the opposite side of the room as Stiles. Isaac went to the ground, holding Y/n to him protectively and desperately as she went into a full panic attack.

She'd had to lie too much. She'd had to worry too much. She'd dealt with more than Stiles because while she had to deal with the fear of not helping battles and the weight of not knowing, she'd also had to know everything. She knew all the dangers, all the possibilities. She knew that the boy she was falling head over heels for was fighting against her brother and that the Kanima was out to kill and was unpredictably doing whatever the hell its master wanted.

The worse part? She'd had to keep it all inside. Her friends had enough  to deal with and her brother couldn't know.

Now it all came caving in and she was basically vibrating against Isaac. Isaac's sudden rage was immodestly gone, his eyes still glowing but no longer wolfed out. His teeth return to normal teeth and he was completely worried just about the girl he loved. He layed her against the wall as she curled her knees to her chest, burying her face in her knees.

Everyone raced forward. "What's wrong?"

"What's going on?"

"What happened?"

Colors blurred and her throat closed. She covered her ears as their voices seemed to assault her and she gasped, trying to breath.

"She's having a panic attack!" Isaac explained to everyone.

"Why?!"

"Because of you..." Isaac glared at Stiles as he came into the group, growling. He was mad at the by for putting her through this. She'd suffered more than he'd seen anyone else be suffering and he was broken trying to fix her.

"Wha...?" Stiles looked hurt. He'd done this to her? What had he missed? What hadn't he protected her from? What hadn't he blocked from her? What had hither when his guard was down? He looked at Isaac. There was something he was missing... Then he snapped to reality, knowing he was the only one who really knew how to deal with these. "Everyone back up! You too, Isaac." Isaac growled again. "Not because I don't want you to be close to her. Get me wrong, I don't, but that's not why I'm saying to back up. She needs space."

"I think Isaac should stay where he is," Scott said carefully.

"Why? She needs space?"

"Come on, Stiles. You're not that thick," Lydia spoke up, looking at him seriously.

Stiles pursed his lips. "Okay," he croaked. "Right." Everyone backed up except Stiles and Isaac. Isaac placed a hand on her, his touch some what soothing her. Isaac listened to her heart beat as well as Scott, both trying to gauge her condition.

"Stiles," Isaac began.

"Just explain," Stiles demanded.

Isaac told Stiles everything. All the sneaking around, her helping the pack. Her worrying. Her knowing everything but really being able to help to her full ability because she had to avoid Stiles. Even their relationship.

Stiles looked at his sister, knowing exactly what she was thinking. He'd been so severe... "Y/n?" He paused, knowing she could hear him but knowing she probably wouldn't respond. "I love you, okay? You're my only sister. My little sister. You're an adorable little freshman while I'm this stupid sophomore and I can't..." His voice broke as his eyes watered. "I can't protect you from everything. Not in Beacon Hills. And you were skirting around me anyway. If you really want, you can really join us. You can really put your all in. Heaven knows we'll need it. We're one man down right now with Derek messing with Peter and we need you. I know that now. And... And I'm okay with you dating Isaac. As long as he's good to you," he added, glaring at Isaac. Isaac kept his eyes trained on Y/n. "Y/n? Y/n please."

"You mean it?" A small voice sounded. Everyone let out a breath they didn't realize they were holding. Of course she'd have been okay, but panic attack so were ridiculously scary.

"I swear," Stiles whispered.

Isaac and Scott relaxed fully as her heart beat went back to normal and her breathing leveled. She got up, enveloping her brother in a hug. "I trust you, Stiles. But now you need to trust me."

Stiles pursed his lips. "I think I can do that."
