I gulped with my heart raising faster and faster by the minute. I could hear the clock tick every second that went by. Why do girls always have to give me the hardest choices? I sighed looking down at the floor, "The girl I chose is-"

"Wait! Let me say something. I really do love you Beastboy.... Slade was my master and what I did was because he controlled me. He promised he would help my sick mother recover if I helped him destroy the titans. I didn't mean to cause any harm I just wanted my mom to be healthy. You don't understand how much I want her to be healthy. She has been battling with cancer ever since I was ten years old. She was the only friend I had. Every boy I would like would always friend zone me. I have been called ugly and fat by many guys. When you came along, I finally felt safe and wanted. Please understand why I did what I did. I'm not a bad girl like many say I am. Society just doesn't like me. Give me a chance and I'll show you ways you've never seen before." Terra gave me a weak smile interrupting me.

" I have something to say too. Beastboy when I met you I hated you. You seemed very obnoxious and childish. Over the years I have noticed how wonderful you can be. That hug I gave you meant something to me. I was a little hurt when you pushed me away, but my feelings didn't go away that easily. That day I hurt Robin it was just horrible. I loved Robin as a brother I have never had. He was the only one who understood me ever. You were there to cheer me up after I needed someone. I don't normally trust much, but I trust you will all my heart. Whatever you chose just keep in mind that I only want you to be happy." Raven smiled with tears falling down her cheek.

"I can't do this. I don't want to brake any hearts. I chose none of you. I'm sorry..." I walked away from them devastated. Why is it so hard to chose!?

I closed my bedroom door behind me letting myself drop into my bed. I heard a knock right after my headache appeared.

I groaned praying to myself that it wasn't Terra or Raven at my door ready to kill me. To my surprise it was Cyborg holding a plate with cheese pizza.

"You brought me pizza?" I smiled knowing Cyborg had my back.

"What? No. This is for me." Cyborg entered my room biting the pizza in his hands.

"What a great friend you are." I said sarcastically.

" I know. Anyways let's talk about Terra and Raven. What's this about you being such a ladies man?" Cyborg asked perplexed.

" I love them both, Cy. I just don't know what to do anymore." I sighed running my fingers into my green hair.

" Terra broke your heart meanwhile Raven didn't. I think it's obvious who the real winner is."

" Terra's mom had Cancer. She did those horrible things for a reason. She needs me after the horrible things that happened to her."

Cyborg pat my back lightly, "Terra could be lying about her mother. I don't know if I should tell you this, but when Robin made Terra a hero....she told me something interesting. She told me that she didn't have a family. She was an orphan."

My eyebrows were inward slanting
and squeezed together creating a wrinkle in between. My mouth twisted into a side placement creating a crease in my cheek. I was really angry at the moment. I bursted out my room clenching my hands into a fist. I eagerly knocked on Terra's door, ready to yell at her. She soon opened the door, still sitting on her wheelchair.

Her eyes sparkled in joy when she saw my presence. Her mouth opened slightly in an arch shape backwards, " Did you change your mind about me?" She fluttered her eyes.

I rubbed the back of m neck nervously. Looks like I'm turning into Robin when he talks to Starfire, "Um... Do you really have a mom?"

My question caused her to place her hand on her chest, "Of course I do! I told you that she is sick." She huffed.
" Cyborg told me that you told him your are an orphan! Explain that right now." My voice started to get louder.

"I didn't want you guys knowing about my personal life. I do have a mother and I don't care if you believe me or not. I know the truth. I don't need you to prove me right ,nor wrong. Is that all you wanted to say to me or is there more?" Terra waited impatiently for me to continue.

"I want to meet your mother." I said in a serious tone.

She sneered, "You meet my mother? Well you could, but on one condition. You have to marry me."

"Are you crazy!?" I said loudly. I am not going to marry her just so I can meet her mother. That's practically insane.

"A little. Please Beastboy...when you meet her I can take off the engagement ring. We don't have to get married for real." The way she explained it made me wonder if she was joking.

"Is that really necessary?"

"She said I couldn't visit her until I was engaged to someone." She explained. Her mom must be a crazy lady.

"Fine, but we aren't really engaged. This is just so you can prove you have a mom." I made it clear and she nodded as her response. I can't believe tomorrow I'm buying Terra a stupid engagement ring. I really hope Raven doesn't find out about this.
