Isaac: Nothing Whole, Nothing Broken
It wasn't that Isaac wanted to chain Bree up, it was that he had to. He wanted her to be safe from hunters that thought she was too rabid at the time.
Isaac swallowed as he placed the chain around Bree's wrist. He locked gazes with her blue eyes. "Are you ready?"
Bree kissed Isaac's cheek. "If you make it too loose there's no point."
Isaac looked back at her wrist. "It is too loose." He tightened it and wrapped her other wrist. "You know, a regular guy would enjoy tying you with chains," he joked, to lighten the mood.
Bree smirked. "Good thing I have a spectacular guy."
Isaac paused. He looked at Bree through his eyes lashes. He kissed her and kissed her again, cupping her head.
"Isaac!"
They both turned to Derek. He quickly walked to them. "Do you tie her up properly?"
Isaac paused, stepping back with widened eyes. "I uh.."
Derek tightened everything Isaac did. Bree let out a few grunts.
Isaac licked his lips, looking away. "I guess not."
Derek turned to Isaac. "Can I count on you to watch her, or I am I going to have to do that too?"
Isaac tried his best to lock eyes with Derek. "I-I can do it."
Derek stared at Isaac.
Isaac stood his ground. "I can. Trust me."
Derek nodded. "I need to make sure Scott can handle the other two Betas. The moon rises in fifteen minutes. I should be back by then. If not," he gave Isaac a daring stare, "find me if she gets loose." He quickly ran out.
Isaac sat on the floor across from Bree.
Bree smiled. "Not like he has to make sure if you can keep me here or not. You can handle this."
Isaac smiled, looking at Bree. "This will be your first full moon since Derek turned you. I'm kind of scared I may not be able to handle it."
Bree looked down, her arms dangling above her. "I know you can."
Isaac let out a small laugh. "You thought I could do anything ever since we first kissed."
"I know you can." Bree grinned. "You got over your shyness in order to kiss me."
Isaac nodded, smiling. His eyes widened as he noticed a bit of the moonlight entering the room. He locked gazes with Bree. "Are you ready?"
Bree looked from the moonlight to Isaac. She nodded. "I'll try not to hurt you."
Isaac's smiled faded as he stood up watching Bree transform. She began to growl and struggle freeing herself from the chains. Isaac swallow as he watched Bree grow more and more rabid. She was looking at him with rabid and wild eyes. He almost didn't recognize her anymore.
"Bree!" He hoped her voice would bring her back or at least calm her. "Bree!"
She continued to struggle. All of her strength was being used to free herself to claw Isaac. She didn't understand why but it was her greatest urge to do so. Her growling grew louder with every forceful pull or tug on the chains on her wrists. He bit his tongue, watching Bree, not knowing how to reach her or if he even could. He watched the moonlight pass over for the next two hours. He closed his eyes, hoping Bree wouldn't free herself and that time would pass by faster.
Isaac's eyes widened as he watched blood slide down her wrists. "Bree, stop. You're hurting yourself!"
Bree continued to try to free herself, almost as if every word Isaac said was nothing but noise. She let out an extremely loud roar. The chains let out a loud crack.
Isaac stepped back, continuing to watch the blood go down Bree's arms as she cracked the chains a bit more. "There's only thirty minutes until sunrise." Isaac looked into Bree's eyes. He bit his lip as he heard the chains break. He looked down, transforming himself.
Bree tackled him and he tossed Bree away, being careful not to use all of his strength. She slid and instantly got on her feet. She snarled at Isaac and he roared at Bree. He still had control of his mind. He simply needed to keep her busy until the sun rose. Twenty three minutes to go.
Bree charged at Isaac and he grabbed her arm, whirling her around and holding her down to the floor. Bree bit his wrist and Isaac let out a grunt. Bree tripped Isaac and got back on her feet. Isaac instantly rolled away and got on his feet. He charged at Bree and pressed her against the wall by her biceps. Bree dug her claws into Isaac's arms.
Isaac let out a loud cry, but held her against the wall. The wolves breathed heavily together. Isaac looking into Bree's eyes, and Bree looking into the eyes of her prey. Isaac could hear her heart beating, it was slowly calming down, like if it was going to sleep. He felt her claws slowly and gradually getting out of his arms. Soon they weren't in his arms and Bree's hands felt normal.
"Isaac." Bree looked at him with heavy eyes. "I'm sorry." Bree's arms fell to her side.
Isaac's arms healed as he let go of Bree and let her fall into his arms. He laid her down as he sat down.
Bree opened her eyes looking up at Isaac. "Did I hurt you anywhere besides your arms?"
Isaac smiled. "No. You didn't hurt me at all, beautiful."
Bree smiled. "Good." She closed her eyes. "I could feel your heart beat. You were scared for me weren't you? You were scared you would have to hurt me somehow."
Isaac nodded. "I don't ever want to hurt you. Whether physical, emotional, or in werewolf form. I knew that the moment you came home to our pack. The moment I saw that you were as broken as I am when you entered that door."
"I still am broken."
Isaac smiled and held Bree's hand. "I am too." He looked over Bree. "You were right. I can do anything. But that's not completely right, is it?"
"What do you mean?" Bree asked weakly.
Isaac held Bree closer to him. "I can do anything for you." He kissed Bree's hand. "However, I can't fix the broken part of you because I, myself, am broken. And I don't know how to fix it."
Bree weakly opened her eyes. "Isaac."
Isaac locked his eyes with Bree, pressing his forehead against hers. "But I can do something. I can be broken with you."
