mixed emotions - Bbrae- Final
"Are you insane!?" Cyborg yelled at my face already freaking out on me. Yes I know that this was a crazy plan, but I had to do it.
"I want to know if Terra is telling me the truth or not." I explained once again to Cyborg hoping that this time he didn't protest about my own decision.
" Beastboy, have you even thought about Raven? How do you think she's going to react to all of this?" Cyborg was half right. I haven't thought about Raven lately. She would be really devastated by all of this. My own heart can't handle seeing her sad.
I sighed loudly in the room. "We don't tell her."
"What?"
"We don't tell her about this. If she asks where I am, tell her I went on a mission on my own. Now that Robin can't really move it is my turn to save the day. Tell her that." I tried to make it simple.
"Lying to her isn't going to be a good idea. She knows everything." Cyborg looked serious.
"It's a risk I have to take. Besides, we aren't dating and I already bought the proposal ring. There is no turning back now." I reached down to my pocket; feeling the hard box. The ring should still be inside if not then I'm dead.
Cyborg pat my back finally understanding my ways. "Remember that whatever happens, I will always ship you and Raven."
"Thanks I guess." I rubbed the back of my head.
Terra appeared in the corner of the room walking normally again. "Let's do this!" She exclaimed smiling determined to get this done.
"Here is the ring." I got out the small box and showed it to her.
"Get on one knee and propose to me." Terra commanded still smiling.
"Is it necessary?" I really didn't want to be in one knee. This is suppose to be fake anyways.
"Of course!"
I sighed not really wanting to do this. To make this even worse, Cyborg was behind us whispering not to do it. Terra gave Cyborg a warning look to keep quiet during the process. I got in one knee and opened the box gulping. I'm not ready nor will I ever be. My own head imagined the process differently from the one right now. "Terra....will you marry me?" I struggled to spit out the words.
Her eyes beamed brightly sighing dreamily. "Yes!" She exclaimed getting down to hug me tightly.
"No, no, no! This was suppose to be Raven." Cyborg kept on mumbling frustrating words to himself.
"Let's go pack our bags!" Terra stood up already leaving to her room.
I narrowed my eyes at the long hallway. The plan is half complete, but it feels like the plan inst going to work. I left Cyborg alone to finish his complaining. My only purpose is to pack my bags for the trip.

"We are here!" Terra exclaimed running out of the t-ship Cyborg let me borrow. She twirled around the place like a small child in an amusement park.
I looked around to see her home planet looked similar to earth. The only difference spotted in my view was the way the building were built. They curved from the top meanwhile in earth they were perfectly straight. "Nice place."
"Thank you! My house should be behind the corner." Terra, once again, ran off without waiting for me. She must be really anxious to see her mother again.
Outside the small house we stood silently. Our full attention was on the door Terra knocked on a few minutes ago. All I could feel was the cold breeze hit the back of my neck. The wooden door finally opened reviling a sweet old lady. "Hello?"
"Hello grandma! It is me....Terra!" She greeted giving her grandma a huge hug.
"Terra, sweety, I missed you!" Her grandmother wrapped her arms around her. I awkwardly stood there not really understanding everything around me.
"I got proposed to....may I see mother now?" Terra stepped back.
"Of course, but be very careful. She is still weak from her last operation." Grandma told her.
I stepped inside after her. The house was clean and sparkly. You could even say that it was a house mirror. "Over here." Terra whispered over to me. I gave her a small nod; continuing my walk with her.
"Mother?" Terra knocked on the door first before opening it.
"Terra?" Her mother cooed as she sat up from her white bed.
"I found my man." Terra reached her hand down to search for mine. She gladly grabbed her hand with mine; interlocking out fingers together. This didn't seem right at all.
"We must start to wedding soon!" Terra's mother stood up from the bed as quickly as possible. She later started to dance all over her bedroom of happiness. Wasn't she weak?
Terra jumped up and down squealing. "Yes! Did you hear that? We will be together forever!" Terra rested her head on my shoulder.
I pushed her away. "No, no, this wasn't part of the plan! You said this was temporary!" I was getting angry with her.
Terra rolled her eyes laughing a bit. "Raven can't have you. I want you more than her."
"Is that so?" A female voices echoed in the room. We all looked up to see Raven and Cyborg next to each other. Looks like Starfire stayed home to take care of Robin's injuries.
"Yes it is! Let's face it, Raven. You are a demon freak who can't control herself." Terra was smirking at her knowing how to brake Raven in pieces.
"And you are just a teenage wreak. Look at yourself. Is this what you want? To be such an arrogant person? Go ahead and ruin your life, but don't involve Beastboy in this mess." Raven was determined to take me away from her.
"Poor Raven thinks she can cure all of this. He is mine!" Terra grabbed my arm possessively.
"I'm so done with your stupid behavior." Cyborg yelled grabbing part of the roof he broke in both his arms. "This is for love. This is for my OTP." Cyborg whispered dropped the wooden chunk of roof on top of Terra. She screamed as she wooden part covered her whole body. Terra's mother screamed too when she saw her daughter was injured badly.
Raven's eyes were widen of amazement and concerns for Terra's health. "Uh....I think I can help her with my healing powers." Raven wasn't sure.
"Yo! It's okay Terra's mom. We can totally fix her!" Cyborg told her mother.
-------
"So....we couldn't fix her..." Cyborg said sadly letting his tools on the table next to her cold body. I wouldn't blame him for being sad. He was the one who killed her, but I also feel guilty. I should have told her that Raven brought more emotions in me than she ever could.
Now I'm in this place where I look at her and see the old Terra in her. What happened to her? She was so much more cheerful than before. Robin was so much better, but this loss made it feel like I lost someone really important in my life.
Robin still had his hand on my shoulder as he looked down at Terra resting in peace. I know Cyborg didn't mean to kill her, but all of this hurts.
"What happened?" Cyborg asked as he looked at Robin and I. He probably didn't expect for us two to be devastated.
"I'm not processing this." I massaged my temples trying so hard not to cry anymore.
"No, I mean why is the white blankets off her face?" Cyborg raised an eyebrow at us. Robin and I looked at each other clueless. Nobody was near her. Starfire and Raven were in the kitchen preparing dinner. Maybe it was the wind in this room.
"She is breathing!" Robin pointed out excited.
Terra opened her eyes halfway. "Beastboy.... I'm sorry. Promise me that you will make Raven a happy girl. Jealousy took over me. I noticed how strong your love is and that some people actually support it." Terra smiled letting a few tears drop on her cheek.
I grabbed her hand in my hand. "I'll remember you as a good friend even though you almost forced me to marry you." Forgiveness is the key.
Her eyes closed again causing a beeping noise. She was gone and dead. Terra is not a bad person, but a loving friend who taught me that sometimes it is best to wait for the good things to happen. Wherever she is, I hope she is smiling with the angels.
