Foolish Teens
"I can't believe none of you found him anywhere! He's not like anyone around here, so it should should have been easy to find him. Raven, please tell me you can track him down?" Robin wasn't sure if he was angry at himself for not knowing the consequences of a simple hug or mad at his friends for not finding his friend anywhere around the city.
"I really want to say I have, but there is no signal of him anywhere. His spirit isn't letting me inside his mind. It's just like someone was blocking it." Raven was confused on why she couldn't contact Beastboy. She tried everything, but apparently everything isn't enough.
"Who has enough power to do that?" Cyborg questioned.
"Perhaps our friend is asleep!" Starfire tried to make everything seem okay, so her friends wouldn't be very stressed out.
"Asleep or not, Beastboy is still our friend and he needs us." Robin still couldn't let go of the horrible thoughts producing in his mind. He knew someone took him, but he couldn't quiet see who.
Cyborg walked back and forth in circles rubbing his chin in process of finding out why Beastboy's mind if being blocked. Raven tried to contact him again, but she would only get a black vision. Starfire flew up in the air and looked around the area to see if her friend was perhaps walking by. Robin had other plans that didn't involve what other did to help. "Slade. He probably took Beastboy."
Cyborg turned to look at Robin with a groan. "You do realize slade is dead, right?"
"He might not. It could have been what he wanted everyone to believe! Just when we thought this place was finally safe, he took our friend." Robin argued back with reasons.
Raven yelped at the sudden force that threw her back to the ground. She groaned, holding her aching head, as she sat up. "Raven!" Starfire shrieked, following by the other titans running towards Raven.
"Raven, are you okay?" Robin asked, watching one of his best friends wince her eyes at sudden pain waves ruining her calm thoughts.
" Yeah," She mumbled, " It was probably an accident of mine."
" I've seen you do this before. This is no accident cause by you. Is there any way someone could interfere with your mind connections?" Cyborg was putting more thought at the process itself. He remembered the time she entered Robin's mind perfectly, and like he remembered, she had no problem.
" No, unless...." She trailed off.
"Unless what?" Starfire couldn't hold in the curious mind she had.
" Unless my father is doing everything. He has control of me! If he is the one doing this....then... He has Beastboy!" Raven's eyes widened as the realization that she has concluded.
" Of course!" Robin smashed his fist onto his other palm, "This was his plan all along. We have to rescue him."
" How are we going to do that? We don't even know where Trigon is!" Cyborg was getting frustrated.
" Perhaps we could wait until Trigon has attacked. That way we could easily take back our friend." Starfire suggested.
Robin rubbed the bottom of his chin in consideration, "He probably has Beastboy in some spell."
" Let's hope he doesn't. That could be really dangerous. I wouldn't dare hurt Beastboy..." Raven confessed, blushing a bit.
" So you like the little man?" Cyborg wiggled his eyebrows.
" No!" Raven clenched her hands.
Cyborg stepped back as a defense, "Okay, I was kidding!"
" There is no time to kid around. One of our friends needs us!" Robin reminded everyone.
" Yes, but we need a solid plan. We couldn't just go without one. It would be like being attacked by the Gordanians without preparation! Or worse, the Yolucas! They do not like their plantet being disturbed." Starfire shivered in how thinking about them gave her chills.
" She's right, we'll become chicken nuggets before we could even speak." Cyborg felt the same chills run through his spine.
" Any ideas?" Robin asked.
"Usually you are the one with ideas..." Cyborg mumbled.
" I have one," Raven gained all the attention, " It might result in death by one of us, but it might work."
" Death? Raven, we can't-"
"Yes we can." Raven cut off Cyborg.
"We can not! Friend, I am sorry to contrast over your words, but death? I can not risk losing a friend!" Starfire paced back and forth with worry.
Raven spoke again once everyone was done ranting on how it was a bad idea, " I'm the one who is willing to take the risk. Let me do it for Beast boy." Raven kept on insisting to his friends.
" Losing you is like losing pizza forever! We need you in this team. We can figure out a different way to get him back." Cyborg tried to reason with Raven in order to keep her alive.
Raven sighed, " I protect others no matter what. I'm a superhero and I want to risk my life to protect him."
Tiffany laughed from a tall hill near by. She could see her half sister, Raven, struggle to save her little friend. Tiffany was promised half of the world to rule if she helped Trigon destroy the Teen Titans. The team was the only thing standing in between ruining the world or keeping it safe.
Beast boy in the other hand felt a but uncomfortable helping a major villain destroy his friends. He knew better than to let a silly misunderstanding go too far. Of course it was silly that he was upset for a small reason being that his friends were only hanging out.
"This is the plan," Tiffany whispered, " You go limp to them. When they see you, start to lead them to the place we told you to. There we will surprise attack them all. "
" Promise me you won't kill them. You'll only give them a scare, so they can respect me." Beast boy looked at Tiffany with hope. He didn't realize the dangerous game he was playing against Trigon and his daughter.
Tiffany laughed at Beast boy, but she nodded at him. " I promise we won't kill them. Now go out there and do your thing!" Beastboy started to fake his limp walk all the way to the other titans. Behind Tiffany's back was two fingers crossed that indicated she wouldn't keep her promise.
Now Beastboy and his friends are in danger.
Finally updated after like a few months?? Idk honestly. My writing got so horrible because of my writing break.
I'll need some time to recover from that. Anyways, yes! I am going to do a second book of this. In the meantime, I'll continue to publish short chapters here that are harmless.
The second book will be more descriptive (hopefully) and less childish. By that I mean say goodbye to those overreacting scenes. My imagination isn't as good as it was when I was 13 or 14. I'm so close to being 16 that I honestly don't have much imagination anymore.
My drama teacher says I am creative, but idk. Let's just hope I can do this. Oh! And some stories will be an alternative plot instead of them being heros. However, that will be sometimes.
I wasn't even going to continue this book, but I checked the views.....HOW?? THANK YOU. I've been also getting notifications from you guys.
The beginning of this book is REALLY crappy and confusing. The second book will not be that confusing as it is now.
Please give me a vote or comment that you are still reading this book. If I don't get as many comments or votes on this chapter.... Then the second book will probably not happen. I need to know how many still read this.
Thank you,
~ Mary
