They Save You

Robin

"Robin." Your kidnapper greeted, making you look up.
You were tied to a chair in what looked like a warehouse, but you couldn't be sure where. In front of you was a large screen with a panel of buttons underneath, and in front of the screen was Red X. Right now the screen displayed the face of your boyfriend as he worriedly looked you over.
"Y/N. Are you ok?" He breathed, happy to see you alive and in decent condition after being missing for over 24 hours.
"Relax, shes fine. I haven't hurt her. Right, Y/N?" Red X said, looking over his shoulder at you for confirmation.
You mumbled, "fuck you," your words muffled by the duck tape covering your mouth. He hasn't hurt you, but that doesn't mean this entire scenario wasn't unpleasant.
X chuckled, understanding what you were trying to convey, before turning to Robin. "See?" Robin was seething as he looked down at his ex-alter ego. "Now, lets talk demands." X said, leaning onto the panel.
"What do you want?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"You know exactly what I want, Robin. The scanner."
"Scanner?" He raised an eyebrow, clearly confused by the request.
"Yes. The Xenothium scanner. You have it. I want it. And in return, you can have your girlfriend back unharmed."
Robin frowned. You weren't sure what this scanner was but you could tell Robin was hesitant to hand it over. "Tick tock." X said said after a moment making him sigh.
    "Fine."
"Meet me at the docks in exactly one hour." X demanded, standing straight and adjusting one of his gloves. "Come alone or the deals off." He added before hanging up the video call.
He then turned and strode over to stand in front of you. "I'm leaving you here." He said, looking down at you.
You mumbled against the tape and he reached out to pull it off. He surprised you however when he pulled it off slowly, making it as painless as possible instead of just ripping it away like a bandaid.
"I thought you were taking me to the docks." You said again.
"No, I get the scanner and in return he gets your location." You looked dubiously up at him. "Relax, I won't screw him over. I'm a thief not a villain." He said making you sigh.
"I don't suppose you would loosen these ropes a little before you go?" You mused while wiggling your hands around, expecting a definite no.
He surprised you yet again when he instead responded, "Are they hurting you?" Before walking around to check the ropes.
"Why are you so...not a total asshole?" You asked in confusion when you felt him adjusting the ropes so they weren't painful, but you still wouldn't be able to escape.
He chuckled at your question before answering you. "I told you, I'm not a villain. Plus, I did tell your boyfriend you'd be unharmed." You hummed in thought after he responded.
He stood back up again and made his way towards the exit. "Robin will be here for you in about an hour and a half, at most." He called over his shoulder before disappearing through the doors, leaving you all alone.
With no way to tell how much time has passed you didn't know for sure how long it took before Robin ran into the warehouse. You called his name, obviously relived and unable to contain your excitement.
"Y/N! Thank god you're ok!" He said happily while cutting the ropes off.
You breathed his name again, tearing up a little at the immense relief of finally being rescued. As soon as the last rope came off you jumped into his arms. He hugged you back just as tightly, pressing kisses to the top of your head.

Cyborg

You were seated between Gizmo and Mammoth in the very back seat of their monster van.
Gizmo was currently inspecting you with a criticizing gaze. "I don't know what you see in that toe-sniffer." He said, raising his googles to get a better look at you. "I mean, you're actually kind of decent looking and he's so Blech." He continued with a sneer.
As much as you wanted to make a snarky remark, the very large and intimidating man sitting to your right made you scared enough that you kept silent. You glanced up at Mammoth and he smiled wolfishly down at you making you look forward again.
Your cheeks felt a little stiff from crying minutes before. Of course you weren't openly sobbing, you had more dignity than that. On the outside you just shed a few tears, keeping your head down in an effort to keep your pride intact.
"What do you think Cyborg would give up to get his precious girlfriend back?" Jinx questioned with a smile from the front seat.
"Um, guys, we have a problem." See-More pointed out from the drivers seat, adjusting the rearview mirror.
You had to lean forward a bit to see around mammoths massive form to catch a glimpse of Starfire flying along side the car. The sound of squealing tires turned your attention to the t-car that was driving on the left. And guess who was behind the wheel.
"Cyborg..." You breathed with a breathy laugh. You were so incredibly happy to see him.
"Orders?" See-more asked nervously, turning to Jinx.
She glanced at you before looking at the money in the very back, then her eyes were on you again. "She's not worth the trouble. Mammoth, chuck her."
"W-What?" You asked nervously, looking from Jinx to Mammoth. He gave you another wolfish grin while grabbing you by the back of the shirt and dragging you up off the seat.
You screamed and thrashed around, trying your best to avoid becoming road kill. The van was about 12 feet tall, and they were going about 80 miles per hour, so you really really didn't want to be thrown out. Of course, he was a lot bigger and stronger than you, so there was nothing you could do when he opened the door and did just that.
This is it, you thought, I'm so dead. One moment you were falling and the next you were suddenly dangling. You registered the feeling of thin arms wrapped around your torso and looked up to see Starfire was carrying you with a smile.
You sighed from relief and felt yourself emotionally deflate. It has been a hectic day. Star gently sat you on the ground and you looked up to see the T car squealing to a stop a few feet away.
Cyborg jumping out of the car and ran over to you, picking you up in a bone crushing hug, metaphorically of course. "Are you ok? Did they hurt you? Gizmo didn't lay either of his slimy hands on you, did he?" He immediately bombarded you with questions, but you were too emotionally drained to answer all of them.
"I'm ok, Vic." You murmured, nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck.

Beast Boy

You let out a long over dramatic sigh to let your kidnappers know just how bored you were. "Oh my god. You guys don't even have like, a deck of cards? I'm dying in here."
You had been bombarding them with questions for the past two days, hoping if you annoyed them enough they would just let you go.
"You will die in there if you don't shut up!" Killer moth screeched, irritated with your never ending pestering.
You groaned loudly, standing up off the cot and sulking over to the cell door to lean on the bars. Kitten was sitting quietly at the table outside your cell painting her nails. "What's in this for you, Blondie?"
She glanced up at you before giving you a sickeningly sweet smile. "When Daddy captures the Titans, Robin will be all mine to do with as I please."
You slowly nodded, a little creeped out. "Hey Moth." You said, turning your attention to him instead. He sighed, expecting something annoying to come out of your mouth, and who were you to disappoint? "If you and Doctor Light got into a fight, who would win?"
He slowly lowered his head on to the desk in front of him, obviously dying inside.
"Come on, admit it, he would kick your ass, wouldn't he?" You teased, pushing away from the bars and making your way back over to the cot. "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you." You sang loudly and purposefully off tune.
A loud alarm went off interrupting your solo and making Moth jump up from the table. He started heading for the door but then stopped half way, turning to look at you. After a few seconds he made a decision and headed for your cell.
He opened the door and grabbed you roughly by the arms, forcing you to stand. "Lets go say hi to your boyfriend." He said, holding your arms behind you and making you walk in front of him.
After a few twists and turns you got to a big room, where you saw all five Titans fighting a swarm of giant moths. Killer moth whistled and they all backed off. The titans look up to see you in his possession and regained their fighting stances.
Moth dragged you across the room saying loudly enough that they could hear, "Just take her! I'm gonna lose my mind if I have to listen to that Damn Rick Astley song again!" He roughly shoved you towards the Titans and Beast Boy caught you before you hit the ground.
All the giant moths followed Killer Moth as he disappeared back through the door. The Titans, who were thoroughly confused, let him go, mostly because they got what they came for and did not want to fight with those moths again.
Beast Boy looked down at you with furrowed brows, waiting for an explanation. "I annoyed the fuck out of them." You said simply making him laugh quietly.
     "That's my girl."

Raven

"Let's try this again." Brother Blood said, dragging a chair over to sit directly in front of you.
You were tied to a metal chair, your head hanging down, blood dripping from your lip onto your lap.
"How do I get into the Titans tower?" He asked, to which you didn't respond. After a few seconds of silence he asked another question, "Raven. What are her weaknesses?" You still didn't respond.
He's been at it for hours, and you were so tired and in so much pain. You hadn't answered any of his questions, keeping silent the entire time.
After a few seconds of silence you felt yourself slipping into unconsciousness, but was rudely awakened when your head jerked to the side, a stinging pain on your right cheek. "I did not say you could sleep." He said in a harsh tone, grabbing a fistful of your hair and pulling it back so you were looking up at him.
He reached a hand up to your face and you whimpered at the sight of the scalpel in his hand. "Tell me what I want to know." He demanded, moving the blade threateningly closer to your eye.
You sighed, feeling emotionally drained yet still absolutely terrified. You had already made the decision that you weren't going to tell him anything, so you just relaxed and accepted your fate. When he realized you weren't going to say anything he raised the blade above his head, ready to strike you down.
The laptop sitting on the table a few feet in front of you beeped and he paused his action. You couldn't stop your sigh of relief as he set the scalpel down and went to check the computer. After a few seconds he smirked, looking up at your bruised and bloody form. "Your friends are here." He said in a sing song voice, standing up and grabbing his coat, striding confidently out of the room.
You sighed, leaning your head down again. You were so incredibly tired, and the many times he's hit you in the head has you dazed. The silence in the room made your ears ring and the metallic taste in your mouth was almost comforting after nearly a day of it being the only thing you've tasted. You slowly felt yourself slipping away again and wanted to cry when you felt yourself being shaken awake.
You looked up, expecting Blood to be standing over you once more, but instead you saw Raven, and then you wanted to cry for an entirely new reason. She was using her powers to quickly untie the ropes that binded you, glancing over her shoulder at the door often.
"I didn't tell him anything." You slurred, your head bobbing a little.
Her worried eyes met yours and she gave you a sad smile. "I know. I know you didn't." She assured with a nod of the head.
"Blood-" you warned, severely hoping she didn't come alone.
She cut off your warning with another reassurance, "Taken care of."
The ropes came undone and she was lifting you out of the chair with one arm around your waist and your arm over her shoulders. You had to lean on her in order to walk and she used her powers to keep you upright so you both didn't topple over.
"Come on, lets go home." She muttered, leading you towards the door.

Starfire

"I don't know!" You yelled, desperately holding on to her wrist with your free hand. You didn't know how high up you were, but you were certain a fall from this high would definitely result in death.
"Wrong answer." She said, loosening her grip on your arm so you slipped a little.
"What do you want?" You whimpered, your fear of heights really coming back to haunt you.
"I. Want. The. Jewel." She said slowly, as if she was talking to a child. "Starfire has a rare Tamaranean jewel, the only one in existence, and I want it. Tell me where she is hiding it." She demanded, letting you slip a bit more.
"I don't know! I swear I don't!" You yelled, tears brimming your eyes.
She sighed before smiling down at you, "I believe you." Her smiled melted away, "but unfortunately for you, that means you're useless to me."
Your heart stopped as she let you go, your hand slipped from her wrist and you fell. Your stomach dropped and you squeezed your eyes shut, your fear practically paralyzing you. It was so incredibly windy and cold that when you did open your eyes the air brought tears to them. You could see that you were rapidly approaching the ground and something in you clicked that you were actually gonna die. You took a deep breath and held your arms out. If this was really gonna be your end then you wanted to at least enjoy the ride.
You gasped at the feeling of arms encircling your waist, slowing your fall so you could land safely on your feet. Your first though was maybe Blackfire had changed her mind, or wasn't planning on killing you at all.
Neither of those options ended up being true when you saw it was actually Starfire who saved you. You looked up to see that Blackfire was gone and turned to your girlfriend, pulling her into a hug. It was clear she was fuming and you hugged her a little tighter.
"She was looking for a jewel," You explained before she even asked, "she thought i knew where you were hiding it."
"I do not have any-" she paused and a look of realization crossed her face.
     "What?" You asked.
"She was after The Empress' Jewel." She said thoughtfully, more to herself than to you.
"Star?" You asked, getting her attention.
"The Empress' Jewel is a family heirloom. It is the only one of its kind making it extremely valuable. It is currently in my possession."
"It is?" You asked, finally pulling away from the hug.
"Yes. My mother left it to me when she passed because she did not trust Blackfire to keep it in the family. She does not even know what it looks like."
"Where is it?" You asked out of curiosity. She smiled at you before raising one hand to point to the jewel on her chest plate.

Jinx

"Tell me where I can find her." He repeated the question again.
You hummed in fake confusion, "Find who?"
     He sighed, "Jinx. Your girlfriend."
You crossed your legs, leaning back so your chair was only on its back two legs. You were in some sort of interrogation room in their tower. "Jinx," You hummed, "Sorry, but I don't think I've ever heard that name before."
He picked up an envelope off the floor and pulled out a handful of photographs, sliding them across the metal table that separated you so you could see them. They were various photos of you and Jinx together doing a variety of activities. "Try again." He said, crossing his arms.
You leaned forward so the front legs of your chair clicked to the tile floor and picked up a photo of you and Jinx kissing. You smirked, turning it around so he could see it. "It's incredibly creepy that you have these." You responded, ignoring the question completely
"I don't understand why you're protecting her," he admitted, "She robs banks. She hurts people. Give me something, Y/N." He said, uncrossing his arms and leaning forward.
"Have you ever been in love before Robin? Not like a little crush, but actually in love?" He raised an eyebrow, taken aback by your question. "So in love that they could be terrible person and you wouldn't care because they weren't a terrible person when they were with you? So in love that you would do anything, you would die for them if it meant they were safe?" You tapped on Jinx in one of the photos, "she's it for me. So no," you leaned forward to meet his gaze across the table, "I'm not gonna give you anything." You leaned back again, keeping your eyes locked to his.
He sighed, realizing he was getting nowhere and started picking up the photographs. His communicator beeped and he paused, pulling it out to see what was going on. He furrowed his brows before looking at you.
"The Hive are robbing a bank in the city. Looks like Jinx doesn't even care that we've got you here." He said while clipping the pager back to his belt. He slid the photos into the envelope and grabbed one of your hands, handcuffing you to the leg of the table.
"I didn't peg you for a handcuff kinda guy." You teased with a smirk. He ignored your comment, grabbing the envelope and leaving the room.
You smirked, getting comfortable. After all, this was all part of the plan. It wasn't long before Jinx ran into the room, smiling upon seeing you. You held your hand up so she could see the handcuff and she examined it for a few seconds. With a quick wave of the hand she had the handcuffs breaking away from your wrist.
"Come on," She said, "it won't take them long to realize I'm not there." You nodded, following after her as she ran for the exit.

Terra

You don't know how long you've been here. There wasn't a window in the cell you were locked in so it could've been hours, days, weeks, who knew.
What you did know was you were loosing your mind being in here. You've been in here since you first woke up after you were abducted in your car. What's worse is you woke up barefoot in what looked like a grey prison jump suit. Whoever did this didn't even have the decency to clean the dried blood up that has dripped down the side of your face from the hit you took. The only evidence of any other people even being here was the metal tray of food that would be periodically slid into your room through a slot on the door. Other than that you were completely and utterly alone.
You were scared, cold, and emotionally drained. With no way to tell how long you'd been there you couldn't even be sure anyone realized you were missing yet. You hoped so. Maybe Terra was the first to realize. Or maybe it was your family who noticed first and Terra was notified by the police. You keep waiting for cops to bust in and save you. Or maybe even the Titans.
You didn't even know why you were here, or who took you. All you saw in the rearview mirror of the car was his mask. One side was a sort of brass color, the other was plain black.
You heard a thump in the hallway and your heart beat sped up. You pulled your knees to your chest and jumped at the sound of another thump on your cell door. This is it. They're finally going to kill me. You thought, your eyes welling up with tears.
The door opened and no matter how much you wanted to look away, you couldn't bring yourself to do so. You expected to see that mask that has haunted you for know knows how long, but instead you found yourself looking at the leader of the Teen Titans.
He hurried into the room, gently pulling you up from the bed. "Come on, we don't have long." He said, leading you towards the door.
You were still a little shocked and confused by his sudden appearance. Maybe this was all just a trick. Maybe you had officially lost your mind and this was all in your head. "What?" You questioned, hesitantly letting him guide you from the room.
He could sense your hesitance and turned you around to face him, quickly explaining the situation. "Your girlfriend, Terra? She's an old friend of ours. She came to us for help when you went missing a few days ago. I don't know how long the others will be able to distract Slade so we need to go. Now."
You nodded, following him as he led you out a back door where for the first time in days, you saw the sunlight.

Gizmo

You were practically shaking in the interrogation room. The drone you had bought sat on your lap, your arms tightly wrapped around it. You willed yourself not to cry, not wanting to show weakness in front of them.
If felt like forever before the door opened and Cyborg stepped in. He gave you a friendly smile, sitting in the chair on the other side of the table. "Hey, don't be so nervous. I just want to ask you a few questions." He said, his metal arms clinking against the table when he set them down. "Do you know why your here?"
You were quiet for a few moments before responding, finally working up some courage. "I assume all my years of illegally downloading music has finally caught up to me." You joked making his brows furrow.
"What? No. Well, I mean, that's bad, stop doing that, but that's not why your here." He sighed, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "Your boyfriend, Gizmo, robbed a bank a few days ago and some people were hurt."
You had spoke to him today which means... "You didn't catch him." You spoke loud enough for him to hear.
"No. We didn't. But you know where he is, don't you?" You did.
"What I'm hearing," you said, finally meeting his eyes, "is you guys didn't do your job right, and now you want me to help you fix your mistake."
He clenched his jaw but otherwise didn't react. "We want to find him. We need your help."
You hummed, "sorry, but I don't clean up other people's messes."
He sighed, turning to look at the mirror on the wall, a two way mirror no doubt.
The lights flickered once before going out, leaving you in the dark. A flashlight flicked up from his shoulder and he pulled out a communicator. "Robin, we lost power in here." He said, waiting for a response. None ever came. "Robin." He said again. He sighed when still no one responded.
He turned to you, standing up from his seat. "We're not finished." He said before walking over to the door. The door was electronic so he had to use his own power to unlock it to leave, locking it again once he was out.
As soon as the door shut you ran over to it, hoping to get it open, but without any power there was nothing you could do. Your phone rang and you quickly answered once you saw it was gizmo.
     "Giz! The Titans have-"
"I know. I knocked the power out. We don't have much time so I need you to listen to me and do everything I say." You agreed, waiting for the first order. "Are you in an interrogation room with a fail-secure electronic door?" Most of that sounded about right.
"Yes." You said quickly, grabbing your box. You heard what sounded like a keyboard and the door beeped, the light beside it turning on.
You tested the door and was ecstatic when it opened. "Go left." You obeyed the order and jogged do the hallway. "On the right there should be an elevator." You pressed the button and nearly slapped yourself on the forehead.
     "There's no power."
     "Working on it." He muttered.
You nervously looked up and down the hallways as he typed away. The power to the elevator came back on and you quickly hit the button, stepping inside once the doors opened. "What floor?" You asked, looking at all the buttons.
"Two. Then your gonna go right." He answered and you quickly hit the button. It was only two floors down so it was only a short ride before you stepped out into the dark hallway, swinging a right.
You jumped when the lights suddenly came back on. "Giz-"
"I know. Go right, then left." You picked up the pace. They were gonna notice you were missing any second now. You made your turns and sprinted towards the door at the end of the hall.
You were outside in a moment and cursed when you remembered the Tower was on a small island.
"Just hold on. I'm on my way." He said before hanging up. You made your way towards the water and looked nervously up at the tower.
The sound of an engine took your attention away from the tower and you saw a speed boat heading towards you. Upon seeing gizmo behind the wheel you ran into the water, knowing it wouldn't be able to go all the way to the shore.
The boat floated to a stop beside you and looked up at gizmo in surprise. "Where did you get a speed boat?"
He held a hand out to you, "stole it. Now get in."
You grabbed his hand and he pulled you into the boat and out of the freezing water. He started speeding off just as an alarm went off inside the tower.
