Letting Go- BBRae

Chapter 1.

Narrator's P.O.V.

It was a nice peaceful day in Jump City. Today ,in the tower ,something marvelous happened. Raven and beastboy are now dating after all those years of waiting for one another to tell them how much they love each other.

The titans made a small party to celebrate there love and happiness. They we're all having a wonderful time until the alarm went off. The Titans quickly went to the scene to fight whoever was destroying the city.

Once they got there, they were all surprised it was another villain. The Villain was a girl. She had pink hair and brown eyes. She looked at the titans and smirked. "Nice to see you all. To bad I have to go" She flew up and started to fly away. Starfire's eyes glowed green and flew up, to stop the new mysterious villain.

The villain started to make circular moves with her both hands and soon, air came and pushed Starfire down to the ground. Robin quickly cached Starfire before she reached for the cold hard ground.

Cyborg quickly adjusted his cannon arm and pointed to the woman with pink hair. He blasted at her , but she had stretching ability so she quickly stretched up and dodged his blast from his arm cannon.

She then stretched an arm and pushed Cyborg to the ground. He quickly stood up , but she grabbed him again and threw him to a wall.

Robin had enough of this so he let go of Starfire gently back on her two feet and took out his staff. He ran up to her and jumped so he could reach her better. She flew up and Robin missed making him fall to the ground. Starfire cached him on time and let him to the ground gently.

The woman pushed them together on the wall, making them fall on the floor just like Cyborg. Beastboy turned into a gorilla and tried to smash her , but failed when she used her freezing powers and froze beastboy into a gorilla popsicle.

Raven got mad so she started to use her dark magic. "Azarath-Metrion-Zinthos"

Dark magic hit the villain and made her fall to the ground.

Raven walked over to her. Raven had rope on her hand to tie her up. Once Raven was close to the villain, the girl pushed herself on a handstand and did a flip hitting Raven on the head and making her fall down on the ground.Raven landed on a hard rock making her fall unconscious.

"Is she going to be okay?" Beastboy asked Cyborg looking down at his beautiful girlfriend on the medical bed. She looked like she was asleep , but she wasn't.

"I don't know man. She got pretty hurt" Beastboy's heart broke every time he saw poor Raven on the medical bed without talking, eating, reading, meditating, or fighting crime.

"At least tell me if she's going to survive" Cyborg looked at Raven and then at beastboy. He felt bad that beastboy finally got his dream girl and then all of this happens.

"Beastboy, I'm not going to lie...she might not make it...if she does worse tomorrow then we have no choice , but to take her to a real hospital" Cyborg patted beastboy's back telling him to be strong and left. Beastboy didn't sleep last night. He would look at Raven and plea her to open her eyes and be the dark Raven she always was.He didn't wish for nothing more , but Raven to be happy and cured.

Beastboy couldn't fight the urge to sleep so he closed his eyes.

Beastboy woke up to the sound of beeping next to him. Everyone can in the room with worried expressions. "W-whats happening?" Beastboy asked being scared. "Starfire, call for an ambulance and fast!" Starfire gave a small nod and left to get the phone. Beastboy looked over to Raven and noticed she wasn't breathing.

"no..NO!" beastboy yelled with tears sliding down his green check. The people from the ambulance took Raven to the nearest hospital.

"Please tell me she's okay" The doctor looked at beastboy with sympathy and sighted. "I'm sorry , but we can't do anything. The only thing that is keeping her alive is the breathing machine. Its your choice if you want to disconnect her" The doctor left leaving the other's with sad faces. They couldn't believe such a wonderful day turned into a worse nightmare.

"Beastboy, maybe we should let her rest in peace" Robin said placing his hand on beastboy's shoulders. Beastboy looked at Robin bloodshot eyes because he was crying. "But she's my love" Beastboy whispered. Everyone felt so sorry for him, you couldn't even imagine.

"She was one of my best friends. I think she would like to rest in peace" Starfire said while a tear drop slid down her cheek. Robin noticed so he wiped it with his thumb and hugging her.

"Starfire is right" Robin placed a kiss on top of Starfire's head.

"Easy for you to say. You still have Starfire healthy while my Raven is struggling with death" Beastboy glared at him. "Your right, I do have Starfire. If something ever happened to her I would do anything to make her happy. Letting her go would make her happy. Even if I would have let her go, I know we will always love each other dead or alive"

"Okay, I will let her go."

"Ready?" The doctor asked the titans that we're all in Raven's hospital room.

"Can I say something before you disconnect her?" The doctor nodded and everyone left the room leaving beastboy and Raven.

"Raven, even if your going to rest in peace just remember that I would have done anything to make you happy even if it means letting you go." Beastboy kissed Raven and everyone was back in the room.The doctor disconnected her.

In Raven's funeral, Beastboy bought 50 types of flowers. He made his speech about how beautiful she was and a great superhero. Then they buried her.

Beastboy would always visit her with flowers and a cute letter to read to her.

Beastboy and Raven will love each other dead or alive.
