Foolish Teens

Beastboy's heart got caught on his throat. The same heart started beating faster than a cheetah running through a desert full of cactuses. He wasn't sure if he heard wrong or right. Her smile was pure, but the words were poison. "Can you repeat that?" He struggled to get out the words. The air seemed to decreased at every second.

Her shoulders dropped and he head was lifted up slightly. One arm was rubbing the other up and down with an unsure frown. "My father is Trigon."

"So you are related to Raven?" He asked very confused. It was just a prediction he thought since they both had the same father.

"Eh...I guess you can say shes my half sister. Trigon adopted me from the orphanage. He wanted me to lead you here..." She explained to him.

"What does he even want with me?" Beastboy already had a few ideas on why he wanted him in his mind. He wasn't sure if he should fly away or stay. After all, he was still a bird.

"Come and see." She offered him a hand. Hi looked down at it before turning back into himself. His lips parted just a tiny bit as he thought about it. He looked up at her sweet smile.

He knew he wasn't suppose to join the dark side. He isn't about that life. His friends would be extremely disappointed in him. He knew that. Then he remembered all the conflict going on with his jealousy. If he couldn't be a Titan, then he might as well join someone who appreciated him.

He gave a long sigh. "Lead the way." Tiffany immediately smiled widely. She grabbed his hand and lead him into a small hidden house in the woods.

The other Titans stood in awkward silence of crowds in the middle of the city. Every single eyeball looked at them in confusion. Robin was the most angry of all. He couldn't believe nobody was present to fight. Cyborg scratched his head in confusion. He could have swore the computer said this exact location they are standing was in danger.

Starfire was worried for Robin. She knew how badly he can get when stuff like this happens. Raven was pretty much annoyed like Robin. She could have been meditating or reading a book by now. The wind blew their hair to the side.

Robin's eyes glared hardly at the floor as his fists clenched into fists in each side of his hips. Starfire slowly walked over to Robin holding her hands close. "Perhaps it was a mistake..." She tried to keep the right atmosphere around them.

Robin quickly turned his head to look at her. " This was no mistake. Someone planned this. Trigon planned this." Robin said clenching his teeth.

Raven soon shivered as she heard her father's name. "Please tell me this was a computer mistake, Cyborg...." Raven looked at Cyborg with a tiny bit of hope glowing in her eyes.

Cyborg wasn't sure if his computer was broken or not. "I have no idea. I'll have to check it out..." That was the thing he could say to her.

"We need Beastboy to turn into a dog and smell all around to investigate-"

"We don't need him!" Robin yelled at Starfire. "He choose to leave and we will all respect his decision. He probably left because he couldn't handle it." Robin mumbled the last part.

"Excuse you cheap hair gel boy!" Cyborg stepped closer to Robin. He didn't like the way Robin was saying disrespectful words towards Beastboy like that when he isn't present. "You are the one who got all over Beastboy's girl!"

Robin looked at Cyborg perplexed on what he was trying to say. "What are you talking about?"

Cyborg wasn't sure if he wanted to discuss about the issue in front of the girls. He knew Beastboy would kill him if Raven ever found out about what he told Robin.

A lump formed on his throat. "May we talk in private?" Cyborg whispered over to Robin.

Robin nodded, clueless of what the whole whispering was about. To him, he thought the girls should have known as well. However, cyborg would not allow the woman to contribute in the discussion. "Remember when you tried to comfort Raven? Well thanks to that BB is now gone to some other place. If it wasn't for your kindness, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"I was just comforting her!" He viciously said.

"You know how Beastboy is with these types of stuff!" Cyborg didn't care if he was protecting a fool, he just wanted his friend back. He wanted to continue to play video games with his best friend. That and he wanted to beat Beastboy since Robin wasn't easy to beat.

Robin let out a loud sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair covered in mostly gel. "We have to go find him. Do you think if we split up we can easily find him?"

"Don't know, but it's worth a try."

"Tell the girls. I'll start searching around the area." Robin ordered.

Cyborg nodded. "On it!" He fled towards the two girls who seemed to be curious on what the boys were talking about.

Back to Beastboy, Tiffany had lead him into the secret entrance hidden behind a few bushes. They looked very real but in reality they were all made of plastic materials. Beastboy has seen plastic objects before but he has never seen the type of plastic used to hide the entrance.

Once they got inside, they knew what hell really looked like. The walls were all rocks with red reflecting onto them because the floor was covered in mostly fire. There was only one path that wasn't fire, and that path lead straight to Trigon sitting down on this big stone chair.

His long pointy demon nails tapped on the arm part of his chair as he waited for them to reach the end. Beastboy was a little hesitant about stepping onto the path, so he turned into a bird and flew instead. He couldn't risk falling into a dangerous trap.

As they reached their destination, Beastboy turned back into his normal self. "Father, I bring you the bravest man."

Trigon looked down to look at Beastboy with a smile. "Welcome to my home, Titan-"

"I'm not a titan anymore." Beastboy informed him.

"Really? Well you did good! Those Titans treated you like trash." Trigon sat back into his chair with shame writing on his tone of voice.

"They are great people." Beastboy mumbled not wanting to give in on Trigon's choice of words.

"Are you sure? Nobody appreciated your good jokes. Here, your jokes are always welcome my dear boy."

"Starfire laughed at every single one of them." Beastboy made his point.

"Starfire?" He repeated in shock. "The same alien girl who ruined your one chance at romance? Let's not forget that one time."

Beastboy cleared his throat. "She didn't know."

"Perhaps not, but you could have gone on a beautiful date with Raven if Starfire wasn't there. My daughter and you could have been dating right now." Trigon was working hard to make Beastboy realize how much he missed out.

- Flashback.-

It was morning and Beastboy was dared to ask Raven out by Cyborg yesterday. He wasn't going to do it at first, but he decided to give it a try anyways.

On his way to knock out on Raven's room, Beastboy stopped himself to check If nothing was out of place. He wasn't smelling like wet dog, his hair was on point, and the outfit he had on was well with no stains. Beastboy was ready to show Raven how well he could ask her out.

He knock on the door, but the door quietly opened by itself. Beastboy knew better than to just enter like that without permission however, he did it anyways. Quietly, he observed Raven facing an unknown figure. Beastboy immediately thought the figure was one of her emotions. It had to be.

He squinted his eyes to get a better look at the person. His reaction was surprising when he saw long hair floating. He knew perfectly that none of Raven's emotions had long hair like that. The only female who could have hair such as that is Starfire.

"Friend! I invite you to go on an adventure with me to the mall of shopping! We can shop until we drop? I think that is how you say it."

Raven opened one of her eye, no caring to see who was talking to get clearly. "Can't, busy mediating."

"But don't you wish to explore the mall in such a small time with me? Your emotions will not be disturbed." Starfire tried to convince her with a small part of friendship details.

"Go with Robin, I'm sure he'll love to take you." Raven wanted to get rid of Starfire as soon as possible.

"I have asked, but he declined." Starfire said sadly.

"Then go with Beastboy or Cyborg." Raven kept on insisting.

"But they are not females like us." Starfire really wanted Raven to go with her no matter what.

"Starfire, there comes a time in everyone's life where they want to be left alone. Right now, I want to be alone."

"But being alone isn't what most people want." Starfire's green eyes became glossy of tears pooling inside her eyes.

Raven gave up. "Fine, I'll go with you. Don't expect me to like it because I won't! "

"Oh, thank you friend Raven!" Starfire hugged her friend tight.

Beastboy backed away from the door with a small frown. Raven and him were suppose to be hanging out. All his plans were ruined.

- End Of Flashback -

"Now," Trigon began. "What about Cyborg? Didn't he always tease you at losing all the time at video games?"

"I just need more practice." Beastboy mumbled.

"See? Now you are all sad. If you were my friend, I would make sure you won every game. Beastboy, Cyborg is unfair to you. The games you two play isn't even a real competition. Come on, he's half robot! Of course he's going to always win."

"He's still human!" Beastboy yelled.

"I never said he wasn't. Think about it."

- Flashback-

"Dude! I'm going to beat you this time!" Beastboy kept of pressing random buttons to help him win the race car challenge against Cyborg.

" Not in a million years!" Cyborg yelled while looking straight at the screen. His blue car kept on crashing the green car on the side.

The blue care ended up making the green car spin around in circles as the blue car casually passed by to the finish line.

"Dude! What the ? How? When!?" Beastboy let his controller drop to the floor when he stood up to see that Cyborg have won again.

"Cheats come in handy sometimes." Cyborg grinned.

" Cheater!" Beastboy dropped to the couch.

"Hey! You could learn some cheat moves as well." Cyborg rubbed Beastboy's hair, laughing.

- End Of Flashback -

Beastboy darted his eyes to the ground. He never thought that Cyborg was actually doing it on purpose. That explained why he always won the game with crazy moves Beastboy couldn't do himself.

"Do I even have to tell you about Raven and Robin? You already know how much they are betraying you. Join me and together we can get back at them. What do you say?" Trigon looked closely at Beastboy.

"I say..... Let's do it." Beastboy gave in.
